Chelene

Allura. It has always been a peaceful planet. Its inhabitants for many centuries have carried down a tradition as serving as the universe’s historians, making a dedicated effort of traveling and recording all of the different events in all the different planets, as many as they could possibly discover, and relaying it back to the home planet. They are extraordinarily efficient in their technology as well, using very complex spacecraft and computers to travel and record all that they see.

The Allurians never used their technology for violence, and were very fortunate to have had such a long, rich existence without resorting to it. They weren’t too fortunate, however, during the time of Freeza and his conquering of planets. Freeza’s henchmen, some were Saiy-jins, saw Allura as a planet to use for selling technology and making money off of all the saved information the Allurians have gathered for ages and ages. They has information so far back, they even had archived the events of the creation of Buu. Freeza, however, didn’t want to use them just for money. He saw something in them more valuable to him than that. He ended up using their information on other planets as a tool for finding out which ones were worth taking over. He also used the information as a way of seeing who would give him the most trouble in takeovers, although it was never a big concern. Freeza spent a lot of his time in Allura, and he treated them very well. The Allurians were aware of who he was before he ever arrived on their planet, and were very grateful to him for never assaulting anyone, for they were also aware of his great power, and grateful for him not abusing it. Freeza became a prominent figure to the Allurians. It was a sad day to them the day Goku defeated him on Namek. It was an even sadder day when he and his father were destroyed by the sword and strength of the powerful Trunks. There was an Allurian on Namek during the epic battle, and one present to witness the death of him and his father. Since his death, they were very interested in the different species of Saiy-jin that was powerful enough of defeating, at the time, the most powerful being in the universe.

They witnessed this species defeat beings even more powerful than Freeza, such as Cell and Buu. It was a surprise to them, since Saiy-jins were never really a powerful race, just a race of good fighters. They never resented these Saiy-jins for killing Freeza, for they knew that Freeza wasn’t a good man, but he was good to them. Freeza met a woman on the planet Allura who he became very close to. When he died, she vowed never to see another man for as long as she lived. One night, she got to see Freeza one more time...."Chelene..." is whispered in the dark as the beautiful woman lay in her bed. She has dark brown skin with long, thick black hair. Chelene hears her name, but ignores it, she knows it can’t be who she wants it to be. "Chelene, my love, wake up. Its me, Freeza." Chelene is a professor at a small college in her city. She met Freeza the day he first arrived. Freeza wanted her the moment he saw her. He never knew anyone he wanted like this before, so he tried hard to impress. She knew about him and was repulsed at first by his arrogance and rudeness.

But one day, he opened up to her like never before, and she learned there was a whole other world about him that no one ever knew. It took over a year, but she finally fell in love with him. She wept the day he died to Trunks’ sword. "Freeza...? It can’t be—is it you?" Freeza responds, "Yes! I miss you so much!"

Chelene: "Me too, not a day goes by when I don’t think of you. Where are you? Are you alive?"

Freeza: "No...I am not. I have found a way to contact you, but not for long. But don’t worry! There is a way for us to be together again! But it’s going to take a very big risk for it to come to pass!"

Chelene: "I don’t care, Freeza! I’ll do anything to see you again and to hold you again!"

Freeza tells his plan to her how to bring him back to the Earth’s dimension. He told her of the Dragonballs, which she already knew about. He told her to go to Earth and gather them and wish him to the new planet Namek so he can gather their Dragonballs and get 3 wishes. Freeza has learned how to speak in the Namekian language during his time in Hell. He said he would rather her go to Earth because it wouldn’t be that dangerous compared to the unknown creatures of Namek. It took Chelene over a year to gather all of the Earth’s dragonballs, as she carefully examined the security of how the spaceships were monitored.

One day, she was finally ready to act. She easily passed as one of the scientists as she stole a white jacket with an ID card. She very smoothly acted as one of them and convinced them all that she was going to use a ship for a top secret mission to Earth. It was a long ride to Earth, but she finally made it. Here she was, getting her thoughts together as it took everything in her power to not wish Freeza to appear in front of her, but knew it wasn’t what he wanted. She wondered what 3 wishes Freeza was going for when he gets the Namekian Dragonballs. She was very knowledgeable of how to summon the dragon, Shenlong. "Eternal dragon! Arise! I summon you!" After covering up from the immense light and smoke of Shenlong’s arrival, Chelene builds up the courage to carry on with her mission. Shenlong speaks in a dark, intimidating voice: "You have awakened me from my slumber. That means you have one wish. Choose wisely and choose quickly, I have little patience!" 

Chelene: "I want you to return Freeza to this dimension, and the spot he is to appear is the new planet Namek." Adrenaline was rushing through her body as she couldn’t believe this day would come, where she would get to see her beloved Freeza. On Namek, Freeza fades in as he is returned to the dimension of the living. Fortunately, no one was around to see him. He spots many animals drinking from a nearby creek. One of the animals was a very large bear. Freeza looks around and takes in a deep breath. He is extremely overjoyed to be back in the Earth’s dimension, and wants to take in the moment. He then turns to the bear drinking from the creek. He gently flies over to it and strokes its fur from behind. The bear reacts violently and swings at him. Freeza has great quickness, but doesn’t even move out of the way and lets the bear hit him. It moans in pain as it realized it just broke its arm on his face. Freeza slams his fist into the bear and knocks him out cold. Freeza grins evilly as he points his finger at the hurt and helpless animal. A beam connects with the bear from the top of its head and Freeza slowly moves it down the middle of its body, until its fur is evenly cut off of its body.

Freeza: "Awww, you’re lending me your coat? You shouldn’t have! Such manners on this planet, just as I remembered it! Hahahahaha!" "I’m going to need this fur to travel in so no one recognizes me. I’m gonna go about getting these dragonballs a lot differently from the time I was here before. Then I will make my wishes! Next will be my revenge!"

An unidentified voice pops out of nowhere. "Freeza! You have made it back! Now we can follow through with the plan as soon as you wish me back!" Freeza recognizes the voice and responds. "Yes Cell, very soon I will wish you back!"

Cell: "Then I will follow through on summoning the Earth’s Dark Spirit and have it destroy all who have opposed us!!"

Cell and Freeza laugh simultaneously from their different dimensions.

It didn’t take Freeza too long to gather the Dragonballs, just a couple of months. He easily intimidated a weaker Namek into guiding him to each one, by reminding him of how he destroyed the first planet and pointing out that he has no problem doing it again. Freeza: "Now that I have gathered all the Dragonballs, I guess I should give you my thanks, huh?" The coward Namek, Banji, just shook in fear and managed to spit out, "You-you really don’t have to, its qu-quite ok."

Freeza: "hahahahaha! You are such a spineless Namek! You don’t deserve my thanks or even to be in MY presence!" Banji screams in terror as Freeza swiftly blasts him to a crisp. "That was fun. Now its time to get down to business." Freeza uses the Namekian language to call out the eternal Dragon of Namek, Porunga.

Freeza: "Oh my god! This thing is HUGE!!"

Porunga is an unbelievable sight. He’s extremely muscular, definitely a dragon, but with human-like features such as big, muscular arms and an impressively defined stomach. Porunga tells him of the 3 wishes he’s entitled to.

Freeza: "My first wish is for my beloved Chelene to be by my side!" Chelene is home, but sees that her body is fading. She is scared at first, but then starts to see Freeza’s face.

Chelene: "Its-its really you!!" She jumps into his arms and they kiss for a long time.

Porunga: " ‘cough cough’ excuse me, you have 2 more wishes, make them now, or I will leave you without them!"

Freeza and Chelene pull away from each other, Chelene is slightly embarrassed. She takes a look at Porunga and is amazed at how he looks. She has heard stories, but she never thought he would be that impressive of a sight. Freeza makes his second wish, which brings Cell back from the dimension of the dead. Cell looks around and also takes notice of the imposing Porunga. He wonders if he could absorb him, but thinks twice as he takes another look at him. Freeza and Cell shake hands.

Cell: "I noticed you had to get your girlfriend first. Getting a little soft, are we?"

Freeza: "Hmph! Soft? Never!"

He starts to power up, and quickly, a mass of energy is let out of his hands that blasts away a nearby cliff. He looks on proudly and turns to look at Chelene. Her expression makes Freeza lose his confident smirk. Cell sees this but doesn’t say anything, he just smirks to himself. Freeza gathers up his composure and turns to Porunga who is losing patience very quickly. Freeza wishes for them all to be transferred to Earth.

Porunga: "And so it is done!!"

All three of them disappear and swiftly re-appear on Earth.

Cell: "Now lets gather what we need to summon our demon that will destroy those so called warriors!" Cell and Freeza laugh evilly, but Chelene just looks away. Freeza sees this, and looks to Cell. Cell gives him a cocky look. He never approved of her coming along, and the looks he gives Freeza shows that he’s right. Freeza turns to her and they start to walk. "My dear, what’s wrong? Aren’t you happy that I’m with you now?"

Chelene: "There isn’t anything I’d rather have in the whole universe than to have you back. But I just don’t understand why you have to go after revenge. Why can’t we just leave Cell to go after them himself? I didn’t know you were going to wish for him to Namek, but once I saw him appear, I knew what you two were up to. I want to be with you so much, but I will not go with you on your quest for revenge."

No one with the exception of Goku and Trunks has ever stopped Freeza from doing what he wanted, and even then it took great power on their part to do it. It was very hard for the words to come out of his mouth, but pride took him over. How dare a woman tell him what to do? How dare anyone stop the all-powerful Freeza to not get revenge? And then he blurted out: "Fine! I didn’t want you anyway! I just used you to bring me back here! You can leave for all I care!" His insides were ripping apart and he can’t believe the words came out of his mouth. He wanted immediately to hold her and apologize, but his pride let him stand firm. Chelene didn’t respond, she just stared at him for a moment in disbelief with her light gray eyes. Freeza took a good look at her long, black hair and smooth dark brown skin. She is so beautiful. He realized what the price was for revenge. He was ready to give up revenge, but after what he said to her, he knew it was too late to get her back. Chelene couldn’t be there anymore, she couldn’t stand looking at him, she turned and ran away. Freeza looked on until she became a small dot. He’s killed millions, destroyed planets, tortured civilizations, and never thought twice about it. But how he felt right there, that pain, he knew how all those people felt. It made him shake. He was pissed at himself and pissed at everyone. He lost the only person in the world who made him know what love was. Since she couldn’t be there anymore, he rationalized that the only thing left for him now, was that revenge he gave her up for. He turned and walked slowly back to Cell. Freeza says, "She’s out of my life forever. Good. I don’t need her! Now I can concentrate on my dominance of this universe!"

Freeza didn’t know if he was talking to Cell, or himself. Cell responds, "Good, because I think we’re gonna be running into the crew sooner than I thought."

Freeza: "Why?" Cell: "Because I must’ve lost King Kai during my transfer to this dimension."

Freeza: "So they’ll be aware of us being here." Cell: "And we’re gonna be ready for them!" They both laugh evilly.

"Goku!! Goku!! Can you hear me! Goku!"

Goku is out in his backyard doing some push-ups, but he hears a familiar voice shouting his name in the middle of them.

Goku: "Nine hundred and thirty---King Kai?"

"Yes Goku! There is a great emergency! The Earth is in trouble!"

Goku: "What’s going on?" Kai: "I’ve been trapped in Cell’s body for about 2 years!"

Goku is shocked. "Why didn’t you call me for help?"

Kai: "I couldn’t. He stole my powers to call between dimensions. He and Freeza have used this power to contact a friend who used the Dragonballs to help them escape!"

Goku thinks of Cell and Freeza escaping hell. He laughs for a minute.

"King Kai, Freeza and Cell are a lot weaker than I am now, I can probably beat them both myself."

Kai: "That is true, Goku, but Cell plans on summoning a dark spirit of the Earth that will be stronger than anything you’ve seen before."

Goku gets serious again. "Tell me of this Dark Spirit."

Kai: "Well, you already know about the Earth having a spirit in the form of a Dragon, the Nameks created the Dragonballs to release them. Well the Earth, as well as all other planets, can have more than one spirit. It all depends on the life force of that planet. Earth has a strong life force, therefore it has many spirits contained in it. Namek as well, you remember how hard it tried to hang on when Freeza destroyed it? It’s because of its strong life force."

Goku: "How does Cell know how to call this Dark Spirit of the Earth?"

Kai: "I’m not sure, but I’m willing to say that someone in hell must have showed him how to do it. I already know how. First, you must be on the planet Earth. Second, you must know the ancient chant to do the ritual. Its in an ancient Latin language and dialect. And finally, you need the blood of the strongest warrior on Earth, drop this blood on the soil, and do the chant. The Dark Spirit will rise from where the blood is. It is the slave of whoever summons it."

Goku: "How long will it last?" King Kai grows sad, "For as long as it wants to, or until someone can destroy it."

Goku: "Has this Spirit ever been summoned?"

Kai: "No, and that’s what I’m afraid of. The Earth’s never seen its Dark Spirit, I don’t know how its going to react."

Goku: "I have to stop them from summoning this power." Goku gets a hold of Vegeta, who was home training. Gohan and Piccolo were close by, and are told of what going on as well. Also at Goku’s house are Trunks and Goten.

Vegeta: "I’d love to get my chance against Freeza now that I’m the one who’s superior in strength."

Piccolo: "If they summon that spirit, Freeza and Cell will be the last thing we’ll have to worry about."

Goku: "We’re going to have to keep them away from getting any of our blood. I’m not sure who the strongest warrior is, so we can’t take any chances of being the one responsible."

Piccolo: "We also can’t let Cell absorb any of us."
