Summary:

Son Goku VS. Krillin!!
The announcer screams out that they will start the next match now, which is between two students of the same school, whom is Kamesennin. They are Krillin and Son Goku! Krillin gawks at Goku, saying that he’ll have to fight his best friend and a strong fighter! Goku tells him not to worry, since they can test each other over their new strength. Krillin silently agrees, but is fired up, when the announcer tells them that they will need to begin. Krillin then grabs Goku’s attention, saying that he had better fight his hardest or he will get mad! Goku agrees, saying that that’s easy. They pat their fists together, as though a handshake, and walk out. Oolong and Turtle scream out that it’s Goku and Krillin, both fighting each other! Krillin desperately hopes he can win, since he trained very hard for three long years. Goku then asks Krillin if he’s ready or not, making him say yeah, and asking Goku if he was? Elsewhere, Kamesennin is putting his original attire back on, with Tenshinhan closing in on him, calling out his name. Kamesennin looks behind, with Tenshinhan trying to asks why would such a master try to disguise himself for the tournament, making Kamesennin explain that he needed to for his students. The explanation is gone on further, with him saying that if they fought their master and won, they wouldn’t feel the need to train anymore. However, if they gone against a stranger, gone all out, and lost, they would train just hard as before, so they may try to beat that stranger. Tenshinhan smiled at the old man’s belief, saying that he thought his students were stronger, which is why he jumped off. Kamesennin then called him an idiot, making Tenshinhan ask why?

The announcer is now declaring the fight official and calls for it to begin! Goku and Krillin then begin their fighting pose, starring into each other. Behind the arena, Kamesennin backs up his story, saying his students are not stupid, because they don’t assume their victory. They want it, so they earn it. He has no worry for them, with Tenshinhan speechless over his words. Kamesennin explained that he is not stupid either, because he will go down the right path eventually. Tenshinhan questions him, making Kamesennin say that he would have to, otherwise, why would he be here? Tenshinhan then spills the beans, saying that he wanted to be the successor of Tao Pai Pai! Kamesennin understands, while giving him one last piece of advice. He would have lost if they continued, since he is smart, and he knows, just like Tenshinhan. Kamesennin then walks off, waving good-bye, and to think about what he said. Ten just gritted his teeth at Kamesennin, saying that he has no dignity, which is why he is soft. Tenshinhan then pondered for a moment, possibly thinking that the old man is right. Back at the fight, the two mini-warriors are facing off. Krillin tries to kick Goku, but Goku blocks it with his right arm. Krillin stepped back and then tried a punch, which was blocked too. Goku tried his luck, which was a kick to Krillin, but he missed. While in the air, Krillin tried to a kick as well, but Goku blocked that other attack. Krillin landed on the ground, with Goku coming straight for him! Goku then chopped him right in the face, knocking Krillin back several leaps.

He then looked ahead to find no one, and was almost kicked from behind, had he not realized Goku was missing. Goku and Krillin then punched and kicked each other around the ring, until Krillin did a two-hand attack that Goku had to duck from. Krillin jumped backwards, and then tells Goku that he is rather quick. Goku compliments him, saying he is a lot faster as well. The audience is obviously impressed, asking how in the world did they do that? Krillin then gets ready to attack, making Goku stay on guard. Krillin rushes to Goku, knocking him right in the chin and then kicks him away. Krillin then jumps right to Goku, yelling out that he will win! He tries to punch Goku, but Goku flies straight up in the air. Krillin jumps right after, gaining speed on his way up. While still going up, Krillin notices the sun, and uses it to his advantage. He points his head into the sun, reflecting it to Goku’s eyes. Goku can’t see now, with Krillin upside down in the air. When Goku finally sees Krillin, Krillin is already above him. Krillin then does a forward kick, slamming Goku to the ground. Krillin yells out that he did it, since Goku will hit the ground and get hurt! Goku catches himself and lands with ease, making Krillin wonder how he did that?
