The Final Match
Krillin comes out to Goku, congratulating him on his fantastic victory,
while the announcer explains that Goku has finally won the battle and will go on
to fight Jackie Chun. Goku and Krillin celebrate, while Bulma, Oolong, and Puar
scream for Goku's success. Yamcha is impressed with Goku's abilities, knowing
that he doesn't hold a candle to him. Jackie agrees with him, but he will have
to keep up his guard the whole time of the fight. Namu gets back into the ring,
looking angry, and heads towards Goku. But, he doesn't lash out, but extend his
hand and a giving Goku a good luck in the next fight. Goku thanks him, while the
announcer explains that Goku and Jackie will take a few moments to prepare and
then the final match! Back at the waiting arena, Namu packs up his things, while
Jackie walks up to him. Jackie asks why he isn't staying for the last match,
letting Namu explain that he must return to his village, telling the bad news.
Namu solemnly tries to accept his villagers forgiveness in his head, telling
them that he won't bring them water now. Jackie then pulls out a Hoi Poi capsule
and lets him have it. Namu asks why he would want one of these, making Jackie
explain that there is nothing in it. Namu is still confused, so Jackie explains
that he could shrink lots of water in it, making Namu shocked to hear. Jackie
tells him that he's Muton Roshi and just wants a little credit for his idea.
Namu is startled to hear such a thing, saying that he is Muton Roshi, but Jackie
tells him to keep quiet.
Namu asks why doesn't want anyone to know, letting Jackie explain that his two
disciples, Krillin and Goku, have entered the tournament. They both have gone
farther in their trainings then he expected, and with Goku's potential, his
power can go on forever. But, going on, he let the enter the tournament to let
them see other fighters, but soon realized, they might be the best here. If he
let one of them win, the power would go straight to their head, thinking they
don't need to train anymore. He concludes by saying he could make them the
greatest fighters in the world, but just needs to let them know that there are
stronger and more powerful fighters there waiting for him. Namu then asks if
he's wearing a wig, while Jackie scratches it, saying that it is, and has super
glue on it. Namu admits that he is happy to have met him, but as for the Hoi Poi
capsule, he doesn't have money to get water. Jackie lets Namu know now, that in
the desert, water is scarce, but in the city, it is plentiful. Namu is amazed to
hear that water is free, when the announcer asks for Jackie Chun and Goku to
come out and begin the match. Jackie steps out of the waiting area, thinking to
himself that he only has one match to go. Namu starts to cry, thanking Mu- er
Jackie Chun for his kind offer, while Jackie waves it off, saying to not worry
about it. However, a thought enters Jackie's mind, and then asks Namu if he
could do him a quick favor.
Moments later, at the main fighting arena, the announcer is there yelling out
that the finals have finally come with a youth vs. elderly and experience vs.
strength. Krillin and Goku both come walking to the fighting arena, while
Krillin tells Goku to win it all. However, Yamcha is over with Jackie, telling
him he'd feel bad if one of his students beat him in the match, while Jackie
tells him once more to stop telling him he's Muton Roshi. Yamcha tells him that
he can't be fooled, but Jackie is busy looking for someone. He then points out
saying, if he's Muton Roshi, then who is that? Yamcha looks out, seeing Muton
Roshi himself! Yamcha can't put words together, and then looks at Jackie,
knowing the truth now. Jackie makes him feel like a moron, telling him that this
is what he's been trying to say. The announcer then proudly yells, if the two
fighters may step out. Yamcha tells Goku that he just say Muton Roshi, while
Goku tells him that Jackie is no one but Jackie.
Krillin asks why would Jackie want to enter the tournament, while Goku also goes
outside the box, saying that maybe Muton Roshi isn't the toughest old fighter.
Outside, Namu is pulling off a fake beard, and fake sunglasses, telling Muton
Roshi farewell to him. Goku comes out with a smile on his face, making the
announcer ask why he's so happy? Goku tells him that he's just so happy to fight
someone so strong now. Jackie stands there, concentrating on the fight, knowing
that he cannot lose and will require every bit of strength. The announcer then
politely asks if the two may get in their positions. Jackie does so, taunting
Goku that he will not hold back. Goku does the same, saying that he won't
either. Everyone stares on, with blank faces, until the announcer screams as
loud as he can for the fight to begin! As soon as he says that, Jackie leaps
forward, angry more than ever that day.
