Long ago, a fearsome warlord is slowly taking over the
land with its great army. No army can win against them due to
their sorceress that can see into the future The ones that are
left over decided to hire an assassin to kill this sorceress.
Little did the assassin know, played by The Rock, that the
sorceress was a beautiful woman that he fell in love with.
Instead of killing the sorceress he decides to take her away
and lead an army against the warlord which will decide the
fate of everyone.

This is a movie that you watch purely for the
action and fight scenes. I don't think anyone would come out
of this movie thinking, wow what a great story. Because it
really wasn't that good. It's a basic good guy beats bad guy
to be a hero, gets the girl and have a happy ending. I suppose
this story does link with the mummy but It's not as fun to
watch.
Special Effects are pretty good. The fighting was nicely done
but if you look carefully, you might see a couple of wrestling
moves such as the body slam, ddt and the body press. Well what
can you expect, the star of this movie is The Rock, I'm
surprised he didn't do his people's elbow. It was an
entertaining movie due to mostly the fight scenes but nothing
special that you wouldn't see form a regular Xena episode.
The best aspect of this movie is the soundtrack. The
soundtrack "ROCK-ed" the movie featuring names such
as Godsmack and System of a Down. Perfect for the fight
scenes, perfect for the movie.
The acting is average at best. I've seen the Rock act better
in the ring than in this movie. But it's not bad, he said
approximately like 2 lines in the movie anyhow for you to even
notice. Maybe he said more but I remember he says one line
like, "I'll kill you", then its a 10 minute fight
scene then he says another line followed by another fight
scene.
