Bardock
- The Father Of Goku
The planet
Vegeta - A red planet, with lighter shades of the same colour circling around
the circumference. It circles on its axis, as the screams of a newly born baby
echo through the air. A small pod, with clear glass takes its place in a small,
modernized room, full of computers and a few scientists. A relatively fat man,
with a white beard presses his hands against the glass of the small pod. He asks
another soldier if this is the son of Bardock, and the other soldier replies
that he is the son of a low level soldier, meaning his potential ability is very
low. The soldier then says that they will send them to a low-class planet, with
very little resistance. The pod opens, and a screaming, oh so familiar baby is
hoisted out of it, ready to be sent away on his first mission. The babies name
– Kakarotto.
The planet
Kanassa – A blue planet, filled with craters, and many a moon circling round
it. It is close to many other smaller planets too, showing its superiority in
size off as it continues to swirl around on its axis. A peaceful, thriving
metropolis is hosted on the planets surface, with its excellent technology, and
impressive looking buildings. All seems so quiet. A huge ape-like creature
wearing that familiar saiyan armour then stands up, roaring, towering over the
huge buildings. It is joined by a few more of its type, as the others start to
tear the city apart, destroying the many buildings with relative ease. Small,
blue soldiers shoot at these beasts, but to no avail. One of the huge apes opens
its mouth, and blasts a beam at a group of the blue soldiers, killing them all
outright. These gigantic apes continue to terrorize the city, causing mass
panic, and making the defenders flee. A blazing inferno is caused as these
horrible apes blast energy beams from their mouths, destroying everything in
their sight. These apes have one significant feature – Their tails. The
monsters swirl their tails through the air proudly, but one of them is troubled
by a particularly strong defender. The blue soldier pants hard after shooting an
energy beam at the leader of the monsters, but all he did was cut its face. The
enormous ape simply treads on the poor soldier, killing him with very little
trouble at all. The moon shines bright amidst the carnage, as blinding blasts of
energy fill the sky with these apes dominating everything. They can be no other
than saiyans, in their transformed state of Oozaru – The huge ape-like
creatures, where they possess a lot more power, but are only able to maintain
this form under a full moon. A massive explosion fills about a tenth of the
planets surface, eventually dying down, leaving mass rubble, and shredded land,
not to mention a job load of dead bodies.
The sun
comes up on the planet of Kanassa, and dead bodies are scattered everywhere.
Newly formed craters littler the plains of a once prosperous city, now lifeless,
and pathetic. In the craters sit five saiyans, discussing the battle. A fairly
fat saiyan maons about the cut caused on his face, and another saiyan laughs in
reply to this, telling him he should have been more careful. The saiyan then
moves to someone else, and refers to him as Bardock, saying that they overdid
his sons birthday celebration a little. The one known as Bardock lies on the
floor, chewing what resembles wheat, and scoffs at the prospect of a
celebration. He wonders why anyone would celebrate the birth of a baby from a
low class soldier such as himself. He sits up, and reveals that he is an exact
replicate of Goku, except there is a scar on his left cheek. Bardock goes on to
practically disown Kakarotto, telling them to do whatever they wish with him. A
female saiyan smirks, and insults Bardock in a sarcastic way. A bald, fat saiyan
(The one who Yamcha, Tien, Krillen and Chao-zu fought in the room of spirit and
time when preparing for the arrival of Vegeta and Nappa) is pigging out on what
looks like a chicken leg, but is probably some flesh from the inhabitants of the
planet, and he laughs at this remark. Bardock wonders why Frieza wanted them to
get this planet for him anyway, as it really isn’t all that impressive
military-wise. One of the saiyan replies to Bardock’s query by telling him
that rumor has it that the planet possesses an energy which allows people to be
gifted with some sort of psychic power. One of the other saiyans say that Frieza
has wanted the planet for quite some time, whether he believes in the rumor or
not.
Some rubble
moves a short distance away from the saiyans, and out pops one of the only
surviving inhabitants of the planets. His clothes are ripped and torn, and he is
looking very badly hurt, and very angry. Bardock, who is nearest to this
soldier, jerks round. He gets to his feet, and prepares to fight. The soldier,
who has blue scales, and an amphibian-like face, charges at Bardock, and seems
to dematerialize, as he appears behind the saiyan, and chops him in the back of
the neck, sending him to the floor, and possibly killing him. One of Bardocks
friends then nail the saiyan in the back, sending him into a wall, and another
one of the saiyans hit the blue-scaled creature with an energy beam. Bardock
gets to his feet, and curses his carelessness. The planets species of monster
seemed strange to them, as it looked sluggish, but could actually move
surprisingly fast. The creature manages to get up, and is surrounded in a white
aura. He tells Bardock that he has given him the power of seeing into the
future, allowing him to known what will become of his descendants. He says that
the saiyans have a cursed future, and are destined to become extinct, just as
his race was. The creature tells Bardock that he will suffer the fate of knowing
what will happen to his race, and then starts to laugh uncontrollably. Bardock
has listened enough, and he blasts the creature, killing him for good this time.
One of the larger saiyans laughs at this threat, and tells the others that there
is no power in the whole universe that can defeat them. Bardock then collapses,
for no apparent reason, as his friends helplessly call out for him to hang on to
his life.
