Dragonball Z is the second part to the never ending and most widley favoured by millions of fans worldwide. It is baisicallya continuation from the previous series Dragonball, about a young boy names Kakarrot (Goku). But in Dragonball Z he is grown up, and faces much tougher enemies thatn in dragonball, to master the ways of the super saiyan. Joining him in hisjourney, are elite class fighters from all around the world, and even from different dimentions and planets.
There are also movies that go along with this series. Dragonball Z is the most widley watched anime there is out there thesedays, and to most fans, it is probably the only anime that they have ever watched. But dispite all that, they have evenmade a dragonball Z live action movie. This anime has quite a lot of violence scenes, and is not recommended for littlechildren. Even though it is scensored for blood and swearing.
Animation -- 7.5/10
The animation in Dragonball Z is above all other animes i've seen, even though most of it in american television is scensored, to take out the blood, and all, it is still very good in the senseof when the characters fight each other, all the body movements, and bone structures are captured perfectly. Even for an anime, that is amazing.
Story -- 5/10
The story of Dragonball Z is recieving this low of a rating , because even though it is interesting, and is able to keep the viewer entertained, and addicted to the anime, the whole storylineis very repetative throughout the series. Good guys vs bad guys, god guys get slaughtered, good guys pull off a miracle and barley win. That is baisically how it goes. Most of the time there isa very good plot, but there is also a lot of talking, and useless staring at each other.
Sound -- 6/10
Sound...one if not the only most important thing in an anime. The Japanese version of Dragonball Z has amazing music. But then again, we are not talking about the Japanese version. This is USAand the usa version has PATHETIC music. Only here and there (Vegeta themes) there's some acceptable music, but the rating goes so high because it originally was intended to be good music, butUSA messed it up.
