:: Version 4 is here:: ::Posted on 11/29/02-nutcool211:: ::Post Comments(0)::

Well folks, Version 4 is officially here, but the site has not been yet adjusted to its surroundings. A couple of things I didn't notice before have come to my sight now, and I am doing as fast as I can to complete all of the work. You may wonder what these changes are. Well as you know, the shade of the content part in our previous layout is different from our new one, so a lot of the intro pictures in the Dragonball, DBZ and DBGT infpo sections and a couple other sections are stills tuck with the gray. I am changing all this and I will work tommorrow too on changing these pics to make the site complete. Thats all for now, ENJOY THE LAYOUT! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

:: DBZ Budokai preview.:: ::Posted on 11/24/02-Mystic Mike:: ::Post Comments(0)::

here is a preview from gamers.com of the upcoming ps2 DBZ Budokai. i just posted the first two paragraphs. heres a link to the whole article and awesome screenshots. DBZ Budokai preview Dragon Ball fans have waited a long time-almost six years since Dragon Ball GT hit the PS1-for the day their favorite series would once again be made into a console game that didn't require modifying a system and learning to read Japanese. That wait is over, now that Dragon Ball Z: Budokai is entering Earth's atmosphere at an incredible rate of speed, and with a formidable Power Level readout (read: Surprise! It doesn't suck like previous DBZ console games). As one might expect, Budokai is a 3D fighting game, but it's not just any ol' Virtua Fighter. You'll begin your training in Story mode, which strolls through the main events of the Saiyan, Namekian, and Android chapters of the Dragon Ball Z saga. The convoluted story's been abridged, but there are loads of cut-scenes, all using the in-game graphics and character models --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

:: Greatest DBZ Event Ever! :: ::Posted on 11/24/02-Mystic Mike:: ::Post Comments(0)::

"There have been many, many super cool DBZ events in the past, but do you know about the grand daddy of ALL DBZ EVENTS? Well, on December 6, in New York City, get ready for the Shonen Jump America Launch Party, an event so unbelievably awesome in its scope that there will NEVER be another one like it!!! So why will it be soooooo cool, and just what is this Shonen Jump we’re talking about? First, the reason that this event is ultra unique is this…the original creator of Dragon Ball Z is coming over from Japan…Akira Toriyama himself!!!!! Reportedly it has been years since has left Japan. Can you possibly think of anything more cool than the creator of Goku, Vegeta and the rest of Z-Warriors in attendance at this event? You honestly could not expect more of ANY event associated with Dragon Ball Z!!! All we can say is Wow! Double Wow! Triple Wow! Second, Shonen Jump is one of the most popular and well-known Mangas (where the story of DBZ came from before the animated show) in Japan. It’s absolutely huge. Well, this big blowout will celebrate the launch of this very cool publication in America and give a warm “Welcome” to the cool folks at Shonen Jump. In fact, they are running a special promotion. For only $19.95 you can get a one-year, 12-issue subscription! When you consider that the news stand price is $4.95, that’s like saying, “Buy 4, get 8 free!” And joining in on the fun will be Score Entertainment (the Hummer will be there!), Infogrames – the makers of the DBZ GBA games as well as the upcoming DBZ Budokai, Irwin Toys, the makers of the cool line of DBZ action figures, Viz Communications who produces Shonen Jump and Shueisha the parent company for all things DBZ, as well as our friends at FUNimation Studios! Now you might wonder, where will it be and when? Here it is: Friday, December 6, 2002 2:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m. Chelsea Piers New York, NY 10011 We will be utilizing the MAIN TENT on CHELSEA PIERS, next to the Skate Park. The MAIN TENT is 4,000 square feet with outer walls at 9-feet and the center of the tent is 14-feet. Sooo…It is going to be a day filled with DBZ superstars and fun! And Score Entertainment needs your help! We are looking for 60 die-hard fans to help us out with this event by volunteering and becoming a sort of Saiyan for the Day. Besides getting to go to THE Dragon Ball Z event of the century, you will also earn a CCPP II and more. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity, and it will be on a first come, first serve basis. To register, click here to download the PDF and fax it back to us soon! We are not kidding when we say that this event is the most perfect sparkling diamond of all DBZ events, ever. The question is, will you be there?" source-Score Online --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

:: Mailing list taken off:: ::Posted on 11/19/02-nutcool211:: ::Post Comments(0)::

I have temporarily disabled and taken off the mailing list system I was planning on sending. The service I had wasn't a good one and it didn't allow HTML, so it was impossible to have bold or itallics text. I will bring it back up once I have found a better service. I am sorry to those who have joined and if it has been a disappoitment to them. I hope I find a service soon. Thats all for now. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

:: Song Samples:: ::Posted on 11/16/02-nutcool211:: ::Post Comments(0)::

I thought we were missing some music on this site, so I decided to put up a Song Samples section, and be careful, these are just samples of music right from the series and are not the full music set. Thats all for now. I will inform if any more updates. Note:In case you didn't know, the Song Samples are in the Multimedia section. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

:: Saiyan Heat back up:: ::Posted on 11/15/02-nutcool211:: ::Post Comments(0)::

Saiyan Heat has come back to the anime community and its again under the one and only GohanDog. The site looks cool with its "flashy" layout. The information is up and more sections are being uploaded. In other news, people please listen- We are not affiliating with angelfire or geocities sites anymore. I know this is not given in the affiliation rules, but this will also be included real soon. Also, before applying for affiliation, please notice that we also consider the layout as a good part of the site and we affiliate with sites that have a good layout, and a good amount of content. Thats all for now, Kronos and myself are working on the detailed bios. It will be over soon. Latez. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
