Summary:

The Climax Approaches
Jackie flies toward Goku, as does Goku to Jackie. Right before they connect, they both leap into the air, and put out their legs. They both hit each other, straight into the neck, making blood come out of their mouths. They both fly backwards, in severe pain, while everyone watching knows that this is do or die now. Jackie and Goku land on the ground, with battered and broken bodies. The announcer sees what's going on, and reports that it's a double knock out! Both fighters are out cold! He begins the count, while Goku and Jackie both try with all their strength to get up. Krillin yells out for Goku to hurry, but Jackie seems to get some of his fans on his side too. At nine, Yamcha, Puar, Oolong, and Bulma are practically yelling their lungs out for Goku to get up. The number ten is yelled, seeing that they both are now out. However, in the Tenkaichi Budoukai, there is no tie. One of them has to get up and say, "I did so win!" And, they have to smile when they do it. Who will be the first to stand? Goku pushes his body up, trying to gain balance, until he is pushing with his knees. Jackie still still struggling to try and even get on all fours, letting the announcer say that this fight might just go to Goku! Krillin tells Goku to just give it one more push, which Goku does, and is back on his feet! Jackie is now on trying to get up from the ground to his knees, while Goku is now starting to smile.

Goku then starts to say, "I-I did... s-so... w-" and collapses on the ground. Krillin cries out from the pit of his stomach, while Goku is asleep smiling. Jackie is now on his feet, saying, "I... I...d ...DID SO WIN!" with a great smile! Everyone cheers, rants, shouts, and roars over the victory for Jackie Chun! The announcer declares victory to Jackie, while Krillin starts to cry over Goku's loss. Jackie tells Goku in his head, that his legs are longer, so his kick struck deeper. However, Goku has never pushed Muton Roshi this far, and has made him proud. The announcer, along with the cheering crowd, tells the people that don't think the Tenkaichi Budoukai is something that proves great strength, they should watch this fight. Goku slowly wakes up, asking if he lost? Jackie tells him that he was very, very close, making Goku sad to know he lost. But, he smiles and says that when he trains again, if he wants a rematch? Jackie softly says sure, while the announcer asks if the people in the stadium please applaud for the magnificent twelve-year-old, that made it all the way to the finals! Everyone does so and smiles that Goku is up there with the greatest in the world.
