Dragonball
Z Collectible Card Game
Nate's Tough Enuff Report
The day began with an hour long car drive up to the
event. I was about two hours early so I just sat around and playtested, and
tried to foil my deck, which was successful (still need a few cards!). At about
noon the tournament started.
Round 1: Orange Goku Anger (Was playing with a
FOIL Krillin's Heat Seeking Blast signed by the voice actor of Krillin, WITHOUT
SLEEVES!)
This began with him placing a bunch of anger
cards, Burning Rage, Hero Enraged, etc. I simply passed until he began, then commenced
beat down, this match didn't last very long, I ended up winning by him drawing
himself out. No overkill.
Record:
Wins 1/0 Overkills 0
Round 2 Vs. Orange 18
This match was easier than I tought it would be.
I was lucky early on and got out alot of my drills, dispite the fact he kept
discarding or removing them. I won this game, but again no overkill.
Record:
2/0 Overkills 0
Round 3 Vs. Orange 18
I began with drills and lots of them. He began
the last combat with a Villains True Power which was a bad idea. That one card
probably cost him the game. The last combat he could only stop a few of my
attacks. I ended up winning, but no overkill.
Record:
3/0 Overkills 0
Round 4 Vs. Black Vinegar
This match was pretty odd, I got great hands,
but he had a Vinegar Lv.1 HT and never used his power, through the whole game.
Again over before it started. I beat him with a Cell's Last Strike to end it
with an overkill.
Record:
4/0 Overkills 1
Round 5 Vs. Black Cell
This was actually the hardest battle of the day,
it seemed my entire deck wasn't shuffled, the attacks were at the top, drills
in the middle, and blocks at the bottom. After about 10rounds of Non-Combat
steps I began, with only two life cards in my life deck (Which were Dende
Dragonballs). I stare downed, to send EDB 7 to the bottom of his life deck.
Then 4 energy attacks later I ended up overkilling by 7 life cards, also
putting me in the finals. Note: In that round, 2 People were overkilled and
there were only two of us left, so we began.
Final Round 5 Vs. Orange 18 (Again)
We started off and far into the game I was only
up about 6 cards, then I Foreboding Evidenced and 19's Distressed to get back
up to about 30. I ended with a 19's Energy Burst doing exactly 7, no overkill,
but at least I got first.
I ended up with $24 in store credit and 4 packs
for my overkills, I bought 8 TS boosters with my $24 in credit, and got really
bad cards, except a Trunks Effortless Drill FOIL, THAT'S IT! The four CS
Boosters weren't that good either. So coming out of it I was undefeated and
have gained a reputation as the Tuff Enuff champion of Wizards & Warriors.
Plus a bunch of really bad rares to add to my collection -_- ... Here's the

IQ's Note:
An overkill is a term used in Tuff Enuff Tournaments. It is achieved when the
last attack a player performs deals 7 or more life cards than the opponent was
able to take. If a person is overkilled they are out of the tournament, no exceptions.
Just think of it as a test to see how Tuff one really is >_^
