Absorption
One way of transforming is to absorb others and gain
their abilities or increase their powers. Many use this technique in the
universe of Dragonball-Z-GT but the only ones we know of are Cell and Majin
Buu. Although both Cell and Majin Buu use the absorption technique to gain
power, they both do it differently. Cell absorbs his hosts through an opening
in his tail. He sucks them up and then soon he goes through a transformation.
Majin Buu on the other hand either eats his host or assimilates it through
his body.
Makyo Star
The Makyo-jins use this technique of transformation,
there may be others in the universe that can do this, but to our knowledge
the Makyo-jins are the only ones that bare this ability. When a person
from the Makyo Star is close to it, his powerlevel and abilities skyrocket.
The Original Spice Boys, the second Spice Boys, Garlic, and Garlic Junior
all have this ability. This is seen in the Garlic Junior saga when the
Makyo Star approaches Earth and all from the star get very noticeable
power-ups.
Raw Transforming
Raw Transforming is when a being transforms without
any external interference, meaning they do it all by themselves. Unlike
the Absorption and Makyo Star transforming technique, where they transform
because of an outside affection. Raw Transforming is used by most changelings,
which includes Freeza, Cooler, King Cold, and Zarbon. This technique is
partiulararly useful to conceal ones true power or just not to waste ones
power in a certain stage.
Saiyan Stages
Saiyan Transformations are very unquie, they do not
truely tranform, unlike others. Apprence changes are also not very big.
Some would not agree that Saiyans transform. A saiyan's first every Super
Saiyan transformation is triggered by pure need and loss. But after the
first transformations, the Saiyan is able to control his/her transformtion
into a Super Saiyan.
