Well, the story of DiGi Charat is a very complex one to follow, mainly because it doesn't follow along a very clear story progression. Throughout the 16 episode series, you get dragged along (and I don't mean that in a bad way) with the main characters as they go about doing completely random & different things every episode. As far as a plot, there really isn't one. Each episode (every episode is 3 minutes long) the characters do different things or interact with new people, who then become some of the main characters in the story. From the beginning, we follow Dejiko, Puchiko, and Gema as they land in Akihabara, Japan. Dejiko has dreams of becoming a famous actress (although right now she is only 10). The three of them get a job at a Gaming store called "Gamers" where they also live. Along the way, they meet up with new characters such as Rabi~En~Rose, the members of PKO, and odd things like Abarenbou. As the show progresses you do find out a little more about the characters. You are introduced to Pyoko and the Black Gema Gema Dan who are at war with Planet DiGi Charat. While there isn't really a set story that unfolds and undergoes twists along the way, DiGi Charat focuses more on the activities of the characters and introduces what there is of a story that way.
