Activision announces that it's publishing Creative Assembly's next Total War strategy game, which will have massive fully 3D battles set in Roman times. Although information on the next Total War game hasn't been kept secret these last couple of weeks, Activision has now officially announced that it will be publishing Rome: Total War. The third game in the strategy series known for combining empire-level strategy and massive tactical battles will take place during Roman times and will challenge players to rewrite history and be proclaimed Imperator of Rome. The new game will take a big step forward visually, and it will be based on a brand-new engine that's completely 3D, down to each one of the thousands of units that can meet on the battlefield.
"One of the biggest challenges we've faced so far with Rome: Total War is getting people to believe what they see when we show them the game," said Tim Ansell, managing director of The Creative Assembly. "The cinematic battles are beyond anything ever before seen in a game. So, when people see a screenshot or the game running, they automatically assume that we're showing a cutscene or that it's going to take a supercomputer to run the game. Nothing could be further from the truth. Even before final optimizations the engine performance and the system specs are already very competitive." In Rome: Total War, players can fight as, or against, legendary generals, including Julius Caesar, Hannibal, and the rebel Spartacus, as they lead their faction to the gates of Rome. There will be hundreds of different troop types available, with frontline troops such as legionaries, hoplites, barbarian hordes, war elephants, gladiators, and scythe chariots, as well as war machines like siege towers, battering rams, and catapults that hurl flaming missiles into enemy cities and strongholds. A new Pitfall game and a sequel to Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast are in the works. During its quarterly earnings conference call, Activision revealed a few of the projects that will factor into the company's 2004 fiscal year. The company has plans to release a new game based on the Pitfall Harry property, as well as a sequel to Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast for the PC. In addition, Activision is working on a new Disney Skateboarding game that will run on the Tony Hawk's Pro Skater engine. Lastly, a sequel to Street Hoops will also be released in the 2004 fiscal year, and the company reiterated its plans to release Solider of Fortune II for the Xbox later this year GameSpot  Yu-Gi-Oh Wallpaper

Thats right i've finished the Yu-Gi-Oh Wallpaper, it took quite a while to find all the pictures for it, but i finally got the ones i wanted, and i finished the wallpaper off. It is up in the wallpaper section, so you can go check it out in the 4 different resolution options, they are all up and available. So if you are obsessed wiht Yu-Gi-Oh (ML) then i suggest you go and at least check out the new Yu-Gi-Oh Wallpaper

Thats right as i promised, another episode summary for today, and this one is quite long also. I've done 30 episode summaries so far...and I baisically need 1 more to get the rest of the month off, but i'm not going to slack off for the rest of the month, so i'll just do more. Of course if thats of with you Sen...of course it is, why wouldn't it be ok. You'd want me to do more, it's good for me :), anyways, the episode summary for ep 29 is up.

This episode is kinda messed up, and i don't know why it was put into the storyline, but hey it's there, and it'slong, and i don't know if you're willing to read it, but if you're a Dragonball Z kn00b and you don't know your tail from your ass about dragonball Z, then go ahead and be my guest, the magna is so long that it wouldn't really hurt to write a whole episode summary about every single episode, but then again i'm not eve a 1/4 of the way to finishing, Anyways, next one should be coming either tomorrow or Saturday, but most likley tomorrow. I've baisically got the rest of the week off school until sunday, so i've decided that i'm going to make another wallpaper, i've made 2 dragonballz ones, so i'm going to make a Yu-Gi-Oh one now. I'll have to find the right pictures, so this might take a bit longer then tonight, i'll also bee looking on ways i can improve the layout, i know there seems to be nothing else needed, but i think i can make it a bit better, oh well whatever, look forward to those two things.
