Tokyo University Students Working On Optical Camouflage (2002-12-08 02:12:47)
From Predator to Ghost In the Shell to Die Another Day, optical camo has been big business in movies. Some Japanese college students have been working on the real thing.
Freaky isnt it? |

DBZ Movie #7 - Super Android 13!
Available for pre-order at RightStuf is the The Dragon Ball Z Movie #7: Super Android 13! for $22.46 US DVD Uncut/Edited, $17.96 US VHS Uncut, and $13.46 US VHS Edited. It will be released in Feb 4th 2003. The box-art for the movie looks great and contains Androids 13, 14, 15, and Super #13 as well as Goku, Vegeta, and Trunks.
Video Sales
RightStuf now has the new Buu and Cell Games releases available to pre-order (along with cover art) as well as box sets galore and Movie #7 (which has a very good cover in my opinion). YTV has been airing new DBZ episodes, but on Thursday, they did air a repeat again. This is most likely because they have been getting the tapes that contain the episodes late from their distributors.

I have thought of creating the Attacks section. It will be up soon. I have described about 10 attacks. They should be up soon, and so should the episode summaries. Even though this is just a minor update, I thought I would post about it because I haven't posted in about 1-2 weeks. Stupid ol' me just realised that I haven't completed the Movie Reviews section lol, so I better get that finished. I really don't know what to write for BSG now. BSG already has most of the information that I was wanting to write. Please email me if you have an idea. I'm still a bit busy with other sites that I work for. Seeya everyone. Lookin' forward to christmas in a few weeks... |

Cartoon Network has acquired broadcast rights for Trigun, Lupin the Third and Reign
--------------------------------------------------
Excerpts from AOL Time Warner Press Release:
Cartoon Network today announced the acquisition of three animé series that will air during Adult Swim, its highly-rated late night block of animation for adults 18-34. The three series are Lupin the Third, Reign and Trigun. Lupin the Third follows the adventures of the greatest thief in the world. Lupin is a globetrotting crook, as well as a suave gentleman. Aided by two partners, expert marksman Jigen and samurai master Goemon, Lupin's mad-capped adventures take him around the world stealing extraordinary treasures, helping damsels in distress, staying one step ahead of Inspector Zenigata and matching wits with rival thief, beautiful and dangerous Fujiko.
Trigun takes place in the distant future on a deserted planet. Vash the Stampede is a gunfighter with a legend so ruthless he has a $60,000,000,000 bounty on his head. Entire towns evacuate at the rumor of his arrival. But the real Vash the Stampede, the enigmatic and conflicted lead character in Trigun, is more heroic, even though he usually acts like a complete idiot.
Alexander the Great was the world's most powerful warrior. Reign is a 21st century science-fiction retelling of the legend of this Macedonian king. A visual masterpiece, Reign tells the story of Alexander's's triumphs through engaging characters, intricate plots and glorious battle sequences.
Lupin the Third will air Monday-Thursday at 12 midnight (ET, PT), beginning Monday, January 13. Programming information for both Reign and Trigun will be announced at a later date.

Well, it has once again been a while since I have posted news. Nothing music video related this time. First, Dragonball Z Legendary Super Warriors is now out for Game Boy Color. Unlike the game for Game Boy Advance, this one goes through the entire series from raditz to Buu. Also, there is a new DBZ fighting game called Dragonball Z Budokai for PS2 coming out this month. Also, keep watching Dragonball. There are still new epsiodes of it on Cartoon Network's Toonami, even though new episodes of Dragonball Z have stopped for now. Within a few episodes, Tien should be making his first appearance, the Evil King Piccolo will also be making his apperance within 20 episodes, if it goes that far before stopping again, and another grim suprise. Well, that's about it for now. Until next time, be seeyin ya |

Tokyopop acquires five CLAMP les: CLAMP School Detectives, The Man of Many Faces, Duklyon: CLAMP School Defenders, Miyuki-Chan In Wonderland and Shirahime-syo: Snow Goddess Tales.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Tokyopop's acquisition of these five les pushes their total count of CLAMP manga to ten series. Most of the new les are within CLAMP's usual shoujo repertoire, with Miyuki-Chan In Wonderland being a notable exception. Known widely in this country through ADV's release of the Miyuki-Chan In Wonderland OAV, the manga is a one volume sex comedy.
Three of the five les (CLAMP School Detectives, Duklyon: CLAMP School Defenders and The Man of Many Faces) take place in the "CLAMP School Universe", centered on a fantastical boarding school in the heart of Tokyo." |
