Summary:

The Dodon Pa!
The two fighters for the third fight step out, saying that it's a fight between Krillin and Chaozu. Before fighting, the announcer reminds everyone that Krillin came three years ago, and is now under Kamesennin's wing, but couldn't go on at the finals. Chaozu, however, is from Tsurusennin's team, and is making his first appearance. Goku wishes Krillin good luck, making Krillin wave him off. Chaozu just stares on, making Krillin say to himself that he has never seen him fight, so it will be hard to judge how he will do his attacks. The announcer signals the fight to begin, making Krillin get into a fighting stance, but Chaozu remains motionless. Krillin asks what's going on, if he is even going to try and fight just a bit? Chaozu glides to Krillin, not moving a muscle. He then kicks Krillin into the air, making Krillin very confused. Chaozu then flies up, making Krillin try to counterattack, by flipping backwards Chaozu takes a swing, but misses, when Krillin has landed on the ground. Krillin bounces back up, making Chaozu move down from Krillin's attack. Krillin flies into the air, with Chaozu still hovering over the ground. Krillin flips himself to land on the ground, while Chaozu lands too. Krillin then jumps to Chaozu, coming closer and closer, until finally disappearing!

Chaozu screams out, making Tenshinhan yell that he's on his left. Chaozu asks what's a left, but tries to remember. He looks at his hands, until finally looking to his left and Krillin's fist, which hits him in the face. The two begin to fight, with Krillin giving the punches, and Chaozu blocking them. Goku cheers Krillin on, until they finally reach the edge of the arena, in which Chaozu begins to float high into the air. Krillin curses him, saying to himself that it will be hard to defeat someone that can just fly around in the air. Jackie knows this move, saying that it's Bukujutsu, the Air Dance, a Tsurusennin technique. Tenshinhan asks how he knew that, making Goku yell out to mind his own business! The announcer informs those who can't look up, that Chaozu is now floating in the air. Krillin is trying to think hard to try and attack, but any move he would make, would risk him getting knocked out. Chaozu then asks a favor for Krillin to just stand right there, and then bringing his finger to his face, making a small light shine from it. Krillin asks what that is and getting the answer in the form of chi, in which Chaozu has fired the Dodon Pa!

The blast extends from Chaozu's finger to the ground, almost hitting Krillin, since he jumped away in time. Chaozu fills the arena with blasts, with Krillin asking how in the world can he do that? Goku recognizes the blast, saying that he Dodon Pa is Tao Pai Pai's trick! Tenshinhan hears Tao's name, looking over at Goku. Chaozu fires another blast at Krillin, making him dodge. Tenshinhan rushes Goku, asking how he knew the name Tao Pai Pai? Goku leaps off, saying that he fought Tao Pai Pai and killed him because he was a bad person. Tenshinhan repeats Goku's words, just to make sure he heard right, while Goku further explains that he had to and why would he want to know? Tenshinhan can only recollect memories of Tao, while gritting at Goku and leaving. Goku yells at him for what he wanted to know about Tao? Jackie walks up to Goku, asking if he really did do that? Goku tells him that he did and wouldn't lie about him. Jackie tells himself that this kid is really good and should tell him the awful news. He informs Goku, that Tao Pai Pai is Tsurusennin's younger brother! Goku is very shocked to hear this, repeating that they are brothers, eh? Krillin leaps around more and more, finally saying that the will no longer be pushed around! Chaozu declares himself the winner, while Tenshinhan tries to find his master.

Tenshinhan finally sees him, yelling out his name. He tells him that he has awful news, while his master asks what is so important than to miss his disciple's fight? While dodging Dodon Pa's, Krillin thinks to himself, that if Yamcha could perform the Kamehameha, then there is a good chance that he could too! But, while running away, he tells himself that he needs to test it first. He asks himself how did the stance go, trying to form his hands into a ball, until letting loose a small bit a chi. He dodges another blast, telling himself that he did it! But, while Krillin was doing this, Tenshinhan was informing Tsurusennin of Tao Pai Pai's death. Tsurusennin can't believe his ears, hearing that his own young brother died at the hands of one of Kamesennin's pupils! Tenshinhan suggests that the only way he could have done that, is if he came up and backstabbed him! Tsurusennin yells out that that can only be the obvious way, then yells for Chaozu to hurry up and kill the shrimp! Jackie stares on, seeing what was about to happen. But, he knows that Krillin will die, but whom was to blame? Chaozu then charges up another Dodon Pa, but even more powerful. Krillin then starts the Kamehameha chant, surprising Jackie at this. Goku is excited to see this, while Jackie tries to tell Krillin that no Kamehameha will work against any Dodon Pa! Chaozu charges up his finger, yelling out the first two syllables, while Krillin is just now on the verge of the last syllable, building up all his chi energy!
