Summary:

Young Tenshinhan
The announcer proudly announces that both Jackie Chun and Tenshinhan seem to be very much equal in strength and speed. This will be a close semi-finals match! Jackie then asks Ten why is he with the Crane Master? Tenshinhan replies that he had better shut up or he will make him shut up. Jackie asks how that kind of threat scares him, while Tenshinhan threatens him even more, by saying that he will go all out now! Jackie is clearly surprised, wondering why he isn’t so tired yet? Tenshinhan just laughs it off, while Krillin asks anyone who will answer, he wasn’t going all out before? Tenshinhan then puts his hands to face, with both hands near his cheeks. He spreads his fingers apart and gets ready to attack. Jackie wonders what’s going on, until Tenshinhan yells out its Tsurusennin’s Taiyoken, a blinding sun attack! A white light engulfs and pierces everyone’s eyes, making them where they can’t see! Jackie is total panic, saying that his eyes aren’t working! Tenshinhan then kicks the back of Jackie’s head, making him fall to the ground. Goku asks what’s going on and what happened to Jackie!? Tenshinhan explains that he is only in a coma, not dead. If he died, that would make him disqualified, of course.

The announcer agrees and with his sunglasses on, he could see the fight. So, he will count to ten, to see if Jackie gets up. Goku begs the old man to get up, while Tenshinhan stares at Jackie, wondering what will happen. At the number five, Jackie gets up, holding onto his neck. Goku tells Krillin that he can see just a little bit now, with Krillin agreeing. Tenshinhan ask how he did it, while Jackie explains that that hurt a lot! The announcer explains that Jackie was just blinded by Tenshinhan’s attack and then got up after being hit in the neck! Tsurusennin and Tenshinhan both agree, that they do not like this guy at all. Jackie explains that he should just leave his master! His skills are very great and could be even greater, if he joins good. That way, he would never fail! Tenshinhan told him to shut up, while trying to hit Jackie, saying he has no desire for such things! Tenshinhan starts hitting Jackie, while Jackie blocks every hit. Ten finally gets a good kick in, knocking Jackie back. Jackie wiped his face, asking why he was so angry? Ten told him to shut up, while Jackie taunted him back, saying that saying the truth is as good as lying! Goku and Krillin start up a conversation, asking how did Jackie survive that blinding light? The announcer questions it too, asking maybe he has sunglasses? Goku doesn’t seem to know, while Jackie further scolds Tenshinhan, saying that it is a shame to follow in your evil master’s footsteps!

Tsurusennin then yells out that he knows who the old man is! He sends a telepathic message to Tenshinhan, saying that the old man is Kamesennin! Tenshinhan is started to hear this, but then tells Jackie that he knows he’s the invincible old master! Jackie is now the surprised one, but tries to tell Ten that he enters these tournaments to teach his students, but they don’t know that. Tenshinhan tells him that he doesn’t care, but has something he wants to show him. Jackie asks if it’s naked photos of his girlfriend, making Tenshinhan yell out that that’s not it! He then puts his hands out, while saying the word, “Ka.” He then pronounces, “Me,” and, “Ha.”  Goku questions those phrases, while Jackie can’t believe it. Tenshinhan then finally concludes the chant, while letting loose a giant Kamehameha! Jackie told him that he was stupid, because it was going to hit the crowd! He puts his hands out, to block the blast, in which it finally connects and Jackie positions the Kamehameha upwards to the sky. Everyone can’t believe it, while the announcer explains that yet another fighter today has done the Kamehameha!

Goku is very impressed, while Krillin asks how can he do that, after only seeing it twice? Tenshinhan explained that he learns very fast, so all he had to do was see it, match it, and double it’s power. Jackie compliments him, saying that he really should join the side of good. Tenshinhan asks why Jackie just turned around, making Jackie say that the strong fighter that will beat him is coming. While jumping off the arena, Jackie announces that his turn is over. He lands on the ground, surprising everyone around him. The announcer slowly says ring out and that Tenshinhan is the winner! Jackie then grabs his coat, while humming his way back to the gymnasium. Tenshinhan asks why he did that, while Tsurusennin laughs at him, saying that he just couldn’t bare to lose by Tenshinhan. Tenshinhan then asks himself, if the old man was even trying before? While inside the gymnasium, Jackie reminds Goku and Krillin that they are next to fight now.
