Summary:

Preliminary Rounds Survival Part 2
King Chapo taunts Goku, saying that he has no chance for victory against him! Jackie Chun walks up, saying that that's King Chapo, surprising Yamcha. Jackie tells him that Goku is a great fighter, but this man is a much better fighter. Yamcha agrees, while Goku tells Chapo he'll attack first. Chapo smiles at him, while Jackie tells himself that even after three years of training, Goku can't compare to a great fighter such as that man. Goku then speeds himself to Chapo's chin, making his fist hit Chapo's chin. Chapo walks backwards in pain, surprising just about everyone in the gymnasium. Chapo rubs his face, saying that that was a good attack, but not good enough. Goku just laughs, making Chapo angry. Yamcha announces to everyone that he'll be more stern now! Jackie agrees, saying that he has the eight hand attack!

Yamcha questions him, explaining that he can move his hands so fast, that it creates the illusion of eight hands going at once! Chapo puts his hands out, telling Goku that he will win this fight now. He starts to go into the attack, moving his hands so fast, eight hands seem to appear. However, Goku is dodging every one! Chapo gets frustrated, while Yamcha and Krillin are both impressed to see Goku block so many punches so quickly. Finally, Goku kicks Chapo's ankle, making him all to the ground. Chapo goes into a rage, telling Goku that he is nothing but a brat! He then attacks wildly, trying to hit Goku, but he suddenly disappears. Chapo can't understand this, saying that he just vanished! Goku yells out that he's above him, making Jackie say that he is a mighty quick one! Yamcha asks how he did that, while all Chapo tells himself that he has no advantage in the air! So, while in the air, he'll attack and win this fight easily! Goku propels himself to the ceiling and bounces to the ground, flying wildly. Chapo sees him and tries to go in for a punch, yelling out that he's finished! Goku then screams one loud blast, slowing him down quickly. Chapo hits nothing but air, while Goku kicks Chapo, saying that he's been tricked! Everyone can't believe him, seeing Chapo fall out of the ring!

The referee announces that number 28 is winner by out of ring! Jackie compliments Goku, saying that he was able to hold himself in the air for long enough to dodge the punch and attack back! Yamcha wonders what happened, seeing that King Chapo is one of the greatest fighters. Goku is happy for himself, while Krillin asks if he ever doubted it? He compliments him, saying that he is one of the best fighters around here. Goku laughs, saying that it's nothing. He's going to win easily and hopefully won't kill anyone. He admits that he's been training very hard and hopes that he can make it the finals quickly, making Yamcha giggle just a bit in remorse. Jackie Chun looks at Goku, saying that he could even beat him if didn't try hard enough. Jackie then fights, hitting his fighter with great strength. Jackie apologizes, saying that he doesn't know his own strength. Goku is really happy, saying that he's gotten along greatly. Yamcha agrees, saying he'll be hard to beat in the finals. But this is the gymnasium and the finals will have special rules that they can abide by then.

So, after the preliminary fights, 182 fighters came and went, with Yamcha, Krillin, Goku entering the finals and Jackie advancing greatly, until finally... number 178, Jackie, has gone into the finals too with a knockout! Krillin is happy for this, while Yamcha tells Goku that he had better be on guard for the finals. Krillin asks Goku to come with him to tell the others, making Goku runs quickly with him. Outside, Bulma hears the good news, saying that all three of them are in the finals! Krillin asks where Muton Roshi went, making Bulma say that they kind of lost him the middle of the crowds. Suddenly, Kamesennin himself shows up, asking what's going on? He complains that everyone at the toilet were holding everything up! He wanted to more of the preliminary rounds. Krillin asks if he knows about the good news, making Kamesennin say that he knows, that all three are in the finals and is very proud. Yamcha tells him that they are, until an announcer asks for all eight contestants in the finals to please come back to the gymnasium to draw numbers. Before going, Krillin asks if there is any way for them to get closer? Oolong points to Lunch, saying she'll take care of it. Lunch pulls out a gun, saying that she can make them get closer. She fires off a couple rounds in the air, telling everyone to move or they'll get shot!
