Summary:

The Beam of Evil
Goku squares off against the Devil, with them both seeming very confident. Goku looks at Devil, saying he really doesn't seem strong. Devil curses him, saying that he is messing with the wrong person. Urani demands the fight to go now and to stop talking. Devil understands so he goes in for the attack. He tries to swipe at Goku's head, but Goku dodges quickly. Devil tries to kick Goku at the feet, but misses horribly by Goku jumping backwards. Goku lands and pushes himself to Devil, hitting Devil right in the face. Devil flies backwards, almost hitting the pool. He brings out his wings and flies back back. Panting and sweating, Devil tells him that it will take more than that to beat the Devil! Goku smiles, saying he was only testing him though, making Devil stammer out. Krillin yells out that he's no Devil, while Kamesennin says that it only seems that way. Kamesennin explains that the Devil is a two time champion at the Tenkaichi Budoukai and it seems Goku is stronger. Krillin and Yamcha are really impressed about hearing he's a two time champion, while Urani screams out that the Devil can do so much better than that! Devil smiles and acknowledges her, saying that he will perform his true power now.

Devil then puts both his index and middle finger together and puts both fists to his head, explaining that even the most good felt person has a drop of evil in their heart. He can make that evil expand and expand until finally it explodes! Goku tries to make sense of that, while Kamesennin screams out that Goku will die! Devil pushes his energy out of his fingers by doing a swirl of energy to Goku. Urani tells Devil he doesn't have to go that far, but it's too late. Goku is connected with the blast. The Devil laughs out loud evilly, telling the evil in his heart to grow more and more and then explode! Everyone fears for Goku, while Devil just makes boom and crash noises. But, nothing seems to happen to Goku. He stands around, asking what's going on. Devil looks at him, thinking that he must be not have any evil in his heart at all! The light disappears around Goku, making Urani ask what is he made of, since his heart is like a baby's or an animal's! Everyone is excited to see Goku alive, making Kamesennin say that his heart must be totally pure or his mind is a complete blank. Either way, he has been saved. Bulma looks at Kamesennin, asking how he would have taken that beam if he got him? Kamesennin tells her that she would just love to see him go, right?

Devil knows he can't win, but he can try to hurt Goku, so he pulls out a giant, sharp fork. He tries to stab Goku, but it always misses him. Goku tells him that using those weapons are cheating, so he will just have to get serious. Devil and Goku stare at each other for a while, until finally, Goku goes in for a fast kick. The kick becomes a blur, almost like lightening, creating a huge blast of light. When done, we see Goku on the ground, and the Devil in the wall, with his lower half hanging out. Goku thinks he overdid it, while Urani has humongous bug eyes. Kamesennin even goes as far to say that he didn't see that at all, which means Goku has unbelievable speed!
