T O P I C :::: Kyle had a general, with a uniform as White as snow... ^_^

¤ 1) Kyle Hebert added General White and Okubo (Yu Yu Hakusho - did Kyle tell us he'll be playing him, or am I missing something?) to the voice credits page on his site. He doesn't have the voice clips for them yet, though, so we're gonna have to wait on them for a while. Oh, yeah, and as for the voice clips he DOES have, he changed them into Flash files.
2) Well, THIS is unexpected! Besides just putting up Toonami files all the time, Toonami: Digital Arsenal has started reporting real, actual Toonami news now. O_O You'll find it at the top of the page. It's called "InfoLink." You only need one guess how it got its name...
3) Dave Thomas (the founder of Wendy's, NOT the guy who was interviewed on Space Ghost: Coast to Coast) passed away today at the age of 69. My condolences go out to his chicken sandwiches and those ever-so-tasty Frosties. Mmmmmmm... Frosties... ^_^
::Snaps back to reality:: Uh... Where was I? Oh, yeah. He was a really great guy...

¤ The heroic legend from the future's voice actor has changed his name by reccomendation by his agent to "Cornelius Fantasium Blue Stratavali Molton Ton Kaiser the Third" jk. Eric Johnson's name was actually changed to "Eric Vale" to avoid confusion with another famous actor of the same previous name. Eric's name originally was also Christopher at one point. I will let you guys know if autographs of the previous name will be going up! Also in a similar topic Chevy Chase's name was originally "Cornelius Chase". Why am I telling you this? Because one day it will come up on Jeopardy and you can yell out "DANIEL KURLAND TOLD ME THAT!!"

¤ The ZStore has updated again wtih the next two Majin Buu releases Revival and Tactics. Click the links for the episode names and covers. Just some average screenshots which really aren't that pleasing although Tactics cover is not that terrible. Just a reminder both of these have a February 12th release date.
Kara Edwards has also updated her website with more links and pictures in her portfolio section.
Some small toy news as well. The ZStore has an exclusive metallic paint of Android 16 as well as SSJ Trunks. The toys are the same price of the original product, just a bit shinier. Well. That's the news and now you can sleep easy once again.
FUNimation has also juse added Cell Games: Games Begin and Cell Games: Surrender to their online store.

¤ Due to reasons unknown (or probably no reason at all), FUNimation decided to delay the chat with Justin Cook (you know, one of the Celeb Chat guys that no one really cares about :P ) to Jan. 24. Instead, this Thursday, we'll be getting someone more important: SEAN SCHEMMEL!
For you guys that are only familiar with the Ocean Group dub and know nothing about FUNimation's cast, Sean does the voice of Goku, King (North) Kai, and Nail.

¤ Critical Mass, the adult anime subdivision of Right Stuf International, has announced that they have acquired the American translation and distribution rights to the Vanilla Series. Similar to the Cream Lemon, Cool Devices and Secret Anima Series, the Vanilla series is a currently ongoing series of multiple OAV series from different creators. Some of the numerous releases under the Vanilla Series label include Tetsuya Ohno's entertaining 4 episode Mei-King, and Masami (Virus, Gokaiser) Obari's current series Angel Blade. The Vanilla Series episodes Kouin Tenshi, Mechiku, and Ikenie have already been translated by Media Blasters as Co-Ed Affairs, Office Affairs, and Sins of the Flesh.
The first domestic release will be the 2 episode Bondage Mansion (Kinbaku no Yakata). While each episode was released in Japan on censored VHS & DVD at 6,800 yen per episode, Critical Mass will release both episodes on uncensored bilingual DVD and dubbed VHS on March 26 at $24.95 and $19.95 respectively.

¤ As most of you have known FUNimation has decided to drop the prices of the Captain Ginyu through Android Sagas to only $14.95 which is a good price for those DVDs. FUNimation also said they plan to make box sets of the following:
New Dragon Ball DVDs (including Sleeping Princess...)
DB: Tournament VHS Boxset
DBZ: Imperfect Cell Saga VHS Boxset
DBZ: Perfect Cell Saga VHS Boxset
DBZ: Garlic Jr. Saga VHS/DVD Boxset
DBZ: Androids Saga VHS/DVD Boxset
DBZ: Captain Ginyu Saga DVD Boxset
DBZ: Frieza Saga DVD Boxset
DBZ: Trunks Saga DVD Boxset
So if boxsets are your fetish, this recent bit of news should have you gasping for air. Oh yes, the term "anime" was also just added to the dictionary. Credit goes out to Noah Kurland for that tidbit.

¤ Remember last month when I reported that DBZ will be taken off Toonami? Well, if you haven't visited Cartoon Network's website lately, you'll notice that it's only going off for a week. Here's the latest from them:
The twin titans of tights face off on Toonami to see which superhero is more powerful during BATMAN vs. SUPERMAN. Every night, Monday, January 21-Friday, January 25, Toonami will air back-to-back episodes of Batman: The Animated Series and Superman from 6-7 p.m. (e/p). All week long, fans will be able to go to Toonami.com to play an exclusive online game and vote for their favorite superhero. On Saturday, January 26, the Caped Crusader and the Man of Steel will return for a seven-hour superhero marathon from 1-7 p.m. (e/p). At 5 p.m. on Saturday, the winner of the online vote will be revealed and the final two hours of BATMAN vs. SUPERMAN will be dedicated to the victorious superhero.

¤ Yep, just another reason why I wish I lived in Texas. Here is the article extracted from the Official DBZ Website:
"Friday January 11th, on the University of Texas at Arlington (UTA) campus FUNimation is showing a special sneak preview of the Dragon Ball Z movie Cooler's Revenge; but that's not all. Blue Gender Volume 1 and Yu Yu Hakusho will also be on the big screen. This will be the first public viewing of Yu Yu Hakusho in the US. Festivities kick off in University Center Theatre at 7 pm and will last until around 11 pm. This special event is free, open to the public, and seats are on a first come first serve basis. In between shows you can pick up some cool merchandise at discounted prices.
It's an anime evening you won't want to miss. Stay plugged in here for info on when a screening may be in your area."
Looks like another worthwhile event and deed of kindness done by our friends at FUNimation.
