According to an entry from Kage-chan official site, There will be another DBZ reunion concert to celebrate the 20th anniversary of DragonBall. Also, according to, DaizEX is reporting that Hironobu Kageyama will be performing the main vocals on the new opening theme to DragonBall Z: Budokai 3 and YUKA and KÛKO are performing back-up vocals on the same track.

- Linkin Parks Anime Video - (Breaking the Habit) wins the most prestigious music video award of the night; MTVs Viewers Choice Awards. Linkin Park immediately thanked “Gonozo Studio” for the animation up on the stage, and by doing so put Gonzo on the map.
Surely this anime video opened the eyes of the public to Japanese anime. We want to thank all SzR fans and anime fans how voting for their video. Linkin Park video was animated by Gonzo Studio's. Gonzo's finniest accomplishment for animation and production include Hellsing, Gantz, Kiddy Grade, Samurai 7, Kill Bill, AniMatrix etc..

--- Dranet, has a new flash file trailer released by Dimp's Japanese website about the new Budokai 3 game comming out November 18th 2004 for PS2 console. It has all the same old characters and scenes but with higher quality than the Gamespro trailers. It doesn't look like an official professional trailer, but you can enjoy the high quality graphics.

Kyle Hebert VA to Gohan has confirmed that ther will be no No English dub on the DBGT: Final Bout re-release. He went on to say that Final Bout is ultra-rare (only 10,000 were released in the U.S. in the mid 90s), and finally they are re-releasing more. Click Here.

- Namco Nation has Licensed The Original Dragonball Z Theme Song 'Rock the Dragon' for their new PS2 game the 'Taiko: Drum Master'; which will be released in late 2004.

In related news, Pharcyde a hip-hop group released their new album last month, July 2004, called Humboldt Begginings. Akira Toriyama's Dragonball Z got mentioned in one of their rap songs. The lyrics said something about -- ''strong weed punching you in the chest like Dragon Ball Z''. I'll have more on that later.

Also, in minor news we found an other famous celebrity / NFL player who is a huge DBZ fan. Its PA Eagles safety Quintin Mikell. Here is a quote from an August 3rd 2004 article:

- Anime News Network reports that:- the newest Naruto movie; which hit Japanese theaters this past weekend on August 21st, 2004 debuted as the No. 1 movie at the Japanese Box Office. - Izlude pointed out yesterday that Dragon Ball GT: Final Bout is getting a re-released for Playstaion One Platform by Atari.
The original older version of Final Bout was released back in 1997, but these days its really hard to find a copy of the game, hence the re-release. The game is being released in limited quantities with exclusive cover art from Toei Animation. So if you want to get your hands on it preorder now.
