Dragon Ball Z: Budokai has an official release date of December 17 2002. Very nice game, It looks pretty good from the screenshots I have seen. -Subject: I'm moving to the UK
Posted on Monday, September 23 2002 -=- By {-Sam-} drop me a line
-According to salfinal71 UK is getting a new channel called CNX which is a branch off Cartoon Network aimed totally for adult males. Think of it as Adult Swim, but a whole new channel. It'll be showing a lot of animes and that includes uncencored DBZ, they'll be finishing the fusion saga on that channel too. Looks like UK DBZ is miles ahead of the American DBZ. I'm sure we will get something like that in the future. -=- Sam.

-Subject: My God Big News
Posted on Saturday, September 21 2002 -=- By {-SzR-} drop me a line
-Okay sorry this isn't in the comm. News area but it is big news. Oh the comm. news page does work.
www.dbgt.com has been hacked and possibly by ENGEL. If you don't know Engel he owned DBZORG. This is fishy because most of you know I too am a network security specialist and a lot of my BHat hackers are emailing me about this. I also am getting money offers from people to attack DBGTN.com and suprisingly enough it is not RUBEN asking. I don't know whats going on. I REFUSE to Hack Frank he is a personal friend so no worries there (altough the people contacting me is willing to pay good money) I ain't no sell out. Well as my team (Red Hack Team) finds out what is going on I will let the community know. I hear it wasn't an exploit or buffer overflow, It's been said it was an old FTP login that did it.

NOW for this site. The php that we wrote is giving us a hard time so content is gonna take a little longer. I am re-coding all the content and it should be up shortly. Also to my AFFILIATES that have not been listed I AM GONNA LIST you the bottom of the layout did not come out as planned so I am fixing it and you will all be in that area.
I also have been getting emails about some of my affiliates cheating on hits and action is gonna be taken. Well look forward to more news and updates as today is a busy day in the Community -=- SzR.

-Subject: First 3 DBZ Movies Will Not To Be Re-Dubed.
Posted on Thursday, September 19 2002 -=- By {-Sam-} drop me a line
-According to Kyle Hebert the Voice Actor of Adult Gohan, Funimation will not be redubbing the first 3 movies. They are already uncut. Also, if you didn't already hear distribution rights to the first two American seasons of Dragonball Z (eps. 1 to 53) will revert to FUNimation from Pioneer in 2004, at which time the roughly 15 episodes edited out of the American version will be restored, re-dubed, and re-scripted for uncensored, bilingual home video release. -=- Sam.

-Subject: New opening
Posted on Thursday, September 19 2002 -=- By {-SzR-} drop me a line

I have officialy made it the topsite of Saiyanz Rage. It already has more than 200+ members. Join quick people the button is located on the bottom left of this page. -=- SzR.

-Subject: The "teaser" Poster is Real..
Posted on Sunday, September 15 2002 -=- By {-Sam-} drop me a line
-Many Anime Magazines including Beckett DBZ Magazine's September 2002 issue Volume 3 of 9 and online movie sites, are now reporting that this is the official "teaser" poster for the Dragonball Live Action Movie.

Also a few months ago ING reported that the layout of the poster is not in the usual one-sheet proportions, meaning that if it's real, it's probably some kind of special banner. On the one hand, the graphic design work is far above the usual fan-made fare – clearly the work of a professional designer. The poster also includes a jazzy new "DBZ" monogram that is so typical of the inscrutable alphanumeric tags Hollywood and TV producers like sticking on movies and shows these days. -=- Sam.

-Subject: Interview with Gen Fukunaga
Posted on Friday, September 13 2002 -=- By {-Sam-} drop me a line
-ICv2 has published an exclusive interview with the President of FUNimation Productions. ICv2 bascily got the same info i did a few days back, when i talked to FUNi and CN. Here are some Important Notes from the Interview:

Q#1: What about the remaining episodes?

A#1: It's going to be done in two stages. First we will air the 53 shows, and then the last mini-saga that we haven't processed yet will probably be shown in the spring [of 2003].

Q#2: Is it true that you are getting the home video rights back from Pioneer for the first series of Dragon Ball shows?

A#2: Eventually, I think we will get them back in 2004.

Q#3: What is the situation with the third Dragon Ball series, Dragon Ball GT?

A#3: Nothing is set in stone, but our current plan is to start releasing the home videos in spring of next year (2003) and to put it on the Cartoon Network later, something like the summer of 2004. We are going to hold it off on the Cartoon Network and get it out on video first.

To read all the questions go here. If you have been visiting Saiyanz Rage for the past month. We have reported all the news form the interview, weeks ago. So its nothing new, just an official announcement. -=- Sam.

-Subject: Dragonball Z Voice Actress Interview
Posted on Wednesday, September 11 2002 -=- By {-Sam-} drop me a line
-Project Neko has published an short interview with American dub voice actress Stephanie Nadolny, the voice of Son Goku in Dragonball and Son Gohan in Dragonball Z.

The only thing worth mentionning from the interview is that, Stephanie Nadolny will be the voice of young Goku in Dragonball GT. Looks like FUNimation is getting ready to dub DBGT.

-Subject: Cartoon Network Confirms 39 Episodes Only.
Posted on Monday, September 9 2002 -=- By {-Sam-} drop me a line
-Contradicting to what other DBZ site are reporting, CN Reps have informed me that only 39 new episodes will be airing starting September 16th, at 6:30 PM (EST/PST). This means that there are approximately 14 or 15 episodes left. As of now, Cartoon Network has not released any information on the remaining 14 episodes. Although broadcasting DBZ eps is strictly a Cartoon Network matter and has nothing to do with FUNimation, I have received official confirmation from both parties Cartoon Network and FUNimation.

Cartoon Network's Response: - “If we aired an commercial that states that we will be airing 39 new episodes then we will air 39 episodes.”

FUNimation's Response: - “I checked with the production to verify the number of episodes. The most recent commercial from Cartoon Network is correct: 39 new episodes.”

There you have it guys. I wish, it wasn't this way but it is. Don't worry Cartoon Network will air the remaining 14 episodes soon (rumor: Spring 2003). I'll let you guys know when CN officially announces to broadcast the last 14 episodes. -=- Sam.
