Server Status | 02/02/2004 | Gogeta
|
|
Alright, here's the deal. As we are approaching the end of our one-year contract with our web host, rather than renew it right away, we are going to be upgrading our servers a bit. This means a few things for you. First, at some point within the next few days, we are going to experience some down time as the server is set up and the domain transfered. All files and databases have been backed up.
For those of you who submit games to the site, I've shut down that option so that you don't lose your file(s) when we go live again. It'll be back as soon as the transfer is finished; hopefully with some new features ;). Also, we have a few more sections to put up, which I'm also waiting for the transfer for.
Our friends at Encore Software have shipped us a prerelease version of Spellforce, a sweet looking RTS/RPG hybrid, so you can expect some goodies on that, and on Silent Storm, soon after the upgrade.

'My Games' Fixed | 01/01/2004 | Gogeta
|
|
Sorry for the delay, college and Halo are demanding... but the 'My Games' control pannel should be fully functional again. I've also thrown in the ability to upload your own box shots. Obviously I'm trusting you all to follow the rules (which I'll lay out more clearly soon) as far as uploading or linking images, so we'll see how you all handle it and it may or may not be kept that way.
More soon, Happy New Year.

Spike TV's 2003 VGAs | 12/05/2003 | Kannebas

Spike TV likes to play video games as well. So, why not start an annual award show? The program took place last night at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas and I, of course, have an article written for you describing some of the events that took place and of course the games that took home awards. Click here to read my article. Peace out.

Just saw the topic Blank Name posted about Isabel (a little late, I admit =P ). So, having gone without power for five days, I added a little of my story as well... anyone else who was affected, you're can post yours there. Hope everyone made it alright. All I can say is, Halo doesn't work without power >:(
