Subject: Tutorials and What We Use Posted By: Alpha044 Posted On: 06.12.2003 @ 23:01 The tutorials page is now up. Currently there are 3 tutorials. One for SSI, one for CSS, and one for Good and Bad stuff. The "What We Use" page is also up. In it you will find the name and URL's the the homepages of scripts that SA uses. Hope these will be of help to you... Alpha044 Subject: Something Anime v.2 and content... Posted By: Alpha044 Posted On: 06.11.2003 @ 18:51 Version two is now up and running thanks to Saul's help and webdesigning abilities. I hope you like the layout. I updated every single anime except Dragonball Z/GT and Escaflowne. There should be a few images in each of them. There are a couple of new link buttons up, so if you have linked to SA, then please update our button. A few sections will still give you an error when you go to them because I didn't have anything for them yet. I will try to fix that up soon. Alpha044 Subject: Something Anime Version 2.0 Posted By: Saul Vasquez Posted On: 06.11.2003 @ 00:28 Welcome all to Something Anime Version 2.0! You like? We just set everything up so don't be surprised if you come across a broken link or something of that sort. All info should still be here, and alot of old content is being upgraded to look and act better. More later... Subject: Online PHP Quiz Maker Posted By: Alpha044 Posted On: 06.10.2003 @ 12:12 Well, when I was learning PHP yesterday, it occured to me how to make a PHP Quiz. Then it occured to me how to make a script to make a PHP quiz. So..... I made that script that I thought of. You can access it by clicking on "Online PHP Quiz Maker" under webmasters, or you can go here.... http://www.theanimesite.com/quizmaker. You can use it to make quizes for your site if you have PHP support. If you use this script, I would greatly appreciate it if you would send me an email with the URL to you site so I can see how people use the quizes. On other news.... Saul Vasquez is back again. He has assumed his old possition as the Something Anime Webdesigner. He is currently working on a new layout which looks and works awesome. Alpha044 Subject: Fanart Posted By: Alpha044 Posted On: 06.07.2003 @ 20:04 I split up fanart and the oekaki. Now there is a link to the oekaki under Fandom and a link to where you can submit fanart and comment about other submitted fanart. Hope you like the new fanart script thing.... Alpha044 Subject: Some good and bad news about Rurouni Kenshin Posted By: Alpha044 Posted On: 06.04.2003 @ 16:42 Well, today Viz announced that they will release the Rurouni Kenshin mangas in English in November. That's the good news, now the bad news is that Spamdini will now have to stop translating the mangas, and I will have to take them off of the site. :'( Yeah... Ok, more good news though. Spamdini has decided to work on the Escaflowne manga instead. I'll put those up once he gets around to it. Well, hope you enjoyed the RK mangas while they last, and when they come out please try to buy the ones you have not read so that you will help the anime community. Alpha044 Subject: New Oekaki for Fanart Posted By: Alpha044 Posted On: 06.04.2003 @ 10:23 I just set up an Oekaki for people who want to submit and discuss fanart and any of their art. The URL to it is http://www.theanimesite.com/oekaki, but if you look under Fandom in the left nav bar your will find a link to it... Hope people like it and post! Alpha044 Subject: New Guestbook Up Posted By: Alpha044 Posted On: 06.03.2003 @ 13:05 Well, I was looking at SA's guesbook, and I got tired of the ads at the top. So, I looked around for a guestbook script and I found this one. I just finished setting it up, so go check it out and sign it http://www.theanimesite.com/guestbookAlpha044 Subject: Downloads Posted By: Alpha044 Posted On: 06.02.2003 @ 20:58 yup, I updated everyone's favorite downloads section.... Another RK download this week, I may put up a Hellsing one next week if I can find one.. Alpha044 Subject: Love Hina Posted By: Alpha044 Posted On: 05.29.2003 @ 18:52 I just put up some more Love Hina pics that I got from Ravenn. There are 74 total now. I also updated the staff page to update Ravenn's position and to add Iceghost... Alpha044 Subject: 3 New Buttons Posted By: Alpha044 Posted On: 05.27.2003 @ 23:13 I had way too much fun making 3 pretty similar new buttons. They are the show off the RK Mangas that SA has.As you can see, they are really basically the same, but not. If you use them then link them to http://www.theanimesite.com/rkmangasbecause that is what they are for. Alpha044 |
