Lamest news in DBZGT-Legacy history

Happy late Thanksgiving, Z-fans!! I hope yours wasn't as boring as mine. Oh well, at least the turkey was good.
Now for the news:
(source: Official dbz site)
--Wanna unlock the secrets of Atari's new Budokai 2? Well the iGuides are for you! Basically, it's just a strategy guide, except online and interactive. It gives you the weaknesses and strong points of all the characters, plus official cheats from the guys at Atari themselves. There's also a Driver 3 iGuide out on the web.
And:
At any Gamestop retail store, when you buy any DB/Z/GT product with a minimum of $19.99, you get a free card from Score's DBZ CCG.
Also from the official site, there's an interview with YYH's developer/designer. It also includes a question and answer session from Anime Expo 2003. You can either download it from the site, or watch it on the upcoming Yu Yu Hakusho release "Deadly Toguro".
They've also got an exclusive interview with Budokai 2 developers in Japan. Come see a preview of how the smash-sequal was created, or catch the full version on DBGT #10: "Revelations" on December 30th.
DragonballZ.com has also (finally) posted the Super 17 saga summaries and episode guide. This is what you call a "short but sweet" saga. It only has a few eppies, but in them, there's a Tenkaichi Budoukai, a union of foes, and an explosive fight.
Goodnight, folkz...LATER!!!

FUNi -- The Cheapest Publicity Stunt Ever
Posted by Tapion on 11-27-2003 03:12
The Official Site has posted news about an ASK SHENRON CONTEST, where, if you win, you'll be "granted" with anything you wish for from the Zstore catalog.
I agree, this does sound kind of cool. But doesn't it seem kind cheap to you, seeing as most of the items there are from about 20 to 30 bucks? And keep in mind, you only get one of these items.
Yes, yes, I signed up. And you probably will too. But with a company who has a huge property like Dragonball Z under its wing, don't you think they can cough up a little bit more than just $20?

Red Ribbon Chronicles
Posted by Tapion on 11-23-2003 09:36
Ladies 'n Gentlemen, we have a new fanfic. Or...at least I do anyway. It's part one of a three-part trilogy on the efforts of the R/R gang at eradication (hehee, sounds like erection) of the Saiyans. And yes, there are all new villains, with explosive attatcks and twisting plots not normally seen in regular DB.
You see, I wrote these things in August through September, but I had to format, re-format, write, rewrite, make changes, take out details, and put in details that help the stories to better "fit in" to the Dragonball storyline.
Here's the prob: I was cleaning out my hard-drive and accidently deleted the folder with my fanfics. Luckily, I had them all (except one) saved on a CD-R. The "long-lost" finale to the Red Ribbon Chronicles is now floating around in cyberspace-purgatory. Looks like this Chapter of the Z warriors will be long gone forever.
Except for these two:
DB: R/R-C -- Saga #1 "Gohan's Vengeance"
DB:R/R-C -- Saga #2 "The New Saiyan Era"
DB:R/R-C -- Saga #3...???
I can't remember much, but it had something to do with New Namek, the Neo-Red Ribbon Army, and Goku & Trunks getting warped into the future by a Namekian oracle to save the greenies once more.
Oh well...just read this first saga for now. I'll post the second saga around Christmas or New Year's.

Another new video.
Posted by Master Roshi on 11-16-2003 13:44
Well, first off, I'm really sorry for not posting too much. Bah, school, etc...I'm not even gonna bother mentioning everything going on right now. What, with mid-terms and all...But, in my spare time, I've managed to whip up another new music video. Last time I got a good amount of positive feedback, and a fair amount of not-so-positive feedback. I'll be posting it tomorrow, or some time next week. It depends on when I get the time.. It's a dragonball z movie 8 video using the song "I Won't Lie Down" by Face to Face. Just thought I'd like you know that I'm still alive and still doing stuff for this fantastic site. Anyway, back to work it is for me, so later everyone. Peace \\//

I have been having some problems with my email lately. Anyone who has sent in fanfics that were not yet posted, please re-send. Thanks.
Also, I was able to make some corrections to the Age Chart, thanks to Goten031 who notified me of a few errors. Keep sending!
And now, cover time! These GT DVDS #11 & #12 are to be released in February:

Lookin Good....
Bandai and FUNimation have informed us that their newest titles on Cartoon Network, SD Gundam Force and Dragonball GT respectively, have been pulling in some amazing ratings. The debut of Dragon Ball GT pulled in a whopping 9.7 for males 9-14 and an impressive 8.6 for males 6-11. Meanwhile, in the latest Nielson ratings, SD Gundam Force pulled in a very respectable 6.3 with males 6-11, but more importantly also pulled in the same 6.3 rating in the household category.

Well, that's pretty amazing. Anyone who knows anything about tv ratings knows that a 9.7 for a cable tv show is almost unheard of.....but it surprises me that people actually watch SD gundam.... *sigh* looks like we'll be seeing that on the schedule for a while.
