VEGETA:
The Prince of all Saiyans, Vegeta is an elite class Saiyan. Proud and arrogant, Vegeta believes himself to be the true Saiyan. He is always competing with Goku, whom he calls Kakarot, in strength and sometimes goes to extreme measures to surpass Goku. Being with Frieza, Vegeta has a seemingly cold and hard-stoned heart with no compassion for the weak, but he slowly changes from the onceDark Prince that he used to be to a family man. But unlike Gohan, he does not lose his touch with fighting and is constantly training. He belives that a true Saiyan should be prepared even during times of peace and should always be ready for the unexpected.
Settling in earth with Bulma and having two kids, Vegeta's heart changes from cold and dark to a sentimetal one. He acts as if he does not care for Bulma and Trunks in the Dragonball Z series, but he actually sacrifices his own life for them in the Majin Buu saga to destroy Majin Buu.(Unfortunately his sacrifice goes to vain)Vegeta also goes to an extreme measure in the same saga and goes to the dark side- all of this to surpass Goku. But when he learns that Goku had hid the Super Saiyan 3 level from him, he refuses to fuse with Goku, later on in the saga, to once again destroy Majin Buu. But later, he accepts the fact that his Saiyan race is gone and its time to start a new one. He even pays a tribute to Goku in the Kid Buu saga and accepts the fact that Goku is indeed stronger than him.
Vegeta spent over a quarter of his lifetime with the tyrant, Frieza. But he didn't even know that it was Frieza who killed his father, King Vegeta. Frieza, in the Frieza saga, kills Vegeta and Vegeta explains his life story to Goku before he dies and encourages Goku to kill Frieza once and for all.
Vegeta is hot tempered at most times and is very serious, but sometimes he can get real funny too. He plays an important role in both Dragonball Z and GT. He is the third strongest fighter in the universe and is the second-last pure blooded Saiyan to be alive. He fuses three time in total in all the series combined- First to form Vegetto in the Majin Buu saga and then to form Gogeta, the fusion dance way. Vegeta is a great tactician and is intelligent in strategies unlike Goku. He takes his fights seriously, but sometimes is over-confident. But his pride is what keeps him going and keeps him training constantly.
