Trunks
Special
The androids
are inflicting further damage into the already unrepairable city. #18 tells #17
that the city is already destroyed as much as it will ever be, so they might as
well go kill some more humans elsewhere. She comments that there should be a
bunch of them hiding up north. As she says this, some rubble moves behind her,
and out crawls a helpless old man, after he somehow survived the destruction
caused. Instantaneously, and without thinking, #18 holds out her finger, and
blasts the recovering man, killing him outright. #17 is reluctant to leave, as
he doesn’t want to kill all the humans too quickly, as there would be no fun
in it. As he says this, Gohan bursts onto the scene, and gives him a
sturdy kick which sends him flying into some buildings. Gohan stands
face-to-face with the evil #18. From out of a pile of rubble comes #17, after
recovering from the attack that Gohan did. His clothes are torn, and #18 laughs
at him, claiming that he looks funny. #17 is angry at Gohan now, and he and #18
surround the super Saiyan, telling him that they are going to fight at full
power this time, and eventually kill him after all of the trouble that he has
caused them. They advance on him slowly, but Gohan isn’t intimidated. He tells
them that they may destroy his body, but his spirit will always live on. The two
androids make a charge, and Gohan powers up a ball of energy in his hand, and
throws it against the ground, causing a huge cloud of smoke. He then flies
upwards, buying him a few seconds as it takes the androids that long to notice
him. They fly up with him, slightly faster than him due to Gohan’s unstable
condition. The androids charge up energy blasts, but Gohan manages to avoid
these, and then catches #18’s fist as she attacks. HE is helpless to block
#17’s attack though, because he only has one arm. He is knocked down to the
ground, in incredible agony. He jumps away, just before #18 and #17 can pound
him when he’s down though, and he shoots an energy beam at them both. The two
androids counter by doing a joint one of their own, and with a lot of effort,
Gohan manages to overpower their beam, knocking them backwards. He then charges
in, and dodges a blast from #17, then hits #18 down to the ground, catching her
before she collides with the floor, lifting her into the air, then shooting down
at a massive speed, and slamming her head into a building, making it’s
foundations crumble. Somehow, both of the androids manage to get up, although
they are looking some what deteriorated. A flash of lightning bursts down from
the sky, and is accompanied by rain, showing pathetic empathy.
Gohan stands
face-to-face with the two androids, confident about his chances of winning. The
two androids however, are running out of ideas, as they go to a last resort by
using everything that they had left inside of them. They both charged at him,
and he struggled to fight them off with only one hand. Gohan tries to get some
punches of his own in, but is unable, as it is four arms against one. He is
being hit from an array of different angles, and really taking punishment. He is
tripped up as he tries to block, and barely manages to regain his balance before
he is destroyed. Gohan then takes off into the air, zooming between two flats,
and being pursued closely by the androids. They both fire a blast in front of
him, which stops him in his tracks, and forces him to cover his face from
falling rubble. The androids then catch up with him, and pound him down to the
ground. Gohan looks up from his position on the floor, just in time to see the
androids rain down with energy beams on him. Gohan screams out in pain, as the
battle comes to a defiant conclusion.
A small
distance away, Trunks awakes, screaming out Gohan’s name, somehow knowing what
is happening on the battlefield. Trunks gets to his feet, and looks around the
collection of rubble and smoke. He tries to sense Gohan, but he has no KI left,
so Trunks goes down to the city to investigate. He floats over the city, with
the rain beating down hard, in search of his master – Gohan. Eventually, he
sees him, flat on the floor, with no energy left in him. Trunks lands, and walks
up to him, fearing the worst, but hoping for the best. Dramatic music plays in
the background, as Trunks nears his destination. Tears start to pour down his
eyes as he realizes that the inevitable has finally happened. His walk breaks
into a run, as he is desperate to know what the outcome of the fight was. He
runs over to Gohan, and sees that his masters face is in the water, and has been
for some time. Trunks refuses to believe that Gohan could possibly be finished,
so he shakes him a bit, shouting his name out, but unsurprisingly, Gohan remains
lifelessly on the floor. Trunks begins screaming Gohan’s name some more, as
the bitter rain floods down onto him, making the situation seem somehow worse
than it already was. Trunks can’t believe that it has really happened. Gohan
is dead. Trunks screams out with anger, clenching his fists tightly. His rage
intensifies as he continues to scream out loudly. The androids have gone too far
now that they have killed Gohan. Trunks stands up, and begins to yell with rage,
trying to let it all out. His hair flashes blonde, then his eyes turn green. His
shouting gets louder, as his hair stands on end, and turns a golden blonde.
Tears stream down his eyes as he finally becomes the super Saiyan that Gohan
told him he would. The rain pours down on Trunk’s head, as Gohan lays down,
motionless, and finally he has passed away.
