Information: A Review on Dragonball
 DRAGONBALL Z:
Dragonball Z now has grown to be one of the most popular anime in the whole world. Even though it is a bit hard-to-believe and is getting older, it still manages to entertain the viewer. Dragonball/ Z/ GT is all about power and saving the world and of course, most importantly, the dragonballs. But as everyone might know, Dragonball, the first and original series, is of a comedic genre and its not much action. Dragonball is all about Goku and how he grows to be one of the strongest fighter on earth. But thats it about Dragonball except for the fact that we meet many of the familiar faces that we see in Dragonball Z in Dragonball.
Dragonball Z is utterly different. Dragonball Z is about Goku and about his life and how he ascends to different levels of power during his life-span; how he ascends to the legendary Super Saiyan; how he battles evil foes who threaten the safety of the earth. He is accompanied by another saiyan named vegeta, his best frend, Krillin, his son Gohan and also the once evil Piccolo. Join Goku and all of his friends as they meet with new disasters and foes along their lifetime and also excel in new fields of martial arts and ascend to newer and higher levels of power. The series is one that should not be missed. The original Dragonball Z series contains 291 episodes and also 13 full-length movies.
Ratings:
Animation: 3.5 Even though the animation is good and is pretty real-looking, many other animes are having better animation than Dragonball Z. Yes, Akira Toriyama did do a great job on the animation, but compared to the newer animes, Dragonball Z has an unreal animation. But yet, the fighting sequences and the exlposions are excellent and the fights are one that should not be missed.
Action: 5.0 The action in this anime is wonderful in my opinion. Its always full of action and battles take place almost everytime with huge explosions and strong attacks. These attacks are one of a kind and I enjoy them myself. Its not connected with guns and machines, but its kungu-fu style of action.
Violence: 2.0 There isn't much violence in Dragonball Z except for some scenes of hands and heads being ripped off. Other than that there isn't much blood that kids aren't supposed to watch.
Music and Sound: 4.0 The music is pretty good in both the Japanese and the USA series. The theme music of the first two sagas, the Rock the Dragon theme, is considered sometimes as dull. But as the series goes on, the background music becomes better and better. The background music of the Cell Games Saga and the Fusion Saga is excellent and is worth listening to. But the background music of the Japanese series is just as good.
