CELL:
Cell is the first fully bio-mechanical android created by Dr.Gero. Hes unlike the other androids and his source of strength is the energy of other people. Cell is one android that can't be defeated easily because his strength lies in his cunning-ness and his attacks. Cell knows all of the Z fighters' attacks and techniques because he contains the cells and genes of the greatest fighters of the universe including Frieza, Goku, Piccolo, Tien, Krillin and Vegeta. Having the cells of Piccolo gives Cell the power to regenerate as long his head stays safe, the cells of the Saiyans gives him to power up hugely when he is near death, the cells of Frieza gives him the ability to withstand almost any attack and the cells of the other Z fighters gives him the ability to do their signature attacks.
Cell has three fighting forms- His Imperfect Form #1, Imperfect Form #2 and Perfect Form. In his Imperfect Form #1, he is weaker than the newly rejuvenated Kamicollo(Piccolo + Kami), Goku and Vegeta. But in this form, he is cunning, he reveals to the Z fighters his mission and his ability to perform the Z fighters' attacks. He arrives on the battlefield of the Androids and Piccolo. He cunningly manages to absorb Android #17. Absorbing Android #17 transforms Cell into Imperfect Cell Form #2. In this form, he is stronger than anyone on earth. Piccolo, Vegeta, Goku- noone stands a chance against him. Vegeta and Trunks, after training in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber, appear and go directly to the battlefield. Cell offers Vegeta the battle of his lifetime. In return, he asks for handing over Android #18. Vegeta, as usual, is tempted by the offer and hands over Android #18. Absorbing Android #18, Cell reaches his Perfect Form. Cell is ready to fight the Vegeta and the vice versa. Vegeta starts to fight Cell, but he soon finds that he is clearly outclassed. Cell then announces that he will be holding a tournament in which the strongest fighters of Earth will take part and if Cell wins, then Earth is history.
The Z fighters are given a short time to prepare for the tournament. The Z fighters enjoy their last few happy moments and savor it. On the big day, they all arrive on the tournament battlefield. Goku, being the strongest, goes up and fights Cell. Cell and Goku go all out on each other. Goku pulls out all his known tricks from his hat, but Cell seems to match him in every move. Soon Goku gets tired and gives up. Cell, as well as all the other Z fighters, are surprised. But Goku says that he is sending in some reinforcements, a substitute, who will fight Cell and supposedly will kill Cell. Surprisingly enough, this substitute turns out to be Gohan. Goku encourages his son and convinces everyone that Gohan has hidden powers that will overpower even Cell's. Cell is surprised to hear about these hidden power of Gohan's and provokes Gohan to release all of his hidden power. Cell finally provokes Gohan to his edge by releasing mini-Cells, Cell Juniors, who attack the Z fighters. The Z fighters can't fight even these Cell Jr.'s. Seeing his friends being hurt, Gohan releases all of his power to attain a whole new level of Super Saiyan- Super Saiyan 2.
Cell is the second strongest villain in DBZ to wreak havoc and cause mass destruction and killing and the second villain to come close to destroying Earth. Cell's strength lies in his cunningness, his ability to do the Z fighters attacks and most of all- his body structure. Even after spitting out Android 18 and destroying himself to bits, he regenrated to his perfect form because his cells had copied the memory of the perfect form and so when he regenerated, he came back in his perfect form. He will truly remain a legend among villains.
