Miscellaneous: Frequently Asked Questions
• Can I affiliate with you?
Yea, sure, but just read the requirements and see if your site meets them. Don't worry, you will ususally be accepted, but please don't take advantage of that.
• Can I link to your files?
What??? No way, we surely won't allow that unless of course you either partner with us. Please note, partnership is different from affiliation and you got to contact the webmaster for partnership. Mostly partners are chosen by the webmaster and only in special cases do we accept partners when they contact us.
• What programs did you use for the site?
Well this depends on which version you are asking about. But if you really want to learn the programs that we used, just read our History. But for the HTML and scripting, we used simple Notepad.
• How did you make the graphics and the your personal avatars?
We mostly used Microsoft Picture It 2002 for creating our logos.
• How did you get all the information on your site?
Well we wrote most of the information by ourselves and thanx to our great staff, we got all this info. If you do want to take some info from this site, you can do it, but only after you contact the webmaster and ask him.
• Can you make a layout for me?
Sorry, but we are too busy working on our site to make a layout for you.
• How did you make JPEG pictures off websites?
Well first of all, this FAQ is about the pictures of sites in the SOTM and History sections where we have pictures of the layouts and sites. Ok, anyway, first you go to the site and when it is done loading, you press Alt + Print Screen on your keyboard(Print Screen key is near the Scroll Lock key). Then you go to any image-editing program(even MS Paint is enough) and then you press Ctrl + V. This pastes the site as a picture. From there on, you can resize it to the size you want and voila you got yourself a site in JPEG format.
• Can you help me with some basic HTML script problems?
Sorry, but we are too busy working on this site and are also trying to learn new things in the big wide world of the Net.
• If I send you mail, how fast do you reply?
Well usually, we try to get to everyone ASAP. The maximum delay can be one week, but we try to get to everyone before that.
• Can I spam you with mails?
No, this is the problem wjen I tell you that you can send me mail. You are not allowed to spam me or any of the fellow members or we will do things that will ruin your Internet life forever.
• Can I send you hate mail?
Yes, but only to a limit. We would surely like to read your thoughts on the site and us. But please don't overdo it.
• Why have you put up an FAQ section?
So that people can know more about the site and so we also get to know more about you.
