We Should Blow up The Moon
First of all, we should examine what happens when the moon is here, The gravitational forces between the Earth and the Moon cause some interesting effects.
The most obvious is the tides. The Moon's gravitational attraction is stronger on the side of the Earth nearest to the Moon and weaker on the opposite side.
Since the Earth, and particularly the oceans, is not perfectly rigid it is stretched out along the line toward the Moon. From our perspective on the Earth's
surface we see two small bulges, one in the direction of the Moon and one directly opposite. The effect is much stronger in the ocean water than in the solid
crust so the water bulges are higher. And because the Earth rotates much faster than the Moon moves in its orbit, the bulges move around the Earth about once a
day giving two high tides per day. The interesting part comes when we examine what would happen if the moon were around too long. The Earth's rotation carries
the Earth's bulges slightly ahead of the point directly beneath the Moon. This means that the force between the Earth and the Moon is not exactly along the line
between their centers producing a torque on the Earth and an accelerating force on the Moon. This causes a net transfer of rotational energy from the Earth to
the Moon, slowing down the Earth's rotation by about 1.5 milliseconds /century and raising the Moon into a higher orbit by about 3.8 centimeters per year, so as
you can see right there, it's a perfectly valid reason to blow up the moon now. Because if we don't, then the earth will eventually stop rotating.
Don't think I'm finished there, you see, we really don't need tides that much. Why? Because the animals, and organisms that "need" tides to survive, DON'T really
need them, because they can just move somewhere else, and if they absolutely need them, then they will die, but not to the point of extinction. Also, it would be
quite a bit darker at night, which can help some people sleep better, besides, no one really cares about it being any darker at night, because we have street
lights everywhere anyway, and as for those people in some hobo tribe in some unknown new Guinea tribe in Africa, or something like that, they probably worship
the moon or something, so we'll be blowing up their god, proving to them that he can be destroyed, and therefore he isn't a real god.
One other thing, if we were to blow up the moon, then there would be no more useless money wasted on trips to the moon, and people would start focusing more on
visiting other planets with some actually resources like Mars, or Venus or something. Yes, i know that they is ice on the moon, but what kind of retard would go
to the Moon for ice, when we have water covering 75% of the earth already. Besides, if you bring back ice from the moon, who knows what the shit could be wrong
with it, i mean it could bring with it some messed up Moon-Plague, and destroy the entire planet, that is exactly why i say we should blow it up. Then you may say
to me, well, if we go to mars or Venus to gather resources, wouldn't there also be a chance that we could bring back some deadly plague virus that wipes us
all out? And i will say to you, Quiet! This isn't blow up Mars, or Blow up Venus, I'll save that for some other month, this is Blow up the moon. Which means that
i have to promote Blowing up the moon, and support it in any way that i can.
Also, this whole thing with ware wolves, and crap like that, it's all going to end, and no one will bother making anymore movies about it, because there will be
no such thing as ware wolves anymore, not to say that there is now, but then again, what is the point of making a fictional character if the main source of it's
existence doesn't even exist anymore. I have also explored the possibility that if we blow up the moon, the explosion must be controlled, because we don't want
pieces of the moon flying into the earth, or something like that. We'd either have to send all the nukes that we have at it, which is quite a low, despite what
you've heard from the USA. But I'm sure with all the nuclear technology and stuff that we have, we would be able to turn the moon into pebbles. As a matter of fact,
i still don't see what the point of sending people to the moon over and over again is. They just might be taking my suggestion, and planting nukes all over the
moon so that they can be detonated all at once.
Blowing up the moon is a very complex project, and i think i should lead the assault. I mean there's just so many factors that are involved. You'd have to
calculate the velocity at which the left over pieces would travel, and in which direction. You'd also have to calculate where to place the nukes, because if
you don't place them correctly, then the moon could split into two different halves, and one go flying off into space, when the other one comes and totally
annihilates the earth. So what you have to do, is put the nukes at the top and at the bottom, so that when it blows up, it will go sideways in the opposite
direction, totally avoiding the earth, and if there is anything left after that explosion, then it will just burn up in our atmosphere. There is also the variable
of what will happen to the pieces if they end up hitting or colliding with another planet, like Jupiter, or mars or something. At the very worst scenario, the moon
will not even crumble, but instead, it will just be nudged off it's orbit, and be launched right into Venus, which will act as a billiards effect, taking it
with it, right into mercury, and straight into the sun, therefore causing some messed up effect on the sun, and eventually screwing over the entire balance of
gravity in the solar system, so that all the outer planets come in, and smash into the earth, and take it along with it into the sun, eventually causing the
entire star to blow up, which causes a chain reaction with some other star, and therefor more and more, until the entire galaxy explodes.
But hey, that is only the worst case scenario.
