-4KIDS ENTERTAINMENT HOME VIDEO PLANS TO RELEASE NEXT YU-GI-OH! HOME VIDEO ON JULY 22, 2003
Volume 11: Best of Friends, Best of Duelists Features Four Action-Packed Episodes

NEW YORK, NY (June 2, 2003) - 4Kids Entertainment Home Video, Inc., the home video unit of 4Kids Entertainment, Inc., (NYSE: KDE) in association with FUNimation, will release Volume 11 of YU-GI-OH! home videos on July 22, 2003. Best of Friends, Best of Duelists, featuring four new episodes from the hit television series, will be available at retail and at the www.4KidsHomeVideo.com Web site in both DVD and VHS formats.

Volumes 9 and 10 of YU-GI-OH! home videos - Champion vs. Creator and Duel Identity - were released May 6, 2003.

Based on a popular Japanese comic book series, YU-GI-OH! follows the adventures of Yugi and his buddies - Joey, Tristan and Tea, who spend most of their free time playing the coolest new game ever ... Duel Monsters. The game allows them to challenge their minds using logic and strategy while players pair up different mystical creatures against one another in wild, magical duels. When Yugi's grandfather gave Yugi an old Egyptian artifact called the "Millennium Puzzle," Yugi pieced the puzzle together and was infused with incredible mystical powers. With the help of his friends, his belief in the heart of the cards and the mysterious power of his Millennium Puzzle, Yugi sets out on the adventure of a lifetime!

VOLUME 11: Best of Friends, Best of Duelists

Episode 31: Keith's Machination Part I Joey frantically searches for the card that permits him to enter the final battle, not realizing Bandit Keith has stolen it from him. As he struggles to accept the fact that Serenity will be blind forever, he receives help from a new and unexpected friend!

Episode 32: Keith's Machination Part II After Bandit Keith's Machine deck forces Joey to take the defensive, Joey mimics Keith's battle strategy to metallize his Red-Eyes B. Dragon! Is victory assured? Or does the cheater Bandit Keith literally have one last card up his sleeve?

Episode 33: Best of Friends, Best of Duelists Part I With his pride in his strength as a duelist on the line, Joey challenges Yugi for the right to face Pegasus. In a battle between friends, a fierce match ensues between the two people who know each other's strategies and cards as they struggle to keep their thoughts of past loyalties at the back of their minds.

Episode 34: Best of Friends, Best of Duelists Part II Yugi is shocked as Joey uses the Time Wizard card on him. It's the very same card Yugi gave Joey as a sign of friendship! However, as the two battle each other valiantly and one comes out the victor, they find confirmation of the strength of their friendship that surpasses any duel.

DVD extras: Monster stats and duelist profile, an exclusive YU-GI-OH! music video, and a Yu-Gi-Oh!: Music to Duel By song sampler.

Subject: Otohime Mitsumi Swimsuit Statue Unveiled By Tokyo Mint
  Posted on 05-29-2003 03:20 -=- By {-
Matthew-} drop me a line
-Tokyo Mint has announced that the seventh statue in its Love Hina line will be the Otohime Mitsumi in Swimsuit Statue, which is being pre-solicited in June for shipment in November.
This is the first statue featuring this popular character, and puts the Love Hina statue line “back on the beach,” where it began with the sold-out Naru Narusegawa in Bikini Statue last December. The bird playfully pulling the towel up off the title character adds a second element to this statue, increasing its desirability and collectiblity. This is a 1/8 scale cold cast resin statue, delivered complete and fully painted. The exclusive North American Tokyo Mint edition size for the Otohime Mitsumi in Swimsuit Statue will be only 600 pieces. Each statue displays beautifully on a base of sandy material, and comes carefully packaged in an attractive color box (Japanese packaging with Tokyo Mint edition labeling). MSRP will be $149.

-FUNimation has confirmed to AnimeNewsNetwork that they intend to re-dub, re-master and release the first 53 TV episodes of Dragonball Z uncut on DVD. In their re-mastered releases they will include aproximately 12 episodes worth of material that Pioneer had to remvoe from the show to satisfy the broadcast standards of the time. As for the 3 movies, it seems likely that they will re-do them, but there are no plans right now.

Pioneer Entertainment had originally released material first 53 episodes of Dragonball Z on DVD back on 17 DVDs, along with the first 3 DBZ movies on 3 more DVDs. However on August 31st, Pioneer's license to the material (sub-licensed from FUNimation) will expire. They have officially informed retailers that they will not take orders or returns for the DVDs after Ausgust 31st.

-Cowboy Bebop The Movie
-Release Date: April 4, 2003
  - Alright time to pay tribute to CB The Movie. First of that is the official poster for the movie located to the left of this article. I have seen this movie also known as Knocking on Heavens Door. I enjoyed it and most Bebop fans do. in fact it held the #1 spot in Japan for a long time. This movie is promoted by Sony who oddly enough hasn't made any attempt to cross promote it with any TV Series. No matter this is another Anime that will show main stream movie companies that America wants more Anime placed on the big screen. So Whats it about? Well here is a brief summary. Faye kinda is catapolted into a big mess when she is trying to capture this Hacker and ends up watching this tanker explode killing a bunch of people but more impotantly a Virus is released that stems from this exploding tanker. The Government places this high reward for the capture of the criminal and Faye is one of the only people who seen him. Of course Spike joins in for the bounty that leads him to Maroccan Street where he meets a man who gives him important information. At this point Spike also meets this veil woman. Well not revealing to much they find out that this virus can multiply itself and self destruct. Stuff happen on a train and a woman survives and is not affected by the virus. They analyze her blood to see why she is not infected. They create an anti virus and try to release it over the city. I won't say more you gotta watch it.
