- Heylo, peeps. Hope you all had an excellent holiday! I for one had a marvelous one, and it's only just beginning! I got lots o' neat stuff, like the Cowboy Bebop DVD boxed set, Lain DVD boxed set, both Fushigi Yuugi DVD boxed sets, other random anime DVDs, concert DVDs, other fun tapes, a new desk chair, and much more! Basically, I got a lot of viewing material. Ohhh, my head explodes! Well, I'm just popping in to say that from tomorrow 'till next Saturday, I won't be around, as I will be vacationing with my boyfriend Mike (that bastard EX, hehehe) and his family. Anything to get out of this hella cold weather will be great! So, I won't be around to answer any e-mails or do site stuff 'till then. I hope to come back with fun stories and such! And if I don't come back...well...won't that just suck. Until then, farewell, and Happy New Year from the ToT!

And in case you're wondering, I did do some work around here. :) All of my old, and highly shitty music videos are back up in the Archived Music Videos section, I made some new MPEG versions of some newer Music Videos, and all the sub-sections are back up on the main page. have fun!

- Although this is coming from me rather late, I figured it's better late than never! Today, I've posted the ToT annual batch of DBZ winter holiday-related fanfics, images, stories, songs, poems, etc! You can find them on the DBZ Winter Holiday Stuff page. I'll only have this up for a few days, so enjoy these items while you still can. Have fun!

As for the site itself, here are some things I still have to do: 1) add the sub-sections to the main page, 2) fix links on the archived music videos page, 3) decide what to do about movie clips. That's on my personal list of things to do in the next couple o' days. Catch you laters!

- You may have convinced yourself it was all over...you may have thought that it was dead...or maybe you thought it was just getting drunk in Tiajuana...BUT YOU WERE DEAD WRONG! I'm pleased to announce that the Temple O' Trunks is now officially back and fully operational! Uploading the 5500+ files only took a few hours, surprising enough (fast connections = god-like power), and that makes me regret that I did not put this all back up sooner. Despite that, this hiatus from the site was a much needed break. I was able to concentrate more on school (3rd year of college can be a bitch goddess!), and as a result, I racked in 4 As and lord-knows-what in my god-awful Java programming class. Now that the Fall semester is over, I'm ready to come back to the site, and I simply began by putting it all back up again. As much as I would have liked to have come back with my new location, the new servers still ain't ready yet, and I have no idea when I can move in. So I figured I should just stay put for the time being. Hope you can deal with that. ^_- I want to thank the majority of you who have been patient with my delay on coming back to the site. I could have done so quickly, but when it comes down to it.. I *really* needed to give this thing a rest. So, thanks for sticking around this long, and I hope you'll continue to be a part of this in the future. To the rest of you whiny kids who couldn't get a grip on reality and just be patient with the site changes...screw you. Screw you profusely! *ahem* Ahh, that felt good. As far as I know, everything uploaded back up just dandy. However, if you notice large gaps of missing content (i.e- entire pages with no working images, etc.) please let me know. But, don't e-mail if there's just one little link or image that isn't working some where, cuz chances are I don't have that file any more. I still have some minor adjustments to make here and there, so please bear with me (most notably on the old music video archives, ugg...what crap. Don't even bother looking!) . I hope you will have fun with everything that is back up again! I plan on making an update of the annual, seasonal kind tomorrow, so stay tuned. Heh... I don't know what else I can say other than thanks for being such great fans, and I hope you'll be enjoying the site again!

- I'm back today to bring you more news. This time, it's Trunks related! Eric Johnson, the voice of Future Trunks, tells me that he has changed his stage name to "Eric Vale". What's the reason behind this? Read on, bub:

"I've taken a stage name because some guy on the show Smallville joined the union, SAG, with my real name. So, since there can't be more than one of the same name in the union... And since I hope to join the union someday... I thought I'd just nip it in the bud and change it now. New name is Eric Vale."

So, that's that! You heard it here. As you may or may not know, there's a guy on Smallville that also has the name "Eric Johnson," so our Eric's gone ahead and given himself a stage name. Pretty freaky, eh? I'll add this info to the "Trunks Voice Actor Info" section as soon as all my files are back up.

- Howdy you little cuties, you! I hope everyone out there in web land is doing OK. I'm returning to my old stomping ground bearing news! Yes news, from me! Wow, I feel hella special since some really coo' and pertinent information has been bestowed upon my little self. A reliable source who prefers to remain anonymous tells me that come the holidays, script writing will begin on DBGT. After that, the show is projected to begin production in the early spring. That's all I have for now, but if I get more tidbits, I'll post 'em here!

OK, time for my report on the status of the ToT. Obviously, it ain't moved yet. I'm thinking I'll just restore the site at it's current location, and when the servers are ready for me to move in, I'll just take it from there. So my holiday gift from me to you all will hopefully be the restoration of this monster! On a very related note, my main man Mike's site, Daizenshuu EX (which current forwards to the main pokeball.net home page) should also be back in the near future.

With semester finals in full swing, I've been mad crazy stupid busy. But, like I always say, I'm constantly working on some project or another. That said, expect some new shiznit from me soon. I'm sure I'll make at least one more update in the next few days, so I hope you'll stay tuned, cuz the ToT comin' home for the holidays!

- Happy almost Turkey Day! Looking forward to a small break? I sure hope so. It's sure been awhile since I updated this thing. The server I'm moving to is still being renovated. I'm told the moving day is going to be December 1, but we'll see. Despite not having updated, I am *always* working on new projects. Today, I'll post some of those completed items here on the site! I've got two new music videos for you to watch, one of which is a new DBZ video! Oh my! The first video is something I finished last week. I used the Kimagure Orange Road movie, and a song from an 80s cartoon show, Jem. Odd combination, eh? If you haven't seen KOR before, I really, really recommend it. It will be available on DVD in February, too! Anywho, the video is all about a girl named Hikaru who loves to dance and is trying out for a musical audition. Her best friend Madoka is also in the video, shown playing the piano, as she gives mental support for her friend. That's a rather simplified descrption of the video, so if you'd like to get more in-depth info on this video, click here. The video is called "When It's Only Me and the Music", and it was just a fun lil' video I did mainly for my own amusement.

The next video is something I'm extremely proud of, heheh, although I'm not sure if I should be. ^^;; I completed it last night at 3:40 am (I just *had* to finish it, or I wouldn't sleep!), and I've been working on it for the last few days. How can I describe what this video is about, hmm...well, to put it simply: this video is parody of everything that sucks about DBZ music videos, and all of its stereotypes, all in one package! It's in the form of a home shopping TV show, so it has some live action footage, something I've never done (or seen) before in an anime music video. Not only that, but it features 3 songs (to all those who ever asked me to make a Limp Bizkit video...you asked for it! HA!). Click here if you wanna read about all of the fun facts relating to this music video. Or if you want, just go straight ahead and download my "All-Purpose DBZ Music Video (How To Make a Bad One)". I really hope you enjoy this, as well as my other new video, because this was a blast to make. I at least hope it entertains you. (Note- both videos are in MPEG format [no exceptions. I ain't making RealVideo format clips anymore! They look shitty!], and are moderate file sizes, but have very good video quality.) See y'all soon!

For all those who don't bother to read my updates on the main page- I know my links aren't working! I took them down on purpose. My site will be moved soon. Please be patient. I've been getting some pretty rude e-mails from people who just can't wait a few weeks for a web site to go back up. There are more important things to worry about in life, so don't worry about how long it takes me to get this shizzat all moved. :P

Thursday, 10/18/01

- Alrighty so, here's the deal with the site. I got my domain name all bought, and I've been set with a new host for weeks, but (of course, here comes the "but")...as soon as I was ready to move in, the servers all went down, so I've been stranded. No biggie, though. I'm sure things'll be set soon. In the meantime, I did manage to get a new music video done! I sorta started it a month or two ago, but only finished it last week. My bad. ^^ In my new trend of moving away from DBZ videos (it gets *real* old after doing them for 3 years...), I have a little something different to offer you! It's a Sailor Moon video ("what another one?!", you say? Don't worry, I only have the two), but it's very much unlike any video I've ever done. It's a look into the character of Haruka Tenoh (known as "Amara" in the dub, or, Sailor Uranus), and how she is deeply affected by the destiny that awaits her, and the tough decisions she must face in life. If you'd like to read the full description of this video (cuz I don't want to take space up on the main page), please click here. And, here's the download link for video itself, called "Wind Outrunning Destiny: Haruka Tenoh". Yes, I'm just plopping the direct download link on the main page, for now. :P . Anywho, this is a neat lil' character tribute, and I hope you enjoy it. I'm kinda surprised with the end result of this video, in that I didn't initially expect to go into detail over the complexities of the character. I just wanted it to be something fun to work on, at first, but it evolved into something in which, I hope, has a unique story. Oh well, I'll shut up now. If you enjoy Sailor Moon, then I hope you like this thing.
OK, it's 2:30 am, I need sleep. Ja ne!

Thursday, 10/4/01

- Well, the site move is taking longer than I thought. I'm not even sure if I'll be able to move now. That, plus college exams and other work is really getting to me, and even if I *could* do site work, I probably wouldn't be adding anything new, simply because I don't have time or desire to do such. Oh yeah! I *have* to mention this, cuz there seems to be a lot of confusion. YES, I KNOW the main navigation links aren't working. People are failing to read my updates, which state that I'm moving my site..I thought it was fairly obvious. Uhh, lesse, I did make a new music video. It's a remake of an old favorite of mine. Check it out, please! It's a new version of my Sailor Moon R movie music video "Carry On Dancing- Version 2.0". And, if you missed it, please give my Boys Be music video, "Chick Magnet", a view. Anyshit, if I get more info on the progress of the transfer of this site, I'll post it here. Otherwise, nothing's going on. Go outside and play or something. There are more important things in life than waiting for this site to go back up. :P And for all those who asked, the Vampire Hunter D movie was great. Gorgeous, gothic, amazing voice acting, and just a fun dumb action movie. I'm glad that it was shown in my city! ^^

Sunday, 9/16/01
- This week's been hell, as I'm certain many of you out there can understand. Things are so weird here. When I look out into the horizon, a clear smoke line from NYC is visible. Not only that, but I can smell the stench of the wreckage over here as well. And I live in *central New Jersey*. That's just so sick, it's depressing... I can't believe things like that are visible from here. I heard that at my school, the WTC skyline (or what's left of it) can be seen from the tallest dorm rooms. *sigh* Sometimes I forget how close I really am to what's going down. Well, if any one out there was worrying, I'm fine, and Mike's dad is safe, despite a few close calls, my neighbors are OK, too. I almost feel disgusting for making this update, cuz I still feel as if I need time away from these damn computers. But, I completed this project yesterday, so I figured I should post it. Maybe it'll even cheer people up, I hope. It's a new Music Video! You can find it in the ever-growing Non-DBZ Music Videos page. This video based on the obscure anime "Boys Be." It's a great show that recently finished up in Japan. I highly recommend it. It's all about happy, horny high schoolers, and the people they fall in love with. Visually, this is the best looking video I've done in that the DVDs I got my footage from were amazingly clear, and the animation is all digital. The video is all about three boys who try to check out, hit on, and impress girls, but fail miserabley, and make asses out of themselves. But, there is a happy ending. :) To read my full descriptioin of the video, click here. You can download the MPEG here: "Chick Magnet": Boys Be Music Video. This is a great looking MPEG file, and it's 33 MB. Let me know what you think of it! Even if you've never seen the anime, I hope you watch this video anyway. Maybe it'll get you into the series. :) Feel free to let me know what ya think. Oh yeah, if you go to the Music Video pages, you'll see that they look slightly different. I went through all of the pages, and re-organized them. Wow, it took a long time to do. Well..I'm off!

Tuesday, 9/11/01

- I'm sure all of you by now are aware of today's devastating events in NYC. I hope eveyone out there is doing OK. If any one has someone in their lives that has been hurt or lost, my thoughts and prayers are constantly with you. I'm deeply, deeply sorry. At 8:50 AM on Tuesday, September 11, I was at my home, eating breakfast, while watching the Weather Channel before getting ready to go to school. My father came in the living room and told me to put on the CNN. What I then saw startled and confused me. I thought I was witnessing a fire in a room of one of the Twin Towers. However, the text that appeared at the bottom of the screen soon led me to understand otherwise. A plane had crashed in to the World Trade center; a landmark that is a mere 40-minute drive from my house, and can be seen clearly from the nearby New Jersey Turnpike. For a few minutes, my father and I speculated possible causes for the accident. As a pilot, my father threw some theories back and forth on what could have taken places. But, it was time for me to drive to my morning class, so I had to leave. I would have left right then and there, except for at about 9:00 AM, a video of a second plane slamming into the other Twin Tower played before my eyes. This was enough. I froze where I was, as I started to get choked up. I didn't really understand what was going on, but sadly, I had to go to school, despite my wanting to stay at home to find out what just happened. On the 20-minute ride to my university, I had the news on, and heard more developments in the events that were taking place. From 9:45-11:10, I didn't really know what was going on, since, I was stuck in class (my teacher had tried to access cnn.com during my Social Informatics class, but the server was flooded.) The second I got out of class, I turned on my cell phone. Ten seconds after I turned on my phone, it rang. It was my boyfriend, Mike (VegettoEX of Daizenshuu EX.) It didn't take much for me to realize that he was obviously distraught. Then I came to a realization: Mike's dad works in downtown Manhattan, and shit was going down. I drove straight to Mike's dorm and met up with him. While I was in my car, I called my dad at home, to make sure all our relatives in the near-by area were OK. Fortunately, everything was fine. When I arrived at Mike's floor at the dorm, the Loft, everyone was glued to the TVs, and most people were crying. Upon arriving to Mike's room, I got up to date on what had happened, and learned that the landmark Twin Towers no longer existed. I burst into tears. The images on the TV were horrific, unbelieveable, and downright scary, in terms of how damn close all of this was taking place. We then learned that classes at school were cancelled for the rest of the day, and rightfully so. For the next few hours, the three of us, me, Mike, and his roommate Andrew, sat in front of the TV in tears, and in silence. It took a loooong time, well...it *felt* like a long time, for us to get up and do anything. We were virtual vegetables for a good three hours. As time passed, we regained our appetites, had food, talked with others, and gathered ourselves. During this period, I did a lot of thinking and soul searching. I came to realize something that I had already known in the back of my mind, but it was only re-affirmed by this tragic incident: this web site stuff, differences between different kinds of fans, creative differences, and anime in general...it's all completely worthless. The notion that I could have lost my family, boyfriend, and friends, was a realistic possibility that I had to face. I knew that I absolutely did NOT want to lose them before fully experiencing my life with all of the people I loved. The terror and death that took place in NYC hit way too close to home, not just in terms of geography, but in the ways of general life stuff. Thousands of people were dead. They're not coming back. A landmark that I love, that I love to look at every time I drive by the city, and visit the city, was obliterated. It's not there any more. I was trouble, and still am having trouble, with coming to grips with all this. But, what I have come to terms with is what does, and what does not, take priority in my life. Web sites do not take priority, school does. Worrying about arguments over the DBZ dub does not take priority, my boyfriend does. Worrying about updating my site does not take priority, my family does. Making sure I catch all the new DB and DBZ episodes does not take priority, my friends do. I've received the worst kind of reality check today, and I'm sure countless others have, also. However, I do no think that this is a bad thing. While the circumstances surrounding this slap of reality are devastating, I think an event like this, an event in which it forces the nation to stand together, is a positive thing. I hope that other people in this web world will have a reality check similar to mine. I truly think that if we all have a clear vision of what IS important, DBZ on the web will be less petty and negative. Maybe by gaining a better understanding of what really matters, people’s lives will not revolve around trivial things as much. But, that's just my idea of a perfect world in this crazy mess. My thoughts are kind of jumbled, so sorry if this sounds convoluted right now. But, I thank you for reading this far. I think it's important to express oneself in this terrible time, to help feel free of the grief. With that said, some of my friends' sites, such as Majin Seishin and Savage Z, have written their thoughts as well. Sorry if I left any other sites out, but I'm making this update rather hurriedly. I hope everyone out there is safe. This is a terrible day that we all will not soon forget. I don't know what else to say. I'm still kind of stunned and depressed. But for now, take care, and god bless.

Friday, 9/7/01

- Well well well, school only been going on for four days, and I think my head has already exploded. Look, I think I see some remains right over there by my mouse! *insert brain into skull* Ohhh, juicy. Now that that's oout of the way, I emplore you, you simply *have* to give today's update a view. There's some new Fanart waiting to be viewed, and I must say, and I know that I say this every time (heh, and it kinda makes me feel bad), but I think this might be the best batch yet. Don't believe me? Then, why not check this, this, this, and this out! And that's not even the half of it! So, I hope you enjoy all of today's eye candy. :)

Tuesday, 9/4/01

- As per the request of fans, the ToT is back to using the old Chat format. Ahh, y'all are sticklers for the old stuff, eh? That's ok...whatever makes ya happy. I'm not really a fan of chats, so I don't mind changing it again, as long as you enjoy it. Well then, I'm off to class now. Happy one-year anniversary, baby.

Monday, 9/3/01

- School is back in session, and the happenings on campus are in full swing. Thank GOD. I'm probably one of the few people I know who actually looks forward to school. Kids, college owns, that's all I can say. I'm going into my Junior year at RU...god, I'm old. Well, it's great to be back with all the fun people at the Loft. I missed those guys.... One of its members even got a Gohan tattoo! Here, check this neatness out. Enough of my yaking, here's some updateage.

- Random babble: at first, I was quite pissed that Cowboy Bebop was gonna be on Cartoon Network. After all, the last thing we need are teenboppers of Bebop a la Tenchi and Outlaw Star. However, the fact that it's on so late, and is left the same (save for some changed curse words), makes me ecstatic! What, new DB and DBZ episodes, huh? Blah blah blah...*widdles thubs*

- Check out Sexuality of Trunks for three new additions.

- The Random DBZ Fill in the Blank Contest has a winner and a new sentence.

- Updated Trunks Voice Actor Info with new pics and info on my boy Eric Johnson. Thanks for the pics, Baconfat. The two new images were taken from the Toronto Anime Convention, btw. Shout out to you cool Canadians, and especially you Eric, for mentioning the ToT... heh, it makes me feel special, and junk and stuff and junk. Thanks for the pics, Baconfat.

Sunday, 8/26/01

- Just went and saw "Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back" today. My god. I am in love. I feel like all of those scenes regarding the Internet were written for me. I could so relate to what was going on. Heh, what were they saying about "the Internet was made for people to slander each other anonymously" and "disliking people so much that they sit behind their keyboards and talk about them endlessly"? Hmm..sounds like something I know. Anyway, go see that movie. I have completed my Otakon Report, finally. It's not as long as I had imagined, but, that'll make it less painful for you. There's also a small image gallery. You can find that in the Special Features section. Enjoy!

Saturday, 8/25/01
- This is turning out to be quite an incredible weekend! Yesterday, Mike and I went to NYC to see Reggie and the Full Effect, and on the way home, I kinda got my skinny white ass lost. Ohh, what a trip! And the show was fun, too. OK, that's my story of the moment. Here is some eye candy for today. The Fan Manga section has two new stories added to it. Hope you enjoy them. Right now, I'm also working on my lame-o Otakon report. I'll have it up tomorrow. Pluggage of the day goes out to the super neat Masenko-ha.com. Dang, that shizzat is sleek! Happy belated b-day, MG! Oh, and the site Future Fortold has a new URL, too.

Wednesday, 8/22/01
- Send the kids off to bed, and lock up the dog (...what the heck does that mean?), because I've finished my new Music Video! You can find it in the Non-DBZ Music Videos section. The anime: Cowboy Bebop. The concept: Girls are nuts. Yes, it's a weird one, but fun! This is the first music video I've made on my new computer and DVD player, and I'm gosh darn happy with the results! It was so fun to make, and I hope you'll download it, and enjoy it! I've got both a MPEG and a RealVideo version of the video available for download, so take your pick: These Girls are Crazy (Spike's Valuable Life Lessons): MPEG Version (44 MB), or you can get These Girls are Crazy (Spike's Valuable Life Lessons): RealVideo Version (16 MB). I recommend you get the MPEG. It looks a LOT nicer than the RealVideo one. Well, that's that! Feel free to let me know what you thought of this video. It's now one of my new fave ones, up there with "Again" and "Traces of Insanity". Oh yeah, and to read my full description of the video, you can read it here. Oh yeah, and I've fixed some of the newer music video links in the DBZ Music Videos page.

- I recently conducted a very enjoyable interview with Crono2057 of Konack. If you'd like to read the interview, just check it out right here.

Tuesday, 8/21/01

- Wow, what a crappy week it's been for me and cars. Got into a car accident after Otakon, and today, I got a fraggin' ticket! Dag nabbit, the road is against me! I shall cower in my home for a bit. With that said, here's an update for ya. :P

- Got a few new Trunks Wallpapers made in the Trunks Computer Goodies section.

- Check out Trunks Doujinshi- Page 2 for some really awesome Contributed Trunks Doujinshi. I love the one of Trunks giving Vegeta the finger!

- Random DBZ Fill in the Blank has a new winner and sentence.

- Gah, I suck, I keep forgetting to fix the link to the Message Board. There it goes.

- Whoops, it looks like I messed up that DBZ chat date with Eric Johnson. The chat is on September 13, not 27.

- Aku no Nawabari has found a new home with...me! That's right, Lena is here at dbcollection.com, along with MG of Savage Z (who is sporting a sexy new layout).
Majin Seishin is up and running again, too.

- Expect to see my Otakon report tomorrow. I'd do it today, but I'm busy finishing up my new music video. Until then, be sure to download "This is Your Life" from D-EX.

Saturday. 8/18/01
-  Feast your eyes, Trunks fans, for I have made some new Trunks Scans!  Not only are they new, but I believe they are rare.  I haven't seen these on any other sites before, so I hope that what I'm posting is something you'll be seeing for the first time.  They are 6 black and white pictures of Trunks, that feature important events in his life.  You can find them here.

-  As I'm sure most of you have heard by now, Eric Johnson will be doing a "celebrity chat" at the official Dragonballz.com web site.  This will take place on September 27.

-  Still getting my Otakon report together.  I just received my Otakon AMV contest tape in the mail today, so I am a tad distracted.  Oh well!  To hold you over until I have mind ready, please check out the Otakon reports over at DBC: We Don't Care.  Both Zelda Master2000 and Skinbone have a report available, so give 'em a read!

-  *sniff* All my buddies over at Majin Gohan are having troubles!  Majin Gohan won't be hosting sites anymore, so the hosted sites need to find new locations.   As I mentioned before, Savage Z is moving to my server, Dragonball Kenkon is moving in with Twisted World and KHOW, while the other sites...I dunno about just yet.  I shall keep ya posted!

Thursday, 8/16/01

-  Hot fun in the summer time, ain't it?  I figure I'd celebrate the spirit of the season by making some nice goodies.  Ladies and gents, prepare to drool.  I've made some new Fanarts I like to call "DBZ: The Swimsuit Issue 2001".   Here's your chance to see some of my fanart of hot DBZ characters lookin' fiiiine.   Hope you like them!

-   The MPEG of the winning Otakon action/regular category music video, Scott Melzer's *amazing* DBZ video, "This is Your Life",  is now available for download.  You can find it only at Daizenshuu EX.   However, I also have a link to it on my own Music Videos page.  Oh yeah, I hope to have the Otakon report ready this weekend. :) Also, stay tuned for some new Trunks scans!

Monday, 8/13/01

- Great Con! I was so glad I was able to meet some of you guys there! The whole event was a wonderful experience, and I can't wait to get started on my Otakon report. I hope to have it done in the next day or two. Trust me, I have plenty to talk about. Hmmm..but first, some quick notes. I am damn pleased to announce that Scott Melzer's DBZ music video (the one Mike and I helped with), "This Is Your Life", won first place in the action category! Whee! Congrats to Scott, Lucas, Mike, and anyone else who helped with that production. That music video will be available for download on Daizenshuu EX probably tomorrow. And, my music video was not only the only video to not get booed in its category in Screening 1, but also had lots of cheers! Come on, I'm sure some of you guys were in that audience ,so fess up! :P Well, thanks a lot for all the support. You can find that music video right here (geez, how many times have I plugged this one?). I've already begun work on some new ones, so stay tuned for 'em. For all those who attended the world premiere of our fan dub "This is Otakudom", mad props to you for sitting through nearly two hours of those awful, old, fan dubs. I hope you thought ours was worth waiting for. Let's see....umm...oh yeah, I have a new server-mate! MG, the web master of one of only, like, five DBZ sites I go to any more, is now a part of the dbcollection.com family. Savage Z is still moving in, but he'll be ready soon. Well, just wanted to say I'm home, and as much as I am loving this whole lack of Internet thing, I'll try to get back into the habit. Ja ne.

Wednesday, 8/9/01
-  The big ol' trip to Baltimore is tomorrow. It seems like half the population of New Jersey is going to Otakon, I swear. Everywhere I go, work, the mall, stores, etc., I find people that are going. 'Tis tres spiffy! So, if you too will be attending Otakon, it would be really great if you just wanted to stop and say hello. A good place to see me and Mike would be at the Music Video contest. The two of us will also *definately* be at the Music Video overflow screenings numbers 1 and 3. Those are where our music videos will be shown, so feel free to stop by and cheer us on! And of course, we'll be at the Fan Dub Parody screening. I believe it will be shown Saturday night, but check the schedule when you get it just to make sure. For that, stick around after the showing of the fan dub parody, cuz we'll most likely stick around after it is played. Hmmm, well, those are the events I definitely know I'll be going to. If you just happen to see me any ol' other time, don't hesistate to strike up a conversation. On Friday, I'll just be wearing normal clothes. On Staurday, I'll be wearing the "This is Otakudom" T-shirt, and I might wear my ToT shirt on Sunday. I guess that's that. See you at the con!!! :) Oh yeah, and be sure to vote for Scott Melzer's DBZ music video "This Is Your Life" at the music video contest! You won't be disappointed. It's f-ing incredible.

Update: I have just received my official "This is Otakudom" t-shirt. If you're looking for me in this shirt, here are some pics that will help. This is the front of the shirt, and my own quote from the fan dub is on the back. Huzzah!

- Seeing as how not everyone out there will make it to Otakon and see my music video shown, I've decided to make the high quality MPEG version of my Fushigi Yuugi video, "Again", available for download for all the people who will be stuck at home. :P Now, I know his one works, as opposed to the faulty DivX version that I had up. I hope you enjoy this vid. This is the final version of it. ^_- You can find it in the Non-DBZ Music Videos section.

- Since I'll be gone all weekend, I'd REALLY appreciate it if you DO NOT SEND ME ANY E-MAIL UNTIL SUNDAY. I just don't want a stuffed mail box when I'm gone, heheh. I'll return laters. Bye bye!

Wednesday, 8/8/01

-  Two days 'till Otakon...me..going...crazy!! Ah, I am so excited! I can't wait to see what this thing is like. Mike and I are still finalizing plans, so expect an update with all meeting info sometime tomorrow. Now, I have a lame story for you. Yesterday, I went to the mall to make my very first DVD purchase. As I walked into Suncoast video, I swiftly ignored the DBZ Movie 4: Lord Slug DVD...gawd, what a bad movie. Even if it is on DVD and subtitled, I'll never buy dat piece o' crap movie). Instead, I decided to buy a Shoujo Kakumei Utena box set. *drool* Now that's quality! Anywho, I went to go pay for the thing with Mike, when the guy at the register asked if we were going to Otakon. We said yes, and I said to him, "Please go see our fan dub, 'This is Otakudom'!" Well, that's a phrase I've been saying a lot these last few weeks, and I intend to promote the thing even more. So, yeah, go see it. I *think* it's on Saturday, but I'm not sure, but like I said, I'll have more info tomorrow. On with the update!

- As per Dena's request, there are now some very specific guidelines for sending in Fanart. Please look them over before sending anything to her.

- Super plug time! My host, Tapion, finally has his new version of his site, Dragonball Collection, up and running! Good job, ol' boy. And now, my moment of zen: petitions are dumb.

Sunday, 8/5/01
-  My family reunion has come and gone.  After not being on my computer for days, I realized how non-stressful life can be without one.  It is good.  The Internet sucks, baby.  With that said, I'm pleased to announce I'm buying a new computer tomorrow.  Yes, I am a walking talking contradiction.  Um, here are some things to look at.

-  Fan Manga goodies are now available for your viewing pleasure.  Lots of good stories this time around.

-  In the Operators are Standing By section, there is a new item up for bid!  OK, so it's not for sale, but it's fun to pretend, right?

-  Check out the  The Random DBZ Fill in the Blank Contest for a new winner and sentence.

-  Otakon is in five freakin' days!  I am so excited!  Me and my home slices (is that even a phrase?) are busy promoting the "This is Otakudom" fan dub, and my Fushigi Yuugi music video, "Again"  made the second showing time-slot.   Ah, this will be fun!  Anywho, I'm sure I'll be posting more about my plans for the con in the days to come, so stay tuned for more details.

Thursday, 8/2/01

-  Looks like the wonders of modernity have finally hit your friendly neighborhood Meri.  I've indulged myself and bought me a DVD player, yep yep!  No more mooching of other people for me!  So, I'm re-watching Evangelion, and I'm getting the usual mind-fuck that I do so enjoy.  Hmmmm...mind mush....*ahem*  Time to set my reality straight by making an update!  I'm sure lots of you have been looking forward to this one!  The Trunks Fanfics page has a lot of new additions from both old authors, and two newcomers.  Hope you like them!   Thanks, MajinKenny, for all the help, and thanks, Kyle-san, for taking over the Fanfic reigns for awhile.

-  Check out Daizenshuu EX for some MPEGs of scenes from our Otakon (in almost a week!) fan dub parody "This is Otakudom."  To hype it up more, the ToT shall be hosting a variety of different clips as well.  Keep in mind that the actual fan dub is 45 minutes long, and therefore, a full version of the dub will never be online.  Regardless, stay tuned to download some clips from it very soon.

-  I took down the DivX file of my Fushigi Yuugi video, "Again", since it seemed like lots of people were having trouble viewing the file.  I shall have the MPEG of that music video up soon.

Tuesday, 7/31/01

-  Between work, and my family reunion coming up, and Otakon two weeks away (still working on the final touches for "This is Otakudom" fan dub!), things have been hectic.   I'm a tad torked that I'm not doing as much stuff here as I would like, but I get by.  Anywho, a Links update was long overdue, so I decided to post a bunch of good new sites that I've come across in the last few months!  Got some new fixed URLs, too.  Well, I hope to add something with a little more substance very soon.

Tuesday, 7/24/01

-  Wow, I am raking in the dough with my summer job.  Now I'll have shopping money for Otakon!   See kids, you too can buy nice things if you just get a job!  Stealing is bad, very, very bad!  *runs away with DBZ DVDs under her jacket*.  You ain't seen nothin'!  Go on, read these updates!  *sneak sneak*

-  Thanks to the always delightful Cat of Goku Central, the Enlightened Ones section has a new editorial added!   This is a great read.  I highly recommend it.  And speaking of Cat, she also has made a new site called Anime Central!

-  The Sexuality of Trunks page has a couple of new and horny tidbits.

-  A new winner and sentence is up in The Random DBZ Fill in the Blank Contest.

-  For the time being, MajinKenny will not be able to accept Fanfics, as he is about to go away for a bit.  Instead, Kyle-san will now be in charge of fanfic submissions in the weeks ahead.  Please, be gentle to him. :)

-  The super neat site, Nani, has *another* new url!

-  Some of my eBay Auctions are still going on, so if you'd like to buy some of "Meri's Offical Junk", feel free to check them out.

Saturday, 7/24/01

-  I needed a music video fix this week, so I decided to work on a little something fun.   Since my last music video used a song that was "hard and trendy", I decided to use a song that is totally not the norm for Dragonball Z music videos.   What is it?  It's the up-tempo classical song, the Can Can!  C'mon, I know you all have heard it at some point or another.  Ahhh, you'll know it when you hear it.  Combine that with the need to make a straight up action fighting video (something I haven't done in a long time), and you get something that, I hope, is unique.   So, check it out, my new Music Video, "The Slugfest Can Can: Piccolo vs. Juunanagou" (In MPEG format, baybee!).   As always, I'd love to hear what you think of the video.  Oh yeah, some of you might be wondering what ever happened to that Krillin/#18 music video I was working on.   I put that one on hold for the time being, because I didn't like how it was turning out.  I do hope I can finish it some day.  But for now, download today's goodie, and I hope you like it. :)

-   Weekend pluggage!  My boy A Dawg's site, Majin Seishin, made its debut at it's new host today.  Be sure to check out his new editorial (hehe, I love it to death!).  Also, give this a go!

Wednesday, 7/18/01

-  Otakon is coming in a few weeks, and I need to get rid of stuff in my room to make room for whatever anime purchases take place at the con!  Therefore, I have gon through all my anime stuff and decided to sell a bunch of items.  You can find a total of 26 goodies consisting of posters, wall scrolls, action figures, doujinshi, cards, stickers, and more in my eBay Auctions.  This stuff is dirt cheap, and I'm only going to have them on sale for a mere 3 days (some are a week, by accident), so be sure to check them out!   I have stuff other than DBZ items as well. :P  Please...take my junk off my hands? ^_^;;

Tuesday, 7/17/01

-  Hmm, this is a relatively late update for me.  The Shoujocon report took longer to write up than I anticipated, but it's done, and it's here.  My Shoujocon 2001 Report can be found in the Special Features section.  Hope you like it. :P

Monday, 7/16/01

-  I return from the coooon!  Shoujocon was a lot more fun this year than its premiere year in '00.  However, it was rather unorganized, but I look forward to seeing how the con will mature in the future.  I'm happy to say that my Fushigi Yuugi music video, "Again,"  won second place in the music video contest!!  Gah, I was so scared during the first airing of the contest that I could feel my face turning green.  But, I was glad when it was over (because being able to breathe is a good thing).  I'm really surprised that I got second place at my first real convention....it was really fun, and a great learning experience.   Now I just have Otakon to worry about!  For all those who might be wondering, my prize was a Gundam Wing tarot card set.  -_-;;  Well, Mike has already posted some comments on the con at his site.  And like him, I too shall make a more detailed report on the con at a later time (as in, tomorrow).  I do want to mention one point right away, though.  By some stroke of luck, myself, Mike, and some friends of mine whom I perused the con with were able to get our 40+ minute long fan dub, "This is Otakudom", shown at the convention.  Our parody (which was made with the help of an insane amount of people....) was made specifically for Otakon, however, we were able to show a "trial version" of the dub for Shoujocon.  Basically, we wanted to see how well it went over with an actual audience, instead of ourselves watching it over and over.   I can't believe the reaction it got from the audience...it was just what we were hoping for, and more.  If you'd like to see the final version of "This is Otakudom", you're gonna have to catch it at the Otakon!  Trust me, you won't be disappointed. :P  Like I said, I'll have more detailed Shoujocon report tomorrow.   To tide yourself over until then, check out Vejjiechan's AX report at her site, Dragonball Kenkon!   Oh yeah, "Kiko-chan's Ribbon" is the funniest anime I have seen in a long while.  On with the update.

-  The Alternative Trunks Timelines Guide has been fixed.  That can be found in the Trunks Timelines page of the Info section.

-  Got two new Trunks Wallpapers posted. :)

Friday, 7/13/01
- I apologize for not having any content for today. I've been working a real job, and planning an excursion for this weekend. Which brings me to my babbling! Like I mentioned the other day, I'll be going to Shoujocon in East Brunswick, NJ on Saturday with Mike. It's only $20 at the door, so if you live in the area, give it a go. It's a nice small anime convention that'll give ya something to do for the day. Any crap, I will most likely be wearing a ToT shirt (if I make one in time), so I shouldn't be too hard to find if you wanna stop me to say "what's up". Also, since Mike and I will be attending the music video contest, we'll be waiting outside the music video screening room about a half hour to an hour before the contest starts. So, if you see two weird people making animal noises and beating up the male cat mascot of the con, that's probably us. If you go to the music video contest, be sure to cheer me on! ^_^;; Mine's the Fushigi Yuugi "Again" video (geez, like I haven't mentioned that enough times...:P) Oh yeah, look for a girl wearing a CardCaptor Sakura costume. That's my sister's friend Kim (she helped with a Feature Film once), so I just wanted to plug her spiff outfit. :) I shall return with many pictures from the con for the next update. See ya!

Wednesday, 7/11/01

-  Today was my offical "Eeek, my in-box is going to eat me.  Better clean it out before it gets me first" day.  So, I have posted some new Fan Mangas that I've been waiting on.  Both stories are entertaining, and very well-drawn.  I hope you'll like 'em.

-  Also, a new winner and a new sentence are up in the Random DBZ Fill in the Blank Contest.

-  Randomness time.  As you may have read on Daizenshuu EX, Mike and I will be attending Shoujocon this Saturday.  I figure the thing is 10 minutes from my house, and I submitted my Fushigi Yuugi music video, so I may as well see what's up.  I went to it last year and it was....ok...I'm expecting it to stay the same, more or less.  Anywho, if you see me there (I'll give more details about it as this week progresses), don't hesitate to come up to me and chat.  It'll be fun!  Just beware of my sly camera.   Ya never know what it may do. :P  In other news, one of my fave new skool sites, Nani, has a new host.   Give it a go.  Plus, thanks for all (all, all, ALL) of the feedback on the new music video!  I would like to bring up, however, that just because I used *one* "hard" song does not mean I'll use another in the future.  This was a one-shot deal!  Enjoy it while it lasts!  And, on an ironic note, I used to get tons of e-mail from people saying "make a Linkin Park video", and now I'm getting "who is Linkin Park" e-mails.  Damned if I do, damned if I don't....:)

Sunday, 7/8/01

-  The reason I haven't  updated in the last few days is all because of today's update.   After months of nagging e-mails from people wanting to make a music video using a song by a particular group, I have finally gone and done so.  Now, don't get the wrong idea.  I'm not doing this because I wanted people to shut up with their requests (ok, maybe that was a small cause).   I made today's new music video because after listening to the song several times, I determined that it would be wonderful for a Trunks music video.  OK, let's get down to it.   My new Music Video is called "Traces of Insanity", a Trunks music video, using the song "Crawling" by Linkin Park.  I really didn't want to use a song by Linkin Park for a music video, because the whole DBZ/Linkin Park video thing is grossly over-done, but the song is just so wonderful, and fits Trunks so nicely that I couldn't resist.  To put it simply, it's a video about how nuts Trunks is in the head.  To read my full-blown, in-depth description of "Traces of Insanity", click here.  There IS an MPEG version of this video available, and I highly recommend you download that version over the RealVideo version. To me, this is the beginning of my of "trying-to-not-make-DBZ-videos-that-suck" stage.  When it comes down to it, I hate most of my Dragonball Z videos, and I have more fun making videos to other animes.  However, this is something I am actually proud of, and I really hope you like it as much as I loved making it.  Feel free to send me feedback if ya like.  Enjoy!

Wednesday, 7/4/01

-  Huzzah, 4th of July!  Ummm...I'm not doing anything today, so I hope you all enjoy the day more than I will. :)  Here's a small update, though!

-  I've added a new translated Trunks Doujinshi.   You can read it here.   'Tis a very cute story.

-  Modified the Spanish part of the Trunks Around the World section, so that translations are now provided for the Mexican dub video clips.  Thanks David, for the translations.

-  Other site news!  DB Vortex is back up, and Aku no Nawabari has a new host.

Friday, 6/29/01

-  It's a grab-bag of goodies here at the ToT on this joyous Friday (it's joyous in that a big party in which many a-teenager will be running around will be thrown at my humble abode today, and that means wonderful photo opportunities for me.  Blackmail!).  First, the Fan Manga page has been updated with a new artist, and some fixed links.

-  There are two new stories on Page 2 of Trunks Cartoons.

-  Operators Are Standing By has had a new product added to it.  Sorry about the broken images.  I guess I lost them in the server move.

-  The Chat is working again.  Oh yeah, I also moved the most recent Feature Film, "DBZ Sells Out", to this server, instead of having it on my school space.

Thursday, 6/28/01

-  Ah, what a lovely, hot summer day.  'Tis perfect for swimming and stealing corn.   Before I go off to do such things, here is a little update for your pleasure.

-  The Sexuality of Trunks has been made increasingly uh....sexy?  Some of the new quotes are quite obvious, while others are a bit of a stretch, however, once you think about them in a perverted context, they can be funny.  Enjoy, you sick little monsters!

-  The Random DBZ Fill in the Blank Contest has a new winner, as well as a new sentence to be mutilated.

-  And now, the ToTs "Sites-With-New-URLs" Update!  Three excellent sites, Dragonball Kenkon, KHOW, and GotenMYz DFW have all relocated to new hosts.

Sunday, 6/24/01

-   Muwahaha!  Finally!  After many uploading problems, I finally managed to get this baby up on the server.  MAJOR thanks go out to USSJTrunks for encoding the original 56 MB MPEG file to a 10 MB DivX file.  Oh, which reminds me...if you want to download this music video, you'll need to have a DivX codec, which you can download from here.  I hope to have a RealVideo file, or a decent sized MPEG version of the video up someday.  So, without furhter delay, here it is: the *final* version of my Otakon Music Video Contest entry, "Again" (Fushigi Yuugi Music Video), which can be found in the Non-DBZ Music Videos section.   I'm extremely pleased with the finished version (which has changed quite a bit from the "Final web version.")  Enjoy!  Oh yeah, and don't forget to check out the DBZ As X-Men: The Movie trailer from yesterday.

-  The FAQ and About Me page were in desperate need of an update, so..I updated them.  I basically just added on to the lists of "animes I've seen", and updated and added questions to the FAQ.

Saturday, 6/23/01

-  I think today's update is a good indication that I have lost my mind. ^_^ A few days ago, Mike of Daizenshuu EX showed me an MPEG someone had made of Evangelion clips set to audio from a Star Wars movie trailer.  We thought, "hey, that's cool, I wish people would make more of those types of things."   That's when it hit us: we'd make our OWN anime movie trailers!  So far, we have made one, but if the response from this one is good enough, we shall make some more!   It's called DBZ As X-Men: The Movie.   You can find it in the Music Videos section (for now).  That brings me to my next update.

-  I reorganized the Music Videos, so that the pages take less time to load.   They are now organized as follows: Recent Music Videos, Archived Music Videos, and Non-DBZ Music Videos (I should note that all of the videos work now.  I think there's only one I haven't re-uploaded yet).  That should make things easier, I hope.  In addition, I have got rid of my lame-o "ratings", and replaced them with the dates in which the videos were made.   I hope this is helpful in seeing how my videos have progressed from sucky to not-quite-so-sucky.  And speaking of music videos, I hope to have the final MPEG of my Otakon music video up today or tomorrow. Stay tuned!

-  Gah, as if DBZ Uncensored wasn't enough, now my server-mate, Hagemiai, is now calling it quits.  Sorry to see ya go, man. ;_;

Thursday, 6/21/01

-  My original plan for today's update was to babble about the fun I've had these last few days, including going to the beach, and burning, and getting shat upon.  However, something that I feel is much more valuable has come up that I believe deserves more attention than my incoherent, self-indulgent rantings.  I've just finished reading the goodbye message of Chris Psaros of DBZ Uncensored, and...I have to comment on it (yeah, I'm slow on the uptake. I haven't been on a computer for a few days, so sue me! :P).  Please people, respect the guy more than I did (hell, we never even linked to each other's sites), and *read what he wrote*.  This piece of writing is unbelievable, depressing, inspiring, and hopeful all at the same time.  It is the epitome of what I think other web masters like me have been feeling for quite some time. To me, it signifies the beginning of the end of the second generation of "old skool" DBZ sites (meaning, ones that started around '97-'98).  It's almost downright scary how  much I can relate to just about every damn last thing he wrote.  I mean, my gosh, most of the stuff he wrote are *exactly the same ideas* I want to express the day I will sit down to write my own retirement reflection.  Gah, I just can't really stress this enough...Anycrap, if you think it's all peaches and cream to run a big DBZ site, think again.  Chris' writing shows how much something you work on for fun can truly take over your life.  It also shows how much it hurts when you realize that you have to separate yourself from it.   Seriously, this is one of the, if not the most, heartfelt works I have ever read in regards to a DBZ web site, and near the end, I was getting kinda misty-eyed.  I've never seen a web master "step down" like this before, but man, the way in which he did it was very throught-provoking.  I think Chris pretty much said what was on the minds of site owners who have been doing this for so long, and I'm glad he expressed what he felt.  I implore each and every one of you out there to please take the time out to read this.  That's all I have to say for now.  I doubt you're reading this Chris, but if you are, good luck in all you do.

Sunday, 6/10/01
-  Ah, my gal Dena has come through again with yet another wonderful Fanart update.  This time around, there are 20 new images for you to feast your eyes on.  Enjoy!

-  I made a new site-type-thing...^_^;  This is a little vain, though, cuz I finally went and created a personal page for all of my random stuff.  It's called Meri's Junk Jungle, and it contains some of my papers for school and other writings, photos, and other crap that I can't really put on any of my other sites.  Check it out if ya get bored. :P

-  Tic Tac Toe With Chibi Trunks and Trunks Concentration finally work again!  Those two are in the Games section.

Friday, 6/8/01

-  Eek, I wasn't expecting my server to be working properly again so soon!  Ummm...I guess that means I should add some stuff.  Heh, I am a tad un-prepared.  Here goes...

-  I've posted a little teaser preview of the new Music Video I'm working on.  Gone are the days of when I'd make shitty videos in 4 hours.  Now, I'm going to spend time on them, as my experience with my Otakon video and award-winning, anime music video maker guru, Scott Metzler, have taught me.  You can download it here, the "Doesn't Really Matter"- Preview clip.

-  Check out Daizenshuu EX for major news on Dragonball stuff!  Not only will the original theme songs (re-done in English) and music be remain in the Dragonball videos, but the eye-catches will now be included on the DVDs and DB videos!  Excellent, now there will be presumably less whining online.  It's all in his new Feature.   Great work, Jon.  Jon's also made a review of Eric Johnson's movie, "Hall of Mirrors".  I am jealous, I didn't get my copy yet. :P When I do, I'll mention it here on the site.

-  Today is the day when I give web shout-outs to my friends with sites you may not know abou, but really deserve attentiont.  They work real hard, so please check 'em out.  Give ADawg's new site, Majin Seishin a go!  It's a stomping ground for his editorials, and other fun things.   I'm also a guest staff member there.  Sean, of former "Saiyajin Fusion Empire" fame has a new site, too!  It's all about his epic fanfic, Chikyujin Chronicles (gah, this link is wrong. Sean, what is it again?).  My great pal Cat of Goku Central had the chance to meet a bunch of our online friends at the recent (I also convinced her to go see Eric Johnson, too, haha!).  Check out her full report here.   And just because they're cool, here are Dragonball Kenkon and Aku No Nawabari and Savage Z.   Shout out to Wendy, who is more obsessed with Raditz than I ever have been or ever will be with Trunks.  It's all at the Tenjoukai.   Ok, I'll shut up now.

-  All the DBZ Scans from the other update days ago are now working!  Gawsh, they're purty.

Tuesday, 6/5/01

-   Wow....I can't believe how long it's been since I've made one of these.  For the first time in nearly half a year, and brand-spiffy-new Feature Film (located on my school space, cuz this server still won't let me upload stuff other than html files) has been made! *super gasp!*  It's called, "DBZ Sells Out", and it's all about the perils that the Z-Gang go through trying to make web sites, merchandising, TV shows, and movies, just to make a few extra bucks for a certain evil, scheming company.  I really hope you enjoy it, seeing as how I haven't produced one of these babies in such a long time.  Let me know what ya think. Special thanks go out to Mike (Mr. "I'm Too Sexy For Your Cat") and MG (Mr. "I'm Too Sexy For A New Host") for helping out with this one.  Well then, I have to write a page and go to a concert all in one night, so I'll be seein' you again laters. :P   Have fun!

Monday, 6/4/01

-  Go look at new DBZ Scans.  Too stressed for real update.  Places to go, people to see, concerts to drive to, bye.
Update:  Sorry, the images don't seem to be working.  Everytime I try to upload something other than a small html file, I get an error message.  This happened when I first moved to this server, and it was temporary.  Hopefully, this will be temporary as well.  In the meantime, I'll ready some fun things I've been working on.  I might even upload a preview of my new music vid to my school web space for the time being. Carry on!

Wednesday, 5/30/01

-  Right off the bat, I wanna give a big ol' thanks to all the people who have been sending feedback on the Philly trip section.   I'm glad to know people are actually checking it out!  Well, my summer class just started, which is why I haven't been able to get site stuff done in days.   However, I plan to get back on track, effective immediately.  *snoooore*   Anywho, today, there are six new Trunks Fanfics for you to read.  You can send your submissions to Majin Kenny, who is now able to go through all the fanfics again.

-  An interview with Laura Bailey, the voice actess for Chibi Trunks, has been posted to the Trunks Voice Actor Info page (wow, I've been adding plenty of stuff to this page lately!).  This interview is taken from the Beckett magazine.  Thanks go out to KRaZyKiTtYkLaWz7 for sending this to me.

Sunday, 5/27/01

-  I swear to you, today's update is the biggest one I have made in a long time.  It may not seem like much at first, but seriously, this took more time than anything I have worked on in a while.  But it is damn worth it!  As you may know, yesterday, Mike and I headed off to Philly to meet Eric Johnson and Sonny Strait, who were making an appearance at a mall as part of the DBZ Hummer tour.  It took nearly all day (ahh, vegging out is goooood), but I have finally completed my report and media based on yesterday's amazing experience.  It's titled, "Meri, Mike and Eric Walk Into a Bar....No Big Story", and it contains many movie clips, photos, screencaps, a fun sound file, and a summary of our trip.  I really hope you'll check it out (and maybe you'll even like it, too)!  I worked very hard on this thing, believe it or not ^_^;   You can find the link to it in both the Special Features section and the Trunks Voice Actor Info page.  Have fun, and have a great Memorial Day weekend!

Friday, 5/25/01

-  Happy Friday, peeps.  I got off from work today, so I figured I should make an update this morning!  Later, I'm gonna see Pearl Harbor.  I hope it's good!  Well, tomorrow is the big day.   Ohh, am I ever nervous!  I'm definiately gonna bring my digital camera, and I'm thinking I might bring a video camera so I can make movie clips later on from the experience of meeting the voices of Trunks and Krillin with Mike (hmm, I do believe his site is down for the time being).  Be afraid.  I know I am!  On with the goods..

-  I've made a few Chibi Trunks wallpapers for the Trunks Wallpapers section.

-  Thanks to Presea, a bunch of hot new Contributed Trunks Doujinshi images have been posted.  And speaking of doujinshi, the blook I won off eBay arrived in mail today.  There are two reasons why this one is special: 1) It's a drama, which a type I usually don't buy.  I love my comedy doujinshis!  2) It's nearly 70 pages long.  So, if I ever want to translate it, it's going to take a long time...but I'll have scans of choice pictures from it up soon!

-  I finally got around to updating the Links page, huzzah!  There's plently of really good sites in this batch, so I recommend you take some time out to view them!

-  For the time being, please do not send any Fanfics to Majin Kenny.  He needs some time to go through all the current submissions. Thanks!

Wednesday, 5/23/01

-   So...tired...so very, very tired.  Working...summer class in one week...stuff....work on Otakon video and fan dub parody (I am the great Washuu!)...yikes.   *brightens up* But me and Mike are going to see Eric Johnson and Sonny Strait on the weekend, so horray!   I am revived!  Yesss, and with that said, I have summoned enough energy (Genki dama!? nah.) to make a DBZ Scans update.   Again, this is a lovely batch of huge-ass, good quality pictures that I'm sure people like MG will put to disturbing use. Enjoy them!

-  A cute, reminds-me-of-when-I-was-a-15-year-old-Trunks-teenybopper-type Fan Manga has been posted today.  It's adorable, if you're the type of person who likes to fantasize about things. :P

-  Expect Chibi Trunks media in all forms real soon.  Also, the Links will be updated at some point.  No, I haven't forgotten them...it's just that it's a tedious update, so I wanna save it for a rainy day.  *Looks outside* God dammit.....

Thursday, 5/17/01

-   Alrighty, so it looks like not all the new DBZ tapes are messed up.  Thanks to all those who e-mailed me.  Whee, I can buy the stuff now. :)  Before I forget, please don't send any Fanart to Dena for the time being.  her computer is busted, so she can't deal with submissions right now.  When she's available again, I'll mention it here on the main page.  Let's move on...

-  I just can't stop doing Trunks Doujinshi translations!  I swear, I'm addicted to it.  I hope it's worth it, though!  I wouldn't want all this work to be for nothing. *sniff sniff*  This time around, an all *new* book entirely has been added to the doujinshi archives.  Enter Tora Tora, a crazy little book just about Trunks.  The images are hilarious, it's a fun ride.  I have translated three stories for your reading pleasure.

-  And speaking of "reading pleasure", why not give the new editorials posed in Enlightened Ones  a looksie?   :)  A Dawg, I love your work, mister.

-  4 new Trunks Puzzles have been made!   The puzzles are located in the Games section.

Tuesday, 5/15/01

-  Yikes, the ToT with a news update!?  Say it isn't so! (*little voice- "it isn't so!*).   According to Trujita and Koganei, all the new Dragonball tapes that came out today are defective!  There's a blue line that goes across the screen, and therefore, is impossible to see or hear anything.  Don't buy them!  *whew* Thanks for the info.  I was going to buy them tomorrow, too...Thank goodness for DVDs!  Ummm, my new job has really got me busy!  I now work for my University, so I'm rather tied up right now.  However, I should be able to make a real update tomorrow, yup yup.  Until then, ja ne, my cuties.

Monday, 5/14/01

-  Kuso, I hate bumping my own updates.  Check this out, if you haven't already.  Ok, now that that thing is out of the way, time to continue with Monday's treats.

-  I am a lean, mean, translating machine!  In the Trunks Doujinshi section, two more Golden Lucky 5 stories have been translated for your reading pleasure.  I hope you like them!  Thanks for the help, Napiersama!

-  The Fan Manga page finally has a new addition, courtesy of the wonderful and talented Darci-san!  It's a brand new "Trunks Time" story.  Don't worry, it's just as sick as the rest of Darci's work. :D  Oh, now that I'm done with Cowboy Bebop, maybe I'll make a music video dedicated to it *evil smirk*.

Sunday, 5/13/01

-  The super duper fun project is done!  Ok, so it isn't for the ToT, but I helped with some of it, so I feel it is my duty and pleasure to give it much pluggage.  I present to you the new Feature over at Daizenshuu EX.  It's kind of like....well, it's...umm...Allright, I can't describe it.  It's odd, funny, nutty, and took months of work.  It's Daizenshuu EX: The Series!  In case you were wondering, I play the characters "Fuck" and "Gay MrE".  I also made the title graphics! ^_^; I urge you to download the audio that goes with the story.  You won't be disappointed!

-  For anyone who cares, here is some news on our favorite dub Trunks voice actor, Eric Johnson.  According to the mailing list that I'm on all about the movie Eric was in, Eric has been in a few Sherwin Williams commercials.  I haven't seen any yet...;_; If anyone out there has seen it, and can send me a clip of it, I'd really appreciate it.  Also, it says that he "has been busy doing character voices and writing scripts for the popular anime series Dragon Ball."  Script writing?   Wow, that's news to me.  Pretty cool. *nods*  For all those who don't know, Eric will be playing the role of the Tenkaichi Budokai Announcer.  He's also been co-producing some short films.  All this info has been added to the Trunks Voice Actor Info section.  Now if you'll excuse me, I'm gonna waste my last day before my new job begins by finishing off the Cowboy Bebop series.  Spike, you little darling, you.... Oh, and happy 17th b-day, Alyssa.

Saturday, 5/12/01

-  *cough* So, "it" isn't ready yet.  Once it is done, however, I shall mention it here on the main page.  Sorry 'bout that.  In the meantime, please enjoy today's update!  I've made a bunch of new Trunks Screencaps, and they've been posted to GT Trunks- Page 2.   Since these are from some GT fansubs (gawd, I haven't used fansubs as a source for screencaps in so long.  I feel so dirty!), the images are smaller than usual, like when I take caps from commercially available goods.  But in any case, they're still rare GT Trunks pics, so I hope you will like them!  Ja ne for now.  I shall come back when "it" is done. :P  Umm, I was gonna have a Feature Film ready for this weekend, but that doesn't look like it'll happen.  I'll definitely have one made next week, though! :)

-  I updated the Links page on my Newbie's Guide to Anime Music Videos site, for a lack of anything better to do.

Thursday, 5/10/01

-  With school completed for the time being, I got time to do odd things, like doujinshi translations.  Wow, it's been a while since I've exercised my Japanese skills, so this was quite the difficult task.  In any case, please check out the Trunks Doujinshi page (which is now working again) to see my new Golden Lucky 5 translations!   Remember that since these stories are un-flipped, you have to read them from right to left.

-  12 lovely and large DBZ images have been added to Scans- Page 2.  I look forward to seeing how MG will mutilate these new images. ^_^

-  It's coming.  Tomorrow.  Oh yeah, be sure to view yesterday's Music Video if you haven't done so already. :)

Wednesday, 5/9/01

-  Yatta!   My finals are done, and school is over.  I have about three weeks downtime 'till my summer class begins, so I shall use that time wisely for making fun goodies for the site.  I had a good time celebrating the end of my school year yesterday, ahhh...^_-  And now, on with the updates.

-  It only took about 5-6 months, but I finished the preliminary final version of my Otakon Music Video submission!  You can find it in the "Non-DBZ" part of the Music Videos page.  Here it is: "Again"- Fushigi Yuugi Music Video (Final Web Version).  I'm gonna remake the *final* final version on a better computer, and ship it off to the contest from there.  But for the purposes of this site, the video I'm posting today is most likely what you'll see at the Otakon, if my video makes it in the contest.  Any feedback or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.  This is my favorite music video that I've made...it's my widdle pride and joy!

-  The Fanfics section has been updated with 9 new stories.  I hope you'll enjoy them.  Send all submissions to MajinKenny.  Remember, your fanfics *must* be about Trunks (remember who the focus of this site is, kids).

Monday, 5/7/01

-  Holy crap, this Monday is off to a great start!  Three weeks ago, I re-submitted the ToT to the Anipike, cuz of the url change.  However, I never would have thought that the ToT would be picked as of of the Weekly Web Picks... for a *second* time!  The first time that something ToT-related was picked by the Anipike was back in 1999 for the Feature Films. As far as I know, this is the only DBZ site to be spotlighted not once, but twice by the Anipike.  That's pretty neat, and I'm real happy.  I guess this means I'm doing something right. ^_^   Anywhooo, let us continue with today's shizzat.

-  I've added some (skimpy) info and some pictures of Laura Bailey, the dub voice actress of Chibi Trunks, to the Trunks Voice Actor Info page.

-  The Sexuality of Trunks has new quotes posted!

-  There are two new bios up in the Look into the Future page.

Sunday, 5/6/01
-  Wow, if I told you I spent 2+ hours on this update, you probably wouldn't believe me, heh.   'S ok, cuz I like to pretend that it's worth it.  Today, there's a fabulous new Fanart update.  30 truly wonderful new images have been added to Page 3 of the Fanart section.  6 of those are made by me, huzzah!  I've been wanting to post them up for a while now.  Collectively, I call it "DB Prom 2001", where you can find pics of Dragonball couples all dressed up and purty-like.  I hope you like them... I worked real hard on them ^_^;  I should mention that a *lot* of the fanarts this time around are of Trunks.  Don't worry fellas, there are many hot chicks in my prom drawings, so go check those out to make up for it.  Thanks go out to Dena for handling the submissions.

- Alrighty, my final exams are Monday and Tuesday.  I wish to be thought of as a living zombie until the end of them. :P However, once I'm done, you can look forward to a crap-load of new goodies from me.  I have a new idea for a music video I want to do, as well as a Feature Film, and a new section.  See ya soon!!

Friday, 5/4/01

-  When I went to the mall yesterday, being the pathetic fangirl that I am, I bought a Trunks keychain and a bunch of DBZ cards.  Huzzah, scannable content!  So, I scanned a few of the cards and posted them to DBZ Scans- Page 2.   These images are from the early Buu era, and are really high quality.  I hope you'll check them out.  More scans to come at a later date.

-  And now, I bring you the Friday Super Fuji Fun Time Plug of the Day.  Man, I don't even know how to give this an introduction... it's the coolest thing I've read in a while.  Then again, I'm a tad biased since I was around when most of this editorial was being written.  I'm talking about the new Staff Thought over at Daizenshuu EX.  Man oh man, do I ever feel sorry for whoever is at the receiving end of this editorial.   Mike-boy, I'm jealous of your writing style.  Can you write my paper for me? (ok, so we're in the same Japanese history class, but write mine for me anyways ;_;)   A word to the wise:  if you want to write an effective and convincing editorial, research and well-thought out ideas really help.  Ok, that was my random advice for the day that pretty much sucks.  Happy Friday!

Tuesday, 5/1/01

- May day, May day!  Ah, the weather is to die for, and I ...  I am dying from cabin fever.   It's finals time, so I'm writing papers and studying to the point where I forget what it looks like outside my house. ;_; It's so tragic.  Fortunately, I should be done with all that school crap in a week, so stress will go bye-bye soon.  On with today's update (update!? I should be studying! ARG!).

-  I worked on one of my super fuji fun-time sections, the Trunks Doujinshi page!  Bunches of loverly pics have been added to Misc. Trunks Doujinshi.   I think I accidently put some "Contributed Pics" in this batch, so if you see your scans in the wrong place, let me know.

-  There is a new winner and sentence up in the Random DBZ Fill in the Blank Contest.

-  As I mentioned a few days ago, I've been working on a new site, and it's finally done.  It's called "A Newbie's Guide to Making Anime Music Videos".  This was for a project for school, but I figured it would tie in well with the ToT in that I get a lot of music video questions.  With this little site, I hope that all your questions will be answered.  Enjoy!

-  Gah, a lot of sites have new urls!  I won't go through and fix them now cuz there's a shit-load of them, so I shall save that for another update. :P

-  I added a banner to DBC:WDC below cuz the ToT wouldn't be complete without more clutter on the main page. ^_^

Sunday, 4/29/01

-  I did one of my favorite kinds of updates today... screencaps!  Damn, I have way too much fun making those images.  For your visual amusement, 13 new Chibi Trunks Screencaps have been added to the Trunks Screencaps section.  I hope you like them.   I bought a couple of GT fansubs today (someone shoot me), so I should be making a bunch of GT Trunks 'caps next weekend, hopefully.  Stay tuned for that.

-  Gah, today, is a sad, sad day.  I just read that one of my favorite sites, Saiyajin Fusion Empire, will be closing next month. ;_; Sad am I...  I suggest you give this site a final looksie before it ascends to DBZ web site heaven.  It's one of my top picks for DBZ sites. Ever.  SJFE will be missed muchly. *runs away and whines*

Saturday, 4/28/01

-  Wow, the last few days have been just plain weird.  First, a car accident wound up in my backyard, then, my computer literally died for a day and then went back to normal, and then I did some work for a project for another site (that will be mentioned soon, heheh. Be *very* afraid*).  Anycrap, I've managed to do just a little bit of work for this site.  A couple of new, high quality Chibi Trunks scans have been added to the Trunks Scans page.  Expect some Chibi Trunks screencaps in a few days, too.  Carry on!

Wednesday, 4/25/01

-  Ok all you happy fanboys and girls out there, it's the update you've all been wating for!   New Trunks Fanfics!  MajinKenny's da man.  He's selected some fine fanfics to be posted this week (I should mention that new fanfics will be posted weekly, or bi-weekly, depending on how many submissions there are), one of which includes the third installment of "Pan and Trunks' First Date" by TurtleEmm.  Remember that all Fanfics must be sent to MajinKenny.

-  Updated the Trunks Drinking Game with a single Trunks drinkable quality (does that even make sense? :P).

-  If you didn't catch this before the site went down, I'll post it again for all those who missed it. Shelly sent me a very cute song she made just for the ToT!  You can listen to it here.

-  My former server-mates have found a new home!  That's right, I'm talking about my buddies over at Daizenshuu EX. They have a new host, and are back in business... with a bang!  I highly recommend reading Mike's Staff Thought all about DBZ DVDs.  Also, be sure to give his new Music section a peep.  I was at his dorm part of the time  he was developing this extensive music database, so I know how much effort he put in to it.  *sniff* 'Tis a thing of beauty!

-  My new site is just about done.  Just a few more finishing touches, and it'll be finished.  I'll probably "debut" it tomorrow.

Sunday, 4/22/01
- Huzzah, an actual content update! Today, I've not only re-organized the Trunks in English section, but I've also added a new sub-section for dub Season 5 Chibi Trunks sounds. Aside from Trunks sounding like an 8-year-old mobster, I think the sounds are pretty fun. Enjoy!

Friday, 4/20/01

-  Whoa man, it's 420!  Time to get high!.... too bad I despise smoking. *cough* I love you loft *cough*  Anyways, could you believe I'm making this update while writing a paper?  This is called "Meri is lazy and can't write a stinking 2-page Art H
istory paper, so I'll make a bs update instead"!  So, to take my mind off things, I've updated the Links page with just a couple of new items.  Noteworthy places this time around include: Planet Z, Nani, Kakarot's House of Wonder, and Red Ribbon Beauty.   Hey, I recently discovered that I can get this site more popular by putting down other web masters!  So, to the web mistress of Temple *O Gokuo, yer ass is mine, you dumb skank. :P

-  Since Android18, the girl who helped with the Fanfics, has seemingly fallen off the face of the planet, my friend MajinKenny has graciously volunteered his time out to be in charge of the Fanfics!  Please send all submissions to him.

Wednesday, 4/18/01

-  Yatta!   The ToT is finally alive and kicking again!  About 85% of the files have been uploaded, with the exception of some music videos and movie clips (which will be uploaded later), and files beginning with the letter U-Z (long story).  All I can say is wow *sigh*.  I never want to have to go through this again.  If you missed my long-winded speech about the site at the old location going down, please read what I wrote at the bottom of the update list.  Honestly, I don't think many people know what's it's like to attempt to transfer 5000+ files from one host to another.  It's stressful and a real bitch and I wouldn't wish such a thing upon people I dislike, but now, I hope you can enjoy the goodies here again.  I am relieved it's all up again *super, super sigh* Some things are still missing, and I'm in the process of retrieving them.  No, I don't need any help, thank you. ^_^  And PLEASE don't e-mail me telling me that there are some broken links.  I'm well aware of that.   *triple sigh*  Now that that's out of the way, let's have fun again!  As long as you're willing to keep coming back for dis weird shit, I'm willing to deliver.   See ya soon!

Sunday, 4/15/01
-
First up, Happy Easter to all those who celebrate it.  Supposedly, I do, but....ehh, I got family coming over today, so I guess that means I celebrate it.  If you understand the song lyric in the title bar, you get a jellybean!  Last night, Mike and I went to go see New Found Glory, The Youth Ahead, Midtown, and many others in the first annual Surf and Skate Fest in Asbury Park, NJ.  We had to wait 8 hours before NFG played, but hot damn, it was so incredibly worth it.  They put on a great show.  I lost my watch and sunglasses there, and got kicked a few times (short people and crowd surfing don't mix. Save me!), but in the end, I enjoyed it muchly.  I think Mike will be writing a full blown review of the event at his temporary url, so stay tuned for that.  I don't have that much to add to it other than I can't wait to see NFG again... and my feet really hurt.  Whee, only the Warped Tour, Blink 182, and 2 *N Sync concerts to go!  I have warped musical tastes.  Deal. :P

I've been having trouble uploading again, but today, it seems like it's working fine.   I'll upload shit on my crappy 56k modem, so I'll see how long that takes.   Hopefully, I'll be done uploading by the end of the day, if my compy doesn't konk out on me.  Then, I have to go an edit hundreds of html files associated with the ToT.  I haven't gotten around to doing any of that yet.  I'm a baaaddd widdle web mistress.  Anycrap, when all is said and done, I *hope* to have this all done by Tuesday.  Until then, don't get sick on Easter candy!

Oh yeah, I almost forgot!  "The Producers" on Broadway was the best play I've ever seen in my life.  It was so sick and twisted and funny.  I highly recommend seeing it, if you can manage to pay $100+ per ticket for a show that will be sold out for many months ahead. :)  Matthew Broderick was so talented and cute!   I wanted to take him home with me in a box.  Damn you, Sarah Jessica Parker!   Whee, I love how the main page has turned into a place for my nonsensical ranting.   I can get away with it since no one is really reading this, huzzah!

Monday, 4/9/01

-   After not being able to upload pretty much anything all weekend (heh, sorry, things happen. :P), it is time for me to seriously get cracking and move everything to this new location. I was having trouble with moving files over, but it looks like everything is working fine now. Expect this site to be back in full effect any time between Wednesday and Friday. Tomorrow, I'm going into NYC with my family to see the new Broadway show, "The Producers". Yep, it's based on that old Mel Brooks movie you may have seen. I can't wait to see how they will pull off "Springtime for Hitler". It'll be great. Have a good day!

Friday, 4/6/01
-   Hey DBZ freaks, Meri here. Well, eFront has gone and decided that it will no longer host sites any more. To read the full story on this, please go here.   That means no more ToT at sreanime.net, or Daizenshuu EX (which is for the time being, located here!). Oh well, that's that. What's done is done, and I have no problem with moving on. I would just like to thank SREDBZ for taking me in a year ago in my time of need. Now, flash forward to the present, where I'd like to thank Tapion for taking in the ToT here at www.dbcollection.com! Right now, I'm still in the process of uploading files, and I hope to be done with that in a few days. However, the media files will take longer to upload, for I have not yet decided what I what I want to do about that area of the site. In any case, welcome to the new home of the ToT! The usually wackiness will ensue shortly. If you could upate your bookmarks and links (that's http://www.dbcollection.com/trunks), that would be greatly appreciated.

Now, to move on to more serious business. I've been working on the Temple O' Trunks for three years. I'm in college. I have friends, family, and a boyfriend to worry about. I just have other things to attend to in my life that take precedence to working on this site. As much as I love working on the ToT, I can't deny the fact that DBZ and Trunks aren't the biggest things in my life right now, and haven't been for quite some time. Just because my love for Trunks and DBZ has died down considerably over the years doesn't mean my passion for expressing my creativity through these things has. I work on this site because I love to provide you guys entertainment. It really makes me happy. It's as simple as that. ^_^ However, if something should happen along the line that would threaten the existence of this site, I doubt I would continue with it. I've been on more hosts than I can remember. Moving to new locations is stress that I won't really want to bother with, but I keep moving because I don't want to let you all down.... I'd feel guilty that way, and I don't know why. Sounds kinda silly, huh? :) But, enough of that brooding crap. So long as the ToT is able to say alive here, I'll keep working on it. When the right time comes, I'll stop working on the site on *my* terms, not because some server problems won't let me. Catch y'all real soon. Stay spiffy.

Wednesday, 4/4/01

-  First order of business today, a bunch of Portuguese Trunks sounds from when he fights Cell have been posted to Trunks Around the World.  Cell sounds.... interesting in Portuguese. :P Thanks Michan!

-  In Trunks Cartoons, some new funny stories are now up on Page 2.   This section was getting pretty large, so I divded it into two pages.  I would have had a lot more cartoons to post, but AOL was dumb and deleted a bunch of my old submissions that were lying in my inbox.  So, if you send me a story within the last month, and you don't see it posted today, please send it to me again.

-  Two new pages of Vejita4Eva's Fan Manga, "Walk This World", are now available for viewing.

-  I received the cutest item in my e-mail inbox yesterday!   Shelly and her sister made a ToT Song for me, so I figured I may as well post it here.  It's very easy to sing along to, so why don't you make an ass out of yourself and give it a go!  It's quite fun!

Monday, 4/2/01

- Geez, I really have to stop making these updates from school...being on a T1 here spoils me. ^_^ Anywhooo, this afternoon, I have some new stuff to share. It's nothing out of the ordinary, but I hope you'll like looking at what there is to see.

- In compliance with my getting rid of link submissions time, I have posted a new batch of Links that I have found myself and liked, were sent to me, or were shown to me by friends (thanks, A Dawg!). Highlights this time around include Aku No Nawabari, Majin Gohan.com, Savage Z, and Twisted World. I also update links to sites that have new urls.

- Three very good editorials have beed added to the Enlightened Ones page. The got some vocal opinions in this batch, hoo boy. ^_-

12:00 am

-  Hey gang!  I hope you enjoyed the Temple O* Gokuo (spelled wrong on purpose) April Fool's Day gag.  I know I certainly had a blast making it (I wasted a whole 20 minutes of my life on that thing, dear god!).  Thanks go out to Cat of Goku Central for having the idea of our sites switching places for the day.  What?  You say you thought the site was hacked?  Oh me oh my, how gullible of you!  This server is super secure (yay VPN), and I doubt that would ever happen.  Sooo..... out of 35 e-mails I got regarding yesterday's joke, a mere three people got that it was just that: a joke.   To me, that's kind of sad ^_^.  Look at the calendar, my friends!  It's the first of April!  *sigh* Man, I have to wait another 365 days to play with your heads in my dopey way again. :P  It's a little too late at night to have a real content update, but I will have some stuff up by the afternoon.  Have a fantastic and prank-free day.  Oh yeah!  Yesterday, VegettoEX (who also was not hacked by Alaskans) and I ventured out to NYC to see Akira, all nice and digital-like on the silver screen.  What an experience that was... I'll have more to say on that expedition laters. :)

Saturday, 3/31/01

- With the new commercial DBZ videos out, I was able to remake another Music Video! Today, it's a higher quality (and higher screen resolution!) version of the super girly video of mine, "He's So Shy: THESE Are the Men of DBZ?!". Not much was changed in this video from the original, except for some minor timing elements, and video quality is just much better than before. I hope you like it as much as I liked re-making it. :)

Friday, 3/30/01
-  First off, I wanna say how shocked I am at how many people have e-mailed me saying they've played The Trunks Drinking Game.  Wow...I didn't think you'd guys actually *play* it!   Good going.  Now, on with the update (and happy friday to all y'all working for the weekend!)

-  After at least a month with no new additions, the Fanart section has been updated with 21 images.  I made an attempt at using Photoshop to make some art, and I really am pleased with the results! *pats self on back* Oh yeah, check out other people's works, too. :P   Remember to send all submissions to Dena!

-  I've updated the About Me and FAQ sections, simply because there was a lot of out-dated info and pictures in both places.

-  Eric Johnson's e-mail address has been added to the Trunks Voice Actor Info page.

Thursday, 3/29/01

- For all you video-holics out there, I've posted 5 new English Trunks Movie Clips. These dubbed clips are from the episode when Trunks goes home to the future and kills the Androids. Compare them to the Japanese version clips that are already up, and notice some of the differences. It's fun! It seems like a lot of people missed this episode when it first aired, so here's your chance to catch up on what you may have missed.

- There's a winner and a new sentence up in Random DBZ Fill in the Blank Contest.

-  Talk about working on a whim.  Today, I whipped a new section that I had an idea for today in my Intro to Communication class (aren't I such a good widdle student?).  It's a brand new addition to the  Games area called The Trunks Drinking Game.  C'mon, what character site would be complete without a drinking game!?  Anycrap, have fun with it.  Try not to get too terribly wasted. :P

As I mentioned yesterday, I made a bunch of music videos over the break, and there's no time like the present to go and post them now! They are both non-DBZ Music Videos, so you'll find them at the bottom of the page. The first one is the newest version of my almost completed Otakon 2001 Music Video Contest submission entry, "Again". I'm really loving how this is turning out, and I hope you will, too. :) Beware- there are quite a bit of Fushigi Yuugi spoilers in it. The second is a non-anime video all-together. It's called "Rumpshaker", and I have to thank Melanie for all the help with it. This vid was made in celebration of a similar video we made one year earlier. Giddy girls ride space cowboys! That's that! Enjoy.

-
I've decided to get rid of Link submission periods because, well, they just poot. I'll be posting a bunch of new links to sites that I have recently found and liked in a few days. That is all.

-  Hot DAMN, that was one helluva break!!!! YEEEEEEHAAAAAAW!!!!!!!!!  You may have noticed that myself and Daizenshuu EX have not updated in a while.   We decided that we hate you all and don't wanna do jack shit for any of you weasels!  Just kidding! :)  Allow me to explain what happened.  We couldn't update because our access to our FTP accounts was blocked.  I won't go into the reasoning of why this happened since it's a long, boring, and ugly story of when advertisers go bad (coming to FOX!).  In any case, ToT is back whether you like it or not, although I have enjoyed not having to worry about the site more than anything.   ^_^  To all those who didn't mind that I couldn't update, I love you.   Thanks for respecting the problems we were facing on the www.animenetwork.com server.  To everyone else: fuck you.  Your life will go on if I don't make a stinking update.

Well, it's good to be back, and what timing.  This is the three year anniversary of the Temple O' Trunks!  *claps* I'm amazed that it's been around this long, and I fully intend to keep this monster up for as long as I can.  Just keep in mind that this break from the site has spoiled me.  It's gonna be weird getting back into the habit of updating, but I'll see what I can do.  School is very important to me right now, and that takes precedence over everything at present.

Here is some happy news for all you Eric Johnson fans that I'm sure you'll get a kick out of!  During the break, Eric gave me a new e-mail address that will be used for fan mail!  How nice!  Now you all can stop bugging me for his e-mail, har har har.  So, if you'd like to contact the voice of Trunks, you can e-mail Eric Johnson here!   Please be gentle.  He's a great person. ^_^

Now for things to come in the future.... as you know, the new dub Saiyaman tapes came out last week.  Chibi Trunks made his first appearance in them, so I suppose I should make some clips of him!  At first, I wasn't sure what to make of his voice.  I thought it was utter crap, actually.  However, as the epsidoes progressed, he sounded nice and bratty by the time he was kickin' in the second tape.   When I have time (which won't be soon), I'll add some stuff of that!  Come to think of it, I found the new tapes to be rather enjoyable, in their corny, bad dub kinda way. There were a few cute jokes in there (the whole "Gohan, keep your pants up" thing was very amusing), so it's something neat to watch on a rainy day. :P

In addition, I have worked on a few music videos in my absense.  My   Fushigi Yuugi music video for the Otakon is 75% done, so I'll upload that tomorrow and post it for your visual amusement.  I also have a few others that I'll have to post up at some point.  Stay tuned!

Guess that's all for now.  I'm rather taken a-back by this whole being able to update again thing.  If I had my way, I'd still be on a break, but I should deliver da goods to y'all!  See ya soon.

Friday, 3/2/01

-   I normally don't do anything like this, but today I thought I would make an exception. My good ol' pal Leda-chan has sent a truly hilarious Trunks Cartoon that I had to simply go ahead and post. Seriously, this is the best submission I have ever gotten.... It's an edited doujinshi, but it's still really good. I don't wanna give the plot away, so you'll have to check it out for yourself ^_^. There has been another new Cartoon added as well, so be sure to give that a looksie. Remember, the Temple O' Trunks does not endorse the use of drugs in any way, shape or form. :) Oh yes, tonight, I hope to make a new music video, so stay tuned for that this weekend.

Tuesday, 2/20/01

-   It looks like Geocities decided to be a big poop and not allow hotlinking files from other sites anymore.  As a result, there have been a lot of broken links out and about in the Fan Manga section.  Some things have been uploaded to new locations, so the Darci's "Trunks Time Collection" and my "Homeroom Blues" stories are now working again!

-  A new, very nice Trunks Desktop Theme has been added, thanks to David.

-  Two editorials are now up in Enlightened Ones.

Sunday, 2/25/01

-   Huzzfrickinzah, my midterms are over!  Wheee, less stress than usual shall ensue (barely).  This weekend, I've posted a butt-load of new images in Trunks Doujinshi- Page 2.  They're all very loverly. ^_^  Sorry, I haven't been able to work on the translations lately....

-  Got a winner and a new sentence up in Random DBZ Fill in the Blank Contest.

Tuesday, 2/20/01

-   The day of freedom (meaning, end of midterms) is upon us (meaning, me)! Before that day come, please enjoy the numerous Trunks Cartoons that have been posted. Good day!

Sunday, 2/18/01

-   We're coming into the home stretch! Only one more midterm to go...and then...and them....beautiful freedom!  Wahahahaha (that is, until it's time for finals)!   After this last exam, the stress level should definitely be down, and that is a good thing.  Between studying and pulling out my hair and driving all over the state, I was able to make a spiffay update today.  Please enjoy!

-  Added three new Fan Manga stories today.  I also slightly modified the look of the page. ^_^

-  7 new images are up in Scans- Page 2.

-  Got a new funny Trunks pic posted in Trunks POTW.

Friday, 2/16/01

-   My, my, my, has it ever been a busy week.  I still have one more exam and one paper to do within the next week, so please bear with me.  Such is the life of a busy college student.  The only thing I was able to update today (in the midst of study for a loverly Art History exam) was some mad sweet sexy French Trunks mp3's to the Trunks Around the World section.  Mucho thanks go out to always wonderful Roselyne for encoding the sounds. ^_^  Enjoy!

-  Because you demanded it, the link to the down Fanfic, "Walk This World", has been found at an all new location.  While I personally don't care for fanfics, this is one of the few that I've ever read, and really, really liked.  I hope you will, too! :)

-  Good lord, you simply must check out this parody site called "Dragonball Community:  We Don't Care!".  *wipes tear from eye*  I've always wanted to do a site like this, so I'm glad someone finally got around to doing so!  'Tis a thing of beauty, it is.  It's a riot, so check it out if you can spare some time!

Monday, 2/12/01

-   One exam down, 2 to go.  Sorry gang, but I have a lot of studying to do, so my current doujinshi translations are only half-way done.  I plan on finishing them up at school tomorrow, and posting them in the evening.  Stay tuned for that. ^_^   And now, for today's update...

-  Yes, yes, I know the chat room blows.  It looks like my plan for getting an mIRC chat fell through for the time being.   However, thanks to the suggestion of chat regular, Meli-chan, a new Chat Room has been made!  Yeah, it ain't the best, but it's certainly better than the old one (I hope). :P

-  In Animerica Vol. 9, Issue 1, a very, very small review of the History of Trunks dub video has been provided.  While not as well done as reviews I've seen on the web, I was glad to see the video get at least some attention in the popular mag (although, it woulda been cooler if they did a review of the DVD).  I won't post the whole review, but I will show you the last part of it, which I think is something we can all pretty much agree with:

"For the soundtrack for the English dub, the distributor decided to replace the original score with a nonstop array of inappropriate rock songs plastered indiscriminately over the action.  The tape box includes a label announcing 'Music by Dream Theater, Bootsy Collins & Buckethead, Slaughter, and more.' Whatever such a label actually encourages youthful music fans to buy the tape or, conversely, discourages some of the series' diehard fans remains to be seen."

"Remains to be seen", my ass.  The guys at Animerica don't go online much, I guess. :)

Sunday, 2/11/01

-   Geez, I'm really churning out these music videos like there's no tomorrow. :P  Today's video is a non-Dragonball treat.  It's a Sailor Moon music vid based on the Sailor Moon R movie!  There are two versions of this video:  You can download either "Carry On Dancing"- High Quality (12.2 MB) or "Carry On Dancing"- Lower Quality (6.1 MB).  I made this video on a whim last night, but I think it turned out, really, really well.  The quality is amazing, too (even in the low-quality version), since I used clips from the SMR DVD.  Thanks go out to VegettoEX for letting me use his DVD and computer to make this vid.

-  I'm currently working on another doujinshi translation.  I hope to have it up tonight or tomorrow, depending on how much studying I get done (three exams in one week, eeek!).

Friday, 2/9/01

-   Wheeee haw!  I finally finished up the music video remake I've been working on!  This music video is one of the more popular ones on the site, and I'm glad I was able to remake it, since I think the original is a piece of garbage.  Here it is, the Vegeta Music Video: Break Me (Version 2.0). This version sports much better quality than the old one, and has some new, crazy clips.  I hope you like it as much as I enjoyed making it.

-  Holy god, there's an new English Trunks voice!  Heh, well, sorta.  This Trunks voice isn't in the FUNi dub.  The new English Trunks voice I'm talking about is a part of the Holland dub of Dragon Ball Z.  I've known about this for awhile, but was sworn to secrecy and couldn't mention anything about it....-_-; This is dubbed by...*dun dun dun* The Ocean Group, of DBZ Seasons 1 & 2, Ranma 1/2, Gundam Wing, and Escaflowne fame.  Yeah, remember them?  The actors who could actually *act*?  Anycrap, they're doing a DBZ dub for Holland.  Neat, eh?  Interestingly enough, these new episode include Trunks' appearances.  VegettoEX was kind enough to encode me a file of Trunks' Holland dub voice.  You can download it here, and it can be found in the Special Features section (I'll move it to "Trunks In Engligh" at a later time).  Hmm...my opinion on the new English Trunks voice?   It sucks ass.  Sorry... I prefer Eric Johnson's portrayal of Trunks much more (and it helps that he's a super nice guy!).  This guy sounds like a stiff, un-emotional, dirty old man.  Ack!  If anything, it'll give you a good laugh, so check it out!  Hmm...know what's scary?  The dialogue and music sucks, just as much, if not more-so, than FUNi's.  So what if it's got the old voices?  It's still garbage.  Arg, I need to purify myself....*runs away to watch some more Fushigi Yuugi*.  Credits go to OA.

-  Speaking of English voices....I'm running into trouble with the Eric Johnson interview.  He wants to do it and all, but problems keep coming up.  Once something actually gets *done*, I'll tell the whole story.

Wednesday, 2/7/01

-   Dena has gone through all of the Fanart submissions, and she has picked 16 new images out of the batch.  All the new art work can be found on Page 2 of the Fanart section.

-  Four truly excellent editorials are now up in Enlightened Ones.

Monday, 2/5/01

-  Well, I was hoping to have a nice music video remake up today, but a snow storm prevented me from getting home, so I'm making this update from elsewhere.  Instead, I shall post this Music Video, the Fushigi Yuugi Music Video: Gamma Version.  I'm going to be getting the second Fushigi Yuugi DVD box set tomorrow, so I can go work on this video even more later!  I hope you like it.  Please, don't tell me to "hurry up and finish up" this video.  The Otakon music video contest isn't until the summer, and I don't have any intention of finishing it up soon.  :)  Just enjoy the preview of what is done so far.

-  Hey fan girls, I suggest checking out the new Trunks Doujinshi  images!  There are a few new ones from the "Blue Berry" book that I think you might like. ^_^

-  There's a new winner and sentence in Random DBZ Fill in the Blank Contest.

Saturday, 2/3/01

-   Holy crap on a stick, I'm updating again!  Ah, so long, my beloved extended break from the site.....Anywho, allow me to explain the situation, so that I may never see a "why is your site down!?" e-mail again (oh....god...wretched e-mails...).   Our host moved its servers to another state, so the sites on www.animenetwork.com (DaizenshuuEX included) were down.  Even when the sites were back up in the new location, we weren't able to gain access to the server in order to make any additions.  Why?  Well, other than the hosting company being incompetent twits, there's not much else to say.  In any case, we're able to update now, and the ToT's ready to rock.  I kind of have a busy weeking ahead of me, so I can only add a few new things.  But I DO have a lot of fun things planned for the near future, including ideas for three or so new sections (hey, I wasn't *totally* sitting around twiddling my fingers while the site was down!).  Stay uned for that, cuz I hope you'll enjoy what I have in store.  On with the crappage du jour....

-  The Fan Manga section has additions to both the ever-popular Darci-san story collection (this time, starring...CELL!?), and the "Walk This World" saga.  Enjoy!

-  A few new and amusing Trunks Cartoons have been produced.

-  While the site was down, I was able to translate yet another of my new Trunks Doujinshis!  I'll have some real nice stand-alone pics up within a day or two!

Wednesday, 1/24/01

-   4 new funny Trunks Cartoons have been posted.  I recommed the Piccolo's Auction story, as well as the Trunks x Goku comic, hehe.

-  Added a couple of quotes to The Sexuality of Trunks.   My fave new one was the quote posed in the Japanese version quotes section. :)

-  Well, the new "Great Saiyaman" tapes came out yesteday (kinda funny, considering none of the episodes actually had the Great Saiyaman in them).  I haven't finished watching them yet, but they look fun!  I adore stupid filler episodes.  I've never seen the Afterlife Tournament episodes in Japanese before, so I'm allowed to be a dubbie for just these few episodes, muwahaha!  However, I have seen the last episode on the last new tape before, so I was able to compare it to the original.  Oooohh baby, am I loving teen Gohan's voice!  And it was especially startling to see Videl dubbed, too.  Oh, she's kick arse.  Heh, and they fact that they referred to "Hell" and "Mr. Satan" were also pleasant treats.  I just can't wait 'till next month, cuz that's when Chibi Trunks will show up in the dub tapes. Scary.   I guess I should provide a link to DaizenshuuEX, since I let VegettoEX use the tapes I bought yesterday to make fun things from the episodes. ^_^

Monday, 1/22/01

-   Oh my, am I ever so very proud of me for translating this new Trunks Doujinshi.  It's story number 2 in the "Blue Berry" book, and it's probably one of my fave single doujinshi stories ever.  Not only that, but I think my translation is dead on.  Steve Simmons, look out!  And I don't wanna hear any bitching from Trunks x Pan haters regarding this story.  I just post the doujinshi, so don't get all pissy with me just cuz...well...if I say any more, it'll give the story away. ^_^  I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!!

-  Two more pages in the "Z Artiste" Fan Manga have been posted.

Saturday, 1/20/01

-   This update goes out to all my crazy fangirls out there.  Here are some super spiffy Trunks Screencaps of Trunks from DBZ Movie 9.   Why are these special?  Cuz is the one and only movie we get to see Trunks wearing that cute wifebeater/little denin vest number.  Way to be fashionable!   Oh yeah, more doujinshi translation fun coming soon!

-   A new winner and sentence has been added to Random DBZ Fill in the Blank Contest.

Wednesday, 1/17/01

-   Tonight, I have some of one of my new Trunks Doujinshi's scanned and translated.  Yep, I translated one of the stories all by myself!  I'm so glad I was able to put my Japanese skills to good use.   It took a really long time for me to do (about 5 hours), but I'm really glad I was able to have this translated so that you all can enjoy this story.  It's all about Trunks and Pan....'nuff said.  I'll have more images and hopefully translated stories from this and all my other new doujinshi's up soon!

Tuesday, 1/16/01

-   Happy birthday to me!  Yup yup, I turned the big 20 today.  Don't I feel old!  Well...not really. ^_^  I had a great b-day so far (parking ticket aside), even if I did have school (my new classes rule!  Three cheers for college).  I got FOUR new doujinshi's, so I have a crapload of scanning I'll have to do (my fave one is a book all about Trunks and Pan.  It's terribly sweet!).  Stay tuned for that soon!  Since I'm having a busy day, the only thing I can update for the time being is The Sexuality of Trunks.  I'll be adding more shizzat tomorrow.  Ja ne!

-  Oh yes, if you have a few minutes to spare, I recommend checking out VegettoEX's feature on Yu Yu Hakusho.   Now, I've seen the first few episodes and movies of this series, and I don't particularly care for YYH (don't hurt me!  Although, Kuruma is hot).   Regardless, I hope FUNi doesn't do evil things to the series.  So, check out this feature so you know what's up before it's dubbed.  Be a cool kid!

Monday, 1/15/01

-   Happy MLK Day to all those who have off from school!  All those who do have school....well don't you just suck.  The spring semester starts for me tomorrow, so my winter break is pretty much over.  Before I go and depress myself, please check out these updates.

-  2 brand new (and yaoi-ish) Fan Manga's have been posted!

-  In the Non-DBZ Music Videos section, I've added a preview of the video that I want to submit to the 2001 Otakon.  It's a Fushigi Yuugi video called "I'll See You Again" all about the love triangle between Miaka, Tamahome, and Hotohori.  I only have 40 seconds of it done so far, but I really like how it's going.  Any suggestions, ideas, or comments on the video about be deeply appreicated!

-  Arg, I forgot to link to Dragonball Kenkon when I updated the links page!  Gomen nasai!

Saturday, 1/13/01

-   Booyah, I *finally* finished looking through all the link submissions!  Huzzah am I.  Out of the 65 submissions, 18 of them have been posted in the Links section.  I hope you'll enjoy checking them out!

-  I did yet another music video remake.  This time, it's "Bye Bye Bye:   Trunks vs. #17 & #18" yet again!  You may be wondering "Meri, why in cheese's name did you make *another* BBB remake?"  The answer is simple:  Upon fixing my capture card, I wanted to make a REALLY high quality version of one of the site's most popular vids.  This version is the highest quality Real Video music video on this site.  it's 5.7 MB, but damn, I think it's worth it. ^_^  Speaking of music videos, my server-mate VegettoEX made a friggin' awesome Rurouni Kenshin video.  It's based on the OVA's, so you can bet that it's not meant for those with weak stomachs. :p  Well, I got the first half of Fushigi Yuugi on DVD in my possesion (thank you muchly, Scott)...that means I won't be doing much of anything for awhile. ^_- Take care!

Thursday, 1/11/01

-   Here's a section that's in need of a good update....Fanart!   That's right!  Dena has sifted through all of the fanart submissions, and the 18 new pics posted are the creme of the crop.  Enjoy!  Remember, when sending submissions to Dena, make sure you include your name, and use correct spelling and grammar in your e-mails. :)

-  Two new great editorials by Sam The Man Spencer have been posted in Enlightened Ones.

-  Link Submissions will be open from now until 1:00 PM (EST) tomorrow afternoon.  Please, for the love of cheese, only submit your link if your site is actually *completed* and has *original* content.  Send link submissions (and only link submissions) to this address.

-   Before I post the new batch of links, I want to direct you to Mr. Popo's Palace.   It's real fun!

Wednesday, 1/10/01

-   Got a few new Trunks items as far as Computer Goodies are concerned!  First up, in Trunks WinAmp Skins- Page 6, 2 new skins are available for download.

-  I made 2 new odd looking Trunks Wallpapers.   I think they turned out ok... ^_^

-  John has sent me yet 4 more great Trunks Scans.   There are some really big ones in this batch that hope you'll enjoy!

-  Updated Trunks POTW with a new image.

-  If you haven't done so already, please check out VegettoEX's new "Staff Thought" at DaizenshuuEX.   I think it's really worth reading.  It's probably the most throught provoking DBZ-related written work I've read in awhile.

-  The interview with Eric Johnson should be taking place tonight, hopefully.  Expect the results of that to be up on the ToT...sometime after that...*sweatdrops*.  Maybe I'll have it all finished up on the weekend.

Tuesday, 1/9/01

-   I suppose a good drool-fest is in order for all you ladies out there, so today, I've updated two image sections.  Let's take a look, shall we?

-  4 big and really pretty (and images I've never seen before, to boot) pic have been added to Trunks Scans.  Thanks John, for submitting these pics!

-  In Trunks Doujinshi- Page 2,  both the Contributed and Miscellaneous sections have new (and dang gorgeous) additions.   Speaking of doujinshi, I'll be getting a whopping 4 new books for my birthday (which is in a week, the day I go back to school, grr), so expect to see a *lot* of scanning on my part. ^_^

Monday, 1/8/01

-   Muwahahaha!  I got Adobe Premiere working again (thanks to the help of a friend)!  Ahhh, I feel so fulfilled now that I made a new music video!  I'm doing something different for a change, so I made a Sailor Moon mini-music video.  It's called "Faded" and it's all about Seiya (from Three Lights) trying to take Usagi for himself (I never liked Mamoru to begin with). ^_^  I hope you liked it!  I definitely enjoyed doing something non-Dragonball for a change.

-   Thanks to Ultimate Kaiho, the Trunks Desktop Icons actually work now.  Download the zip file to check 'em out.

Sunday, 1/7/01

-  My video capture card worked today for about....20 minutes (before subsequently konking out on me again...naturally).  I was able to make 3 new Trunks movie clips before the thing started acting all weird.  I'll add more when it works again.

-  I've been getting a lot of requests asking what other characters made the Animerica Fan Awards list, in addition to the Dragonball peeps.  To make things much easier, I typed out the entire list of the Animerica Fan Awards- Fave Males/Females.  I especially like the top 10 males, cuz 9 out of 10 of them are some of my own personal favorites. ^_^

Saturday, 1/6/01

-   Gah....after my video capture was working for like, 2 days, nothing is going right again.  I can't make music videos cuz my Adobe Premiere is funked up (ARG!!), can't make movie clips, can't do didly squat.  So, until I can get things working again, I'll have to settle for posting this "news".

-  In the latest issue of Animerica (Vol. 8, Issue 12), the results of the Fan Awards were in, and boy oh boy, the men of DBZ made a killing in the "Favorite Male Character" category.  This was quite a shock to me....Trunks was at #5 (out of 25) characters!   Wow, I'm amazed he made the list at all.  Here are all of the  DBZ males to make the list:  #2- Son Goku, #3- Vegeta, #5- Trunks, #14- Piccolo, #24- Gohan.   Oh yeah, and Bulma was #25 on the list for most Favorite Female Characters.

-  Check out DaizenshuuEX for a great review of the History of Trunks DVD.  If EX is in a good mood, maybe he'll let me watch the DVD tonight ^_^;

-  I made a Vash The Stampede wallpaper.  Go me, I'm in a Trigun mood.

-  I'll be renting the first few volumes of Outlaw Star, so I'll put in my two cents and ruin it for the rest of you before Cartoon Network airs it :P

Wednesday, 1/3/01

-   Yes!  Finally, I got my video capture card working again.  I whipped up 2 movie clips of Trunks today.  One is when he says goodbye to everyone and leaves to go back to the future, and the other is when Baby Trunks takes his first steps!  I should have more clips up tomorrow.

-  In the Trunks Timelines section, a really cool explanation of the Alternative Timelines Created By Trunks has been made.  Thanks go out to Bulma 733 for making this!

-  All of the Trunks Wallpapers have been re-arranged to look more organized, and 3 new wallpapers are now up.

Tuesday, 1/2/01

-   Huzzah, Happy New Year!  Hope you had a great one.  Mine was spiffy, and it's even better knowing I still have a few weeks off before school starts ^_^  May as well get on with the update.

-  A lot of Contributed as well as Miscellaneous Trunks Doujinshi- Page 2 images have been posted.

-  One of those new Doujinshi images made it as this week's Trunks POTW.  That's probably one of my fave doujinshi images of all time!

-  Check out the Fan Manga section to read a new story called "Wedding Day."

-  In Random DBZ Fill in the Blank, a new winner and sentence is now up.

-  A new story has been added to Trunks Cartoons allabout Dr. Gero wanting to have a party.

-  A couple of new quotes are in up Sexuality of Trunks.   Sub

-  Well, the "neat surprise" that I wanted to have ready didn't come off as planned.   Sorry, these things happen.  But here is some good news to make up for it!   The Eric Johnson interview should be up sometime this week (if I get my ass in gear and work like mad).  Stay tuned!

Sunday, 12/31/00

-   Wow...can you believe the year 2000 is almost over?  I sure can't.  It's been a tremendous year for the ToT, so thanks to the fans who keep coming back here for more weirdness!  Time flies when you're having fun!  I want to apologize in advance, because I wanted to have some Trunks movie clips from the last dub episode up today.  Sadly, my capture card decided to stop working, so I'm pretty much screwed until I can fix it.  What I can promise is a neat surprise that will be up tomorrow, if things go as planned.  Now, on with the goodies I *was* able to make!

-   Android 18 has gone through all of her Trunks Fanfics submissions, and I posted a few of the written works up.  The reason why only a few of the new submissions are posted is because several people didn't write their own names on their fanfics.  If you don't see yours listed, please contact Android 18 and tell her which one you wrote.  Once we figure out who wrote what, I'll post the rest.

-  I've added 6 Philippine sounds to the Trunks Around the World section!

-  New predictions have been added to Look into the Future.

-  A couple of new quotes are in up Sexuality of Trunks.   Submissions for this section have been uh...pretty lackluster lately...that's why there aren't so many posted ^_^.

Saturday, 12/30/00

-   How I adore looking outside the window to see the world covered in beautiful snow....yeah, a whole friggin' foot of it.  Needless to say, I'm stuck indoors for awile, seeing as how I can't dig my car out of my driveway.  It's a cold winter's day, but maybe these nice new Trunks Screencaps will warm you up!  35 Trunks images from DBZ Movie 7 have been added to Movie Images- Page 1.  Enjoy!  Since I'll be home all day, I'll probably add a new batch of fanfics later on.

-   Well....yesterday was the last appearance of Mirai Trunks in the dub.  Ah, Trunks, we harldy knew ye!  But fear not!  Chibi Trunks will be on the way with the new episodes...god only knows when those will air.  Anycrap,  I'll later add some movie clips of when Trunks goes back to the future and kicks some Android bootie.   If you can't wait till then, I already have those clips in Japanese in my Movies section.

Thursday, 12/28/00

-   Aww, I'm so sad to see the holidays pass, but at least the time was a joyous one!  I got lots of neat stuff, like a brand new video capture card *drool* (I've spent the last 2 days trying to get it to work, which is why I haven't updated).  The weirdest thing I got above all was a surprise gag gift from my grandma:  a Trunks pillow. *sweatdrops*  It's kinda funny looking, so I'll post a pic of it (using my mom's new digital camera, huzzah!) sometime when I get bored.  I hope y'all had a good holiday, too!  On with the update.

-  10 beautiful images have been posted in Trunks Doujinshi- Page 2 under "Misc. Doujinshi Pics."  As you might be able to see, I re-organized the Doujinshi section so that all the Contributed and Misc. Piics are on one page, and the stories are on another.  This should make things load faster.

-   Trunks goes back to the future today on dub DBZ, for all those who don't know.   Look for a nice moment between Vegeta and Trunks.  I'll probably have a movie clip of it up later today or tomorrow.

-  Since I got a new capture card, expect some better quality Trunks pics from DBZ movies 7 & 9 in the coming days.  I'm gonna go play with my new X-Mas toys some more, so bye! *fries brain playing The Sims*

X-Mas, 12/25/00

-  Happy holidays, everybody!  I hope you're having an awesome winter break so far.  As you can see just by looking...the ToT is looking different.  That's right, that is the ToT X-Mas present I was talking about!  I've had the old layout up since May, so I figured it was time to do something different.  Kinda looks like "ToT Does Las Vegas", huh?  I kept the colors the same, because I like them (and it would be a hassle to change *all* of the sub-pages).  Oh, speaking of which, I changed the layouts to the main sub-sections, too (Humor, Media, etc).  Now, they have descriptions for each section, so you know what you'll be in for when you click on the links.  The only thing I didn't change was the look for the sub-sub-pages, since those are already pretty basic.

Now, in addition to the main layout and menu changes, I also altered a few other things.   First the Trunks Cels sub-section has been moved to Images.  I got rid of the "Trunks' First Appearance" section cuz, well, I needed the server space.  I have also retired the Survey section.  It was getting pretty hard to come up with Trunks-related questions over the course of three years, so I decided to discontinue that.

Well, that's the surprise!  I hope you like the new layout, and find it aesthetically pleasing and helpful.  I'll probably make some more modifications to it in the coming days, though.  I hope you have a very Merry Christmas!

-  What?   You thought the new layout would be the ONLY surprise I'd have for you!?  Get real!  When the ToT delivers the goods, the ToT does it with a bang!  And here is that bang.  Coming within weeks:  An Interview With Eric Johnson (the voice actor of Trunks, for all ya punk-asses who didn't know that)!!  Yes indeed!   I've finally contacted the man, and he's agreed to an interview for this site!   We're still working out the details right now, but I'm sure things will be figured out soon.  Stay tuned for that.  It's bound to be really fun, and a great experience.

-  10 new items have been added to DBZ Winter Holiday Stuff!

-  For all those who may have missed it, the new Feature Film, A Christmas Carol: DBZ Syle is now up.  It's holiday fun for the whole family!....well....maybe not. ^_^

-  Plug:   ToT Store! :p

Saturday, 12/23/00

-  Wheee!  The new Feature Film has been made!  Since the old X-Mas Film was lost in the server move, a new holiday Film has been made in it's place.  It's called A Christmas Carol-  DBZ Style.  As you can tell from the title, it's a parody of the classic Charles Dickens story.  I hope you enjoy it!

-  I've decided that I just can't handle submissions for a few sections any more...therefore, I have gotten some extra help!  If you'd like to submit some Fanart to the ToT, e-mail your drawings to Dena.  To e-mail your Trunks Fanfics, please send them to Android 18.   I've also gotten a new helper for "DBZ Never Says", but I'll probably post the info for that tomorrow.

-  The new Version 4.0 download for The Trunks Video Game is now available, as well as an FAQ made by the creator of the game himself.  i highly suggest checking out the FAQ, because I'm sure it'll prove to be helpful.

-  A new winner and sentence is up in the Random DBZ Fill in the Blank Contest.

-  I'm still working on the ToT X-Mas Surprise....that'll be on on Monday.  Buwahaha!

Wednesday, 12/20/00

-  My gosh, did you see DBZ today?  Veggie-chan showed....feelings towards his son! *sniff* Kinda gets ya right where it hurt, doesn't it?  Even though they edited out Trunks' little nasty scene (and deservedly so *shudder*)  I like how that scene was handled in the dub better than the original version.  So sue me, I like the fact that Vegeta went on about his boy. It's more interesting that way.  Anycrap, on with the update.

-   Darci-san has added a *wonderful* new addition to her Trunks Time Collection with the story "Christmas Time Trunks".  You can find it in the Fan Manga section.  Will Trunks get who he wants for X-Mas?  You'll have to go and see for yourself. ^_^

-   Whoops, I goofed when I made yesterday's screencaps update.  I forgot to move the previeous new addtions to different sections.  So, to find the previous batch before yesterday's group, here are some links:  the previous new Long Haired Mirai Trunks screencaps are here, and the previous new Short Hair Mirai Trunks caps are here.

Tuesday, 12/19/00

-  Yep, Trunks got killed today, hot damn.  Doesn't he have a neat death?  Cell just shows up and ZAP!  Thar he blows.  Anywho, you can find the movie clip up Trunks' death up here.  For comparison's sake, here is the Japanese version of Trunks' death.  I'm more than certain that the scene when Trunks coughs up blood will be cut out tomorrow.  It's really pretty gross :P   If you want to see the original version of that particular scene, check it out here.

4:35 pm

-  YES!!! All my finals are over!  A month off from school!  Huzzah am I.  To celebrate, I've added a whopping 100 images to the Trunks Screencaps section.  What I've done was that I re-made the entire Trunks TV Special portion, using the "History of Trunks" video as a source.  These pics are really high quality (and pretty large), so I hope you'll enjoy viewing them as much as I liked making them!

-  A new pic is now up for the Trunks POTW.

-  Still working on the secret ToT X-Mas surprise, blah...

Saturday, 12/16/00

-  I've had 3 final exams in 2 days.   As you can imagine, I feel half dead. *sigh* Only one more to go, and I get a month off from school!  Anywho, on with the update.

-  I've finally gotten rid of that crappy Ezboard!  My pals Arcada, Cat, Lunch, Anzu, Android 17 and I have dug up some dough and decided to buy an Ultimate Bulletin Board!  It's very spiffy so far, but we have a lot more fun things we wanna add to it.  Check out the new message board!

-  A lot of new Too Much Trunks- Page 2 quotes are now up.

Thursday, 12/14/00

-  Holy crap, Too Much Trunks- Page 2 has been updated!  It's been months, huh?  These are submitted entried up until August 2000.  Trunkstar7 hasn't gotten around to editing the rest yet.  Keep in mind the the ones I just posted is only HALF of the total quotes that have to go up.  I'll post the second half tomorrow.   Well, I got two finals tomorrow that I should be studying for, so I am off. :P

Wednesday, 12/13/00

-  With Gohan's transformation episode airing on t.v. yesterday, I was able to remake an old music video of mine, "Gohan Transforms to SSJ2- Spirit vs Spirit" (Version 2.0).  The quality of this one is great, even if the stupid CN logo in the corner.  The only major change I made was that for the scene when #16 gets killed, I used the Japanese version insted of the English verion, since the dub one was slightly edited.  Enjoy!

-   Before I make this next update, I would like to say that I did not steal this idea from Planet Namek (I was simply reminded that I had signed up for something I forgot about :P).  I signed up for an account with CafePress months ago, at the suggestion of a friend, but never did anything with it cuz I was too lazy to make the merchandise.  But, when PN said they were making shirts, I remebered that I could do that, too.  So I whiped up some purty thangs, and made some fun ToT stuff.   With that said, here goes the sales pitch:

"Looking for that perfect gift to give to your favorite Trunks fan for the upcoming holidays?   Or maybe you'd like to buy some stuff from your fave Trunks site for yourself?   Then the ToT Store is for you!  Here, you'll find Temple O' Trunks shirts (even a Baby-Tee!), mugs and a mouse pad.  With the winter season in full swing, now is the best time to get your very own ToT merchandise.  Come on, all the cool kids are doing it! (ok, maybe not ALL the cool kids. ^_-)  Check it out today."  End sales pitch. :P Right now, there are two designs, but I hope to have more made soon.

-   Curent status of the ToT X-Mas surprise: 30%. You know what they say about being slow and steady...blah, I hate finals week.

Tuesday, 12/12/00

-  Today was the day, huh? Gohan goes SSJ2! I can safely say I never thought I'd see this on U.S. tv. My opinion? The beginning of the major scene started off *awesome*. Nearly perfect translation, good acting...yeah....even the editing of the smooshing of #16's head was well done. But then it went downhill the moment Gohan snapped. But you don't need me to tell you the rest. I'd tell you to go download whatever clips of this scene I made, but I can't, since I'm not home right now. I'm making this update from VegettoEX's place, so this is kinda a pain in my butt. But speaking of him, he's already gone and posted a mad hot MPEG of the scene at his site. Go check it out!

Monday, 12/11/00

-  Aw yeah baby.  One of the most dramatic moments in the history of DBZ will air tomorrow on Cartoon Network.  You know I'm talking about the transformation of Gohan, of course.  I have no doubt that the scene'll be butched, but I really look forward to seeing how it will be handled.   I hope that Stephanie chick knows how to scream. ^_^  If you would like to see this wonderful scene in Japanese before watching it in English, you can download it here (ok, so this clip isn't how the scene *exactly* goes.  It's been slightly re-edited to be like a music vid, but it still gets the point across that nothing beats the original version).

-  A lot of new items have been added to A Look Into the Future.  Now there's a section that hasn't been updated in awhile...

-  In Trunks Doujinshi, I've posted a couple of new Miscellaneous Trunks pics.  One is downright adorable, while two are...downright scary.

-   Progress on the ToT X-Mas Surprise: about 20% or so.  Damn finals week, keeping me busy. :P

Sunday, 12/3/00

-  Updated Scans- Page 2 with some new images from the Cell and Freeza Sagas.  They're so purty. ^_^

-  The ToT contributed some small info to a Australian kids magazine called K-Zone.  There's a DBZ article in it all about "the new kid on the block" called *gasp* Trunks!   I'll have some scans of that up soon.  It's corny in an amusing kind of way.   I'm just glad I was able to help in my small little way (even though they didn't give me any credit, hehehe...-_-;).

Saturday, 12/2/00

-  Aw yeah baby, the Real Video version of Trunks Music Video: Heart of Sword is now up.  This is all y'all peeps who wanna download an ok quality, 5.8 MB file instead of the huge ass mpeg files.  Enjoy!

Friday, 12/1/00

-  Ah, I'm so happy this new Music Video is done! It's by far the best quality video I've ever made (hehe, sorry that the file sizes are huge), and it's just dang cool. What is it? Why it's the Trunks Music Video: Heart of Sword- Version 4.0. Please check it out! I don't think you'll be dissappointed. it kicks so much more ass than the old versions, yup yup. I'll have a RealVideo version of the video up sometime later today. Um, I'm making this update from work, so forgive me if some things are messed up. I'll fix stuff when I get home. I wanna give a shout out to mah homies at Setupsite and 7pm, for all your web hosting needs! *end plug*

Thursday, 11/30/00

-  In the Games section, a fun little activity called Trunks Puzzles has been added.  This is like those games where you get a messed up image, and you have to move the squares around in order to get the picture back to normal.   So far, there are 8 puzzles to choose from.  Enjoy!

Wednesday, 11/29/00

-  A spiffy new Fan Manga called "Trunks Learns the Spirit Bomb" is now up.  Heheh, it's not what you might it will be.....

-   Updated the Random Pic of the Week with a funny lil' screencap.

-  Added 2 songs and a Trunks pic by Darci-san to DBZ Winter Holiday Stuff!

-   Right now, I'm working on a new and super neato spiffy version of the Trunks "Heart of Sword" music video.  It looks *really* good so far, and I hope to have it up here in the next 2 days.  I hope you'll check it out cuz it's really a lot better than the old version. :)

Monday, 11/27/00

-  I've added 37 new large and purty Trunks Screencaps!   I really like how this batch turned out.  The majority of them are better versions of old, crappy, fansub-made images, so I hope you'll check these out!  Wow, there are now 500+ screencaps of Trunks here....it's ok, I'm frightened too. ^_^

Sunday, 11/26/00

-  Oh wow, I can't believe how hard it was to undertake this little task.  I went and re-organized the Trunks Screencaps section so that is easier to navigate and will load faster.  Now you can look up images by which version of Trunks you wanna see.  Also, I deleted images that I had more than one of.   My original plan was to make a new batch of pics today, but first I thought some cleaning of that section was in order.  Maybe I'll have new pics up tomorrow or something. :)

Saturday, 11/25/00

-  Ah, that was a nice mini-break.   Now it's back to studying for exams and putting up fun stuffage, like this!   Seeing how December is right around the corner, I decided to resurrect ye old DBZ Winter Holiday Stuff from last year!  Have fun looking at these goods.

-  A brand new story called "Walk This World" (based on the fanfic of the same name) by Vejita4Eva has been added to the Fan Manga section.   I highly recommend checking it out.  It looks great so far. ^_^

-  Up in Random DBZ Fill in the Blank Contest, a winner has been chosen, and a new sentence is now up.

Thursday, 11/23/00

-  Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!  As a present from the ToT to you, a new Feature Film has been made!  We seriously made this on a whim, with next to no planning at all, but I think you'll enjoy it!  It's called A Dragonball Thanksgiving, kind of a combination Thanksgiving special meets Iron Chef.  Enjoy, and have a good holiday!

Wednesday, 11/22/00

6:05 pm

-  Hmm. Mr. Satan is now Hercule.  Oh well, works for me.  Anyone who would think "Mr. Satan" would be allowed on a national kiddie cable program should get a good slap.  His voice...meh.  Better than I was expecting! ^_^  Anywho, here are some random things.

-  Added a Kaio-sama Marriage Prospect.   Lord help us all....

-   Updated Trunks POTW with a nice shot of Mirai Trunks looking messed up.

11:00 am

-  Ya know, I was thinking about writing a review on the two new Dragonball video releases...(here comes the "but").   But, seeing as how two competent sites have gone and done such, I don't think there's any need for me to say anything, although I will throw in my two cents pretty quickly.  First up, the new Staff Ramble at GingaGIRIGIRI places an emphasis on the awful music and mistranslations of the Bardock TV Special.   At DaizenshuuEX, their review is a compare and contrast editorial between the Bardock Special and the dub of DB Movie 3.   So, if you want to know about the new tapes before deciding to buy them or not, please check out the reviews at these sites.  My opinion?  The Movie 3 DB dub was friggin' incredible.  Original music, good translation, and gosh damn it, "Makafushigi Adventure" was left in!  This is probably my new favorite FUNi dub *ever*.  The Bardock Special on the other hand...while the voice acting was good, the slightly mangled plot (since when can Bardock read minds?) and less-than-stellar dialogue made it kinda hard to swallow.  I didn't have anything against the music.   I mean, it was good, but it had no place in a DBZ thing, so that really ruined the mood of the Special (much like the "The History of Trunks").  My suggestion:  don't buy the Bardock Special dub.  Get the DVD so you can see it in Japanese (says she who doesn't even own a DVD player, bah).  But, if you wanna see a GOOD dub, go out and buy DB Movie 3, "Mystical Adventure".  That's all for now!

Tuesday, 11/21/00

-  Today is an important date for new releases, like...the new BSB album!  Just kidding, hehe...but, it is true that some important DBZ items are coming out today.  I have just bought the dub Bardock TV Special, as well as DB Movie 3.  I've already made 5 movie clips of some important scenes from the special.  To be honest, I haven't even watched the tape all the way through yet.  C'mon, I got school to go to 'n stuff. I'll write up a review of it when I have enough time to give it a good watch.  Same goes for the DB Movie 3 tape.  But in the meantime, please cheack out Lost 80's Dragon Ball Dub to see how that movie was originally dubbed before FUNi got their hands on it.   Anywho, please enjoy the Bardock clips I've made so far.

Sunday, 11/19/00

-  Here's a section that hasn't been updated in a while!  Trunks Mad Libs (in the Games section) has a new Mad Lib added to it called "Famous DBZ Scene- Rewrite!".   I hope to have more Mad Libs similar to this in the future.  Have fun playing it!

Saturday, 11/18/00

-  Exam from hell, over.  Trip to New York from hell, over.  Now for the update from hell!  Ok, not really, but it sounded neat.  Here are today's goods. ^_^

-  More English translation fun over in Trunks Doujinshi thanks to Liz and Co.!  This time, Story #4 of "Golden Lucky 4" has been translated.  It's all about Trunks coming up with a weird plan in order to make Goku his.  Muwahahaha!

-  The 6 preview cards of the Trunks Saga for the DBZ CCG have been added to the Special Features section for you to ogle and drool over.  Thanks chibipunk16 for the scans!

Thursday, 11/16/00

-  I am preparing for the exam from hell, but before I drown myself in a sea of books, lemme add some quick things for ya peeps to enjoy!

-  The Sexuality of Trunks has some sick little quotes added to it.

-  A winner and new sentence are up in Random DBZ Fill in the Blank contest!

Wednesday, 11/15/00

-  3 really lovely Trunks Wallpapers have been added. (I've got one of them on my compy right now!)

-  My main editorial man, Underfaker, has written 2 new editorials for Enlightened Ones.

Tuesday, 11/14/00

-  Back to classes, and back to site work, woohoo.  Today, I got some neat and original stuff for y'all!  Check out 11 new French Trunks sounds in Trunks Around the World.  In this batch, you'll find a major cool Mirai Trunks mp3, a crap load of super kawaii Chibi Trunks sounds, and some downright *scary* sounds of GT Trunks.  Wow, we covered all areas of Trunks-dom today, huh?

-   Whoops, it would appear that I accidently deleted the Lost 80's Dragon Ball Dub link from the Media menu.   Fret not, it was a mistake on my part, and I put the link back up.  I didn't get rid of that section. ^_^

Sunday, 11/12/00

-  YES!  That new music video that has been delayed for a few days now is finally complete.  it may be late, but boy, it was worth it.  I *really* like how this one turned out, and I hope y'all like it as much as I liked making it!  Behold the new humor video....Vogue:  Strike A Pose! That's right, as I'm sure you can guess, this one is all about posing in Dragonball.  This video is also my first real collaboration.  VegettoEX of DaizenshuuEX helped pick out the clips that were used in the vid 'n such.  You go, boy.  Also, if you can't download RealPlayer files, or just don't like them, you can download an MPEG of the video at his site sometime in the near future.  Enjoy!

Saturday, 11/11/00

-  Darci-san has done it again with an all-new (and super twisted) Fan Manga entitled "Shaving Time Trunks".  Yes, it is as odd as it sounds. ^_^

2:00 pm

-  Howdy peeps, how y'all been?  I'm mad tired, myself.  I had a concert to go to yesterday (ohh, my boys sound awesome live), 2 tests last week, and a Saturday morning class I had to drive to all early only to find that it was cancelled..*sigh*  Oh well, now that all that crap is outta the way, I can actually make an update!  Here goes...

-  6 contributed Trunks Doujinshi images have been posted!  In addition, Story 8 in "Golden Lucky 4" (the Chibi Trunks one) has been translated thanks to Liz and Co.!  You can check that out right here.

Wednesday, 11/8/00

-  Here's the nifty little surprise I mentioned yesterday...a new section added to Trunks Around The World!   7 Philippine Trunks sounds are now up (and there are 14 more to go, whoa!) for your listening amusement.  Thanks Andrew for supplying these sounds!  I swear, evenually I'll have those Chinese wave files available!

Thursday, 11/2/00

-  For your listening pleasure (and I mean pleasure, woohoo!), I've added more sounds to Trunks In Portuguese.   Soon to come, those French Trunks sounds!

Tuesday, 10/31/00

9:00 pm

-  Whee!  As promised, here are the sounds and new section!  It's a new...*gasp* sounds section!   You can find it in Media, and it's called......Trunks In Portuguese!  Dat's right!  Hear the Purple Haired Wonder in all of his Portuguese glory!  Thanks to Michan for sending me the sounds.  Now, I plan on getting Chinese and French Trunks sounds in the near future, so I shall be combining all my international Trunks sounds into something called "Trunks Around the World".  Pretty freaky, huh?  Enjoy!

-  Got a new winner and sentence for Random DBZ Fill In The Blank Contest.

12:30 am

-  Happy Halloween!  What will you be doing this year?  Going out wearing your Goku or Vegeta outfits (saw 'em in the store..they looked scary)?  Egging helpless fanboy's houses?  Getting drunk on those little candy wax beer bottles?  Well, whatever you do, have a safe and fun Halloween!   To celebrate, please check out the latest addition to Darci-san's Halloween Fan Manga, "Trick or Treat Time Trunks".  The ending isn't what you'd expect. ^_^   Let's give a round of applause to the great Darci for having her manga finished up by Halloween!!  Later today, I'm gonna reeeealllly try to have those Trunks sounds I've been promising since the weekend.  Oh, and get ready for a new section, coming soon!

Sunday, 10/29/00

-  For all you fans of the chat, I've finally gotten around to getting a new Chat Room, since the old one was kind of a piece of crap.  Hopefully, this new one will be slightly better.  For the love of cheese, play nice or else I may have to get nasty. ^_^  This one is also temporary until I can find something better to use as a chat.

Saturday, 10/28/00

-  Yeehaw, three midterms down, one more to go.  With that said, I can finally add some stuff I've been sitting on for quite some time, heheh.  Shall we begin?  We shall!

-  Added a new things to Trunks Cartoons, including the next chapter to Murf's story!

-  A great looking new Trunks Fan Manga has begun it's serialization at the ToT.  It's all about what may have taken place between Trunks and Vegeta in The Room of Spirit And Time.

-  Posted a little something to Trunks Twilight Zone.  Shoujo Kakumei Utena fans...rejoice!!

-  I've added a DBZ Marriage Prospect for Freeza.  Oh my...

-  For fun stuff to look at if you're bored, go listen to the new (especially of the Eric Johnson wanna-be!!) fansounds at DaizenshuuEX and give the new game at GingaGIRIGIRI a whirl!

Wednesday, 10/25/00

-  Ahh, I just love yesterday's episode when Trunks comes out of The Room of Spirit and Time *spits of the phrase "Hyperbolic Time Chamber"*.   Anywho, I made a bunch of purty and colorful and large Screencaps from the episode when Trunks comes out of The Room of Spirit and Time (hmmm....do you sense a pattern going on here?).  Yes, I know I made screencaps before from the episode when Trunks comes out of The Room of Spirit and Time (gee, maybe I'm trying to get a point across or something), but my fansubs suck, so it makes sense to remake those caps from the dub version.  I would have added sounds from this episode, but I am dealing with the week from hell right now (2 midterms to study for, both are doozies!), so the sounds will have to come later (as well as screencaps and sounds from The History of Trunks).

-  Updated the Trunks Pick of the Week with something quite odd that I made. ^_^

-  Thanks to Liz and her friend (I'm sorry, i didn't get your name), the contributed Trunks Doujinshi all about Trunks walking in on his parents doing stuff has been translated!  Remember, it's supposed to be read from right to left, not left to right.  Check it out!: Page 1, Page 2.

Monday, 10/23/00

-  Did you see the end of DBZ today?  I hope you did, because THIS is the reason I'm happy to be a Trunks fan.  Girls, give it up for our new and improved hottie and happy drooling!  Speaking of episodes, be sure to watch tomorrow's, cuz there's a funny scene with Bulma and Trunks regarding his new hair-do (well, I HOPE the dub version of this scene will be funny....).

-  Added the last 6 movie clips from the second half of "The History of Trunks" (which will be out in stores tomorrow!).   I highly recommend downloading the last clip of this batch.  It's when Trunks leaves Bulma to time travel to the future, and it's just too sweet.  Plus, we get to hear him say "I love you"!  ^_^  For all you crazed fans out there, close your eyes and pretend he's saying it to you. :P

Sunday, 10/22/00

-  Whew, finally, I made 8 movie clips from the first half of "The History of Trunks" TV Special!  I hope you enjoy these previewing clips.  Watch 'em, and then check out the tape, in stores everywhere on Tuesday! ^_^  I hope to have clips from the second half of the special up tomorrow.

Saturday, 10/21/00

-  Now that I have the History of Trunks, I was able to make a better version of one of my favorite music videos, "Bye Bye Bye:  #17 & #18 vs. Trunks- Past, Present, and Future"!!

Update- I managed to re-encode the video so that it has better image quality while lowering the file size by 2 whole MB.  I apologize to people who checked out the version I put up earlier today, but I recommened downloading the re-uploaded version. ^_^

Friday, 10/20/00

-  The first of many dub Trunks TV Special items is now ready for download!  It's a movie file of the scene when Trunks transforms into a Super Saiyajin for the first time.  Scream for me bitch, scream! *ahem* He screams real good.  ^_^ Enjoy!

-  I make a lousy tutor.   VegEX didn't do as well as he could have on his Japanese midterm! *thwap*!   Oh, speaking of which, why don't you go to EX's site and listen to Jon and company's new fansounds?   They're dang amusing, and good for you too!

Thursday, 10/19/00

- ...................*in a daze* That was....in...Ennnggglish! *slaps self* It's ok, I'm alright.  Just trying to recuperate, that's all.  Now....I may not be completely coherent just yet, but I'll try to give my reactions while they're fresh.  Listen up! ^_^

*  The big one (well, to me, it is):  They gave Trunks a last name.  That's right!  Let the Temple O' Trunks be the first to tell you that Trunks' full name in the dub version of DBZ is "Trunks Brief".  No more speculating, huh?  Neat!  This is good since in the Japanese version, Trunks' last name (could either be "Vegeta" or "Brief") was never mentioned.  Me being the corny fan girl I am, this means a lot to me, hehe.

*  The music:  Go ahead and kick my ass, I LIKED it.  Whatchu gonna do about it, foo'!?  I'm very tempted to buy the soundtrack.  Although a bit of the music didn't really go with the scenes (the BIGGEST mis-match: rap during the scene when Gohan gives Trunks the last senzu), it generally set the tones for the scenes fairly well.  It's definitely a lot better than the crap we're subjected to during the regular TV episodes.  I found tha music for the special very tolerable.

*  Voice acting: Better than normal.  #17 was especially good, and we got to hear #18 say "this sucks" ^_^  As for Gohan, he was kinda hot-sounding, so I'm glad.  And da man himself, Eric Johnson does a great 13-year old Trunks voice!  Sounds nice and....pre-pubescent. :P  I was happy with the way he acted out the death scene.   Nice nice indeed *claps*.

*  Dialogue:  The major disappointment of this video.  Very few lines were kept the same as the original, and while it didn't mess with the plot at all....I dunno...I guess I could have done without hearing dialogue when characters aren't supposed to be speaking.   That really messes with the mood, yo.  That's not to say that some of the unnecessary dialogue wasn't amusing!  I kinda enjoyed all the remarks #18 made about clothes, and the things #17 was saying while running over people with his car was just too funny!

All in all, I'm quite pleased with how the dub of the Trunks TV Special turned out.  While it doesn't capture the emotion of the story as well as the original version, it is still damn good production as far as FUNi is concerned!  I'm impressed.  If you're a fan of Trunks, or just want to see a great one-shot DBZ story, I highly recommend picking this one up!

-  Here is something interesting!  It's a pic of the cover for the soundtrack (yes, you heard right. *Soundtrack*) for The History of Trunks.   Just thought ya'd like to see it so you know what it looks like in stores. ^_^

-  CaryDraw has sent me an updated version of his Trunks Video Game (found in the Games section)!   I hope that this time it will work for people who have tried to play it before, but it didn't work.  Have fun, and happy gaming!

Monday, 10/9/00

-  Saw the Trunks DVD's last night, soooo...it is time for my mini, half-arsed review (c'mon, admit it. You don't wanna read some lengthy shizzat!  You want me to get straight to the point, don'tcha?  Ok, I will!).   Here we go!  The goods:  Sound and video quality.  *droool* I felt like Trunks was right there with me!  Oh wait, that wasn't Trunks, that was random guys in the dorm.  The translations- dead on!  Wheee, thanks Daimao guy!   The menus- extra purty.  Umm..I'm easily amused, so I loved these DVD's to death.  For all you people who whine about not seeing the original version of DBZ, don't whine!  Go out and get these DVD's!  They're like whoaaa...Meri gives 'em two thumbs up.  Thanks EX for letting me watch them. ^_^

-  I'm gonna try to have a new section up tomorrow. Be VERY afraid.  It's gonna be a weird one.

Sunday, 10/8/00

-  Wheee, VegettoEX is letting me go and watch his Trunks DVD's today!  I am just five shades of happy right now *drool drool*.  I'll have a mini-review of it (you can bet it won't be a "normal" review, hehe) at a later time.  Now, on with the update!

-  Added 4 new weird products (including my favorite of the moment, DBZ bed sheets) to Operators Are Standing By!

-  I finally got around to revising my FAQ and About Me sections.  Both were in major need of an over-haul.

Saturday, 10/7/00

-  A Scans- Page 2 update has been made on this fine Saturday.  The twist: they're nothing but Trunks scans!  Dat's right, 6 big and purty pics are up and ready to be drooled upon. ^_^  I wanna give a special shout out to Scott from the comic book store.  Your music videos were fabulous!

Thursday, 10/5/00

-  Woohoo, it's only an hour and a half after today's DBZ episode, and I've already got 5 new Trunks In English sounds ready for listening!

-  I've posted 15 high quality and majorly cute images from yesterday's episode in the Trunks Screencaps section.  Some of these are repeats of old images, but these look *much* better than my cruddy old, fansubbed-captured pics!

Wednesday, 10/4/00

-  Alrighty, my damn scanner is still being weird.   Heck, I even resorted to trying to scan my stuff at work, but I ran out of time.   Maybe I'll try again tomorrow.  In the meantime, check this out!

-  Now that episodes that aren't yet available on video have begun airing on Cartoon Network, that means a lot more work for me!  I'm gonna attempt to make more clear screencaps of Trunks and new sound bytes from these episodes on a fairly regular basis.  Look at what a freak I am, I already went and made 10 sound files from today's new episode and put them in the Trunks In English section!   Hope you enjoy them!  Remember, the ones with the smiley face ^_^ are the ones I like the best.

Tuesday, 10/3/00

-  Grrrr, I was planning on adding a crud load of cool images today, but my scanner is fudged up.   I'll definitely try to have a good handful of pics up tomorrow, though.  In the meantime, here's a Trunksly news bit (ok, so it's not really news).  Tomorrow is the episode when Trunks plays with the squirrels on Cartoon Network.  Watch it and die laughing. :) That is all!  I hope the dub will capture the pure stupidity and cuteness of the scene. ^_^

-  On a side note, I finally got around to updating the Virtualgreetings.com site I work on at my job. ^_^

Sunday, 10/1/00

-  5 nifty new Trunks In Japanese sounds have been posted!

-  I've added a few contributed and miscellaneous images to Trunks Doujinshi.

-  For da ladies, a new pic of the English Voice Actor of Trunks, Eric Johnson is now up. Oh my, is he a hottie. ^__^

-  A winner has been picked for Random DBZ Fill In The Blank Contest and a new sentence is up.

-  I finally updated Trunks POTW and Random POTW.

Friday, 9/29/00

-  I apologize for the lack of updates these few days.   The reason?  I made a new music video!   Yessiree bob, this is one that I've wanted to make for a long time, but only had the chance to put it together now.  It's a video all about the abusive relationship between Trunks and Vegeta called "It's A Sin: A Vegeta and Trunks Music Video".  It's a tad depressing, but I hope you'll like it anyway!

-  If ya haven't done so already, I high recommened reading "The Sean Schemmel Experience" feature over at DaizenshuuEX.    It's really interesting, and the sounds at the end rule!  Major props to Jon for making that whole thing happen.

Tuesday, 9/19/00

-  The Temple O' Trunks has just passed it's 1,000,000th hit! Wheee! Only took 2 and a half years, but hell, it's damn cool! *begin awards-like acceptance speech* I just wanna thank me mommy and daddy, and every fan of the ToT that made this all possible! This site wouldn't be anywhere without the continuous support of the fans, so I thank you for that! Speaking of the fans, I got 2 entries for the 1,000,000 visitor contest, and I don't trust either of them! Therefore, no one wins until either someone fesses up, or I come up with some kind of plan. Anywho...this is quite the milestone! I seriosuly never thought that errr...anyone would go to the ToT when I first made it, let alone get this far, so...thanks again to all the fans! You rock. I'm writing this from VegEX's dorm , so this is kinda half-assed. ^_^ Sorry! I'll have a real update tomorrow. *blow kisses to peeps* Later!

Monday, 9/18/00

-  I'm delighted to say that this Link submissions period went very well!  I'm probably posting 75% of the sites that were sent in, and that's very good compared to the last time which was uhh.....not that much.  ^_^  For your viewing pleasure, here are 17 new Links!

Sunday, 9/17/00

-  I think I'll hold off on posting up the new Links until tomorrow.  The Gymnastics competition on the Olympics is really distrating me right now, so I'll save it for later, k? Ok. ^_^

-  As you may have noticed, the ToT is nearing it's One Millionth visit.  Wow! *sniff sniff* I can hardly believe it myself.  Well, as thanks to all the people you have come here, I'm gonna have a little contest!   Whoever is the 1,000,000th visitor will get any DBZ fansub of their choice (provided I can make a copy of it) and a CD-ROM with every single ToT Music Video.   Sweeeet!  Now, to prove that you're the lucky visitor, you must e-mail me a screen capture of the counter on the ToT proving that you're it.  If I get conflicting images due to cheaters, well....we'll see what happens.  Good luck!

- Page 3 of Darci's new Fan Manga has been fixed.  This is important because that page is a vital element to the story. =)

4:20 pm

-   Finally, a new Feature Film has been made!  Sorry it's been so long since the last one. There's a reason for that.  My mom bought the video camera to Bermuda with us and let's just say that the combination of sand, heat, and water isn't a good thing for a video camera.  But now it's fixed so it's all good!  Today, we bring you The DBZ Olympics!   Watch as your fave DBZ characters go head to head in the battle of the brutes!

-  Darci-san has made yet another spectacular Fan Manga!   If you're easily offended, don't read this one. =P  If you have an open mind, go ahead and yuck it up, cuz this one is a riot!  This has been called by some "The Best Mini-Manga of the Year!" ^_^

Saturday, 9/16/00

-  Late night update, wheee!  Just want to say that Link submissions are open!  Now, I can't stress this enough: ONLY SUBMIT YOUR SITE IF IT'S COMPLETE AND ORIGINAL!   *slaps self* Good god, I used the caps.  Anywho, please send you're site name and url to this address!  Submissions close at noon tomorrow.  Laters!

-  Expect something cool tomorrow, yup yup.

Friday, 9/15/00

-  Kinda got a situation going on with my forum on the BBA, but 's all good!  Since I'm such a freak, here I am, at work, getting a new message board when I should be doing my job, lol.   For now, it's pretty simple, but when I have more time to plan I'm gonna try to get a UBB.  To all the members of the old forum, I'm sorry you had to go through all the garbage that just went down, but I hope this new thang can allow us to start over again and chill.  Here is the new Temple O' Trunks Message Board.

Thursday, 9/14/00

-  Since the English version of the famous Goku and Piccolo Driving Episode aired yesterday, I've decided to remake the old music video I made for it back in the day.  I mean, heck, the quality of this is so much better than my crusty fansubs, so I may as well!  The only thing that peeves me is the little annoying Cartoon Network logo in the corner.  Here it is, the new, higher quality "Open Road Song- Version 2: Goku and Piccolo Driving" music vid!   (NOTE:  To get it to download, you have to do a right-click 'save as').

Wednesday, 9/13/00

-  A new wacky Fan Manga called "I Wanna Be Like Dad" by Chris Sanders has been put up.  Yep, it's more of them crazy drawings of his!

-  Last call for 'Say No To "No Trunks"' pictures to be sent!

Tuesday, 9/12/00

-  Whew, school is sure taking a lot out of me.  But don't worry, I haven't forgotten about you guys!  Let's see what Mama Meri has today in her loverly bag o' tricks...

-  First up, a bio for Cell and Raditz have been added to DBZ Marriage Prospects!

-  A winner has been picked for Random DBZ Fill In The Blank Contest and a new sentence is now up.

-  Everyone.......sexy shirtless Vegeta has arrived in the Cels section. =)

Saturday, 9/9/00

-  For your viewing pleasure,  I've made a new Image gallery called Trunks Video Game Pics.   These are some screencaps taken from the Ultimate Battle 22 and Final Bout video games, so enjoy!  This wouldn't be possible without the spiffay resources of DaizenshuuEX.  Thanks for letting me borrow your Playstation to do this, EX!

-  The next new section, which is also video game related, will be out later today.  It's Media/Humor based, so be sure to check it out later on if you have the chance. ^_^

Friday, 9/8/00

-  BWUAHA! VegettoEX, here! HUZZAH! I now own "Temple o' Trunks," bitches! OK, so I don't. Alright, so I don't even know the password to update. .... alright, so Meri's watching me do this right now... blah. I OWN THE SITE! I wish I could update with something. Umm.... too bad I don't have anything to update with. What do you guys and gals wanna see, huh? Hmm.... uhh... d'oh, I have nothing to say. I'm gonna run off with this site, now. Haha! .... [dies] *Meri butts in* Next on FOX: "Web Masters Live Near Each Other and Have Far Too Much Fun Messing With Each Other's Sites"!

-  A bunch of cool Trunks Fanfics from new and old authors alike have been posted.  There's a wide variety of writings today, so there should be something for everyone!

Thursday, 9/7/00

-  In The Trunks Twilight Zone, two new images are now up.

-  Added a few quotes to The Sexuality of Trunks.

-  There are some new spiffay Trunks action figures coming out in the coming months! Dragon Ball Toys Island has some pics of two great looking, never released, Trunks toys.  There's my personal fave, the SSJ Trunks energy blasting figure, and regular Trunks with sword (is it just me, or is there something odd looking about his hips/legs?).  I can't wait for them to come out!  I'm especially looking forward to get the Chi Chi and Raditz figures. They can be new Feature Film "cast members". =P

Wednesday, 9/6/00

-  Sorry it took so long to make this update.  Going back to college took a lot out of me.   Anyway, you know how I said earlier that I was getting a Vegeta cel?  Where there was a slight mix up, and I ended up with a animation sequence of Trunks cel drawings!  Hot damn, that's just as good!  (Don't worry, I still might get the Vegeta one, and I just ordered some more Trunks ones.  I'm turning into a cel junkie!)  To view these wickedly cute images, just check out Trunks Cels.

- Ah, the crazy things I'll do when I hear a random song on the radio that sparks an idea....well, here is a new music video for your enjoyment!  I really kind of made this on a whim, but I liked how it turned out!   It's a barrel of cuteness, I tells ya!  It's called "He's So Shy!:  THESE Are The Men of DBZ?" and it features some of the shyest guys in the series and their relationships with the characters of the female pursuasion.  Kawaii!

-  Everyone, take warning.  I have ordered a Vegeta cel and it finally arrived in the mail.  He's SHIRTLESS.  I'll have a scan of it up later today. *drool*

-  Today, the episode where Trunks kills Freeza airs on Cartoon Network.  Oh, happy day!  Guess what, I'll be in school when it happens! Wahhhh!  God bless vcr's.  As I'm sure many of you have heard, they kinda messed with the actual slicing of the big baddie.  But hell, at least it's on tv!

-  Guess what?  I've totally lost my senses and decided to be a guest speaker/panelist at the first ever DBZ Otakon being held next summer in Red Bank, NJ!  Wheee!  Other DBZ web masters will be there, so you can attend this thing and talk to us and meet us in person (but why would you want to? ^_^)!  If you're interested in going, or would like to learn more what it's about, just check out the site for the con.  It'll be good, clean fun!

Monday, 9/4/00

-  Hey, this is Meri and VegettoEX reporting LIVE from Meri's bangin' pad!  Word foo'!   Well, much to my dismay, EX isn't at all interested in putting some sexy and yummy Trunks pics up on the site with me.  I guess he doesn't think he's a hunky sex machine.  DIE YOU! *kills EX*.  My friends, DaizenshuuEX will no longer be updating from this point on. *drags his cold body off into the river*.  Bye bye for now!

-  OK, time for something almost resembling a real update.   It's a movie file of the new DBZ Intro For Toonami (with Trunks, #18, and all the other new peeps from Season 4).

-  Well gang, Season 4- The Android/Cell Era (IMO, the best episodes in DBZ) begins today on Cartoon Network!  Hope you're ready.  ^_^ Trunks will be making his first appearance tomorrow, and really gets down to business on Wednesday.  I'll have something cool on the ToT by then to commemorate this cool event.  This is only something I've been waiting to see for 4 years now, so ya know, I gotta do something cool for it.  Now, on with the updates!

-  20 GREAT images have been posed in Scans-Page 2.  I highly recommend checking out the big-ass Trunks image I scanned.  This batch is gooooood quality, yo. =)

-  I've added 2 new products to Operators Are Standing By.   One of these items will actually come out in stores soon!

-  Later today, I'll be meeting with VegettoEX of DaizenshuuEX (he just moved to my college, so may as well!).  We were supposed to hook up last night but uuh.....we kinda missed each other, even though we were standing like 20 feet apart from each other. ^_^ It was kinda funny.  Well, here's hoping I come back in one piece.

-  The response for "OPERATION: Say No To 'No Trunks'" has been great!  Thanks go out to everyone who wants to get involved!
