Hey Y'all, What's Cookin'?
Korosu arrives on a dusty, dark, deserted patch of isolated desert. No one was around in miles, and from what he could see, there was no sign of settlement on the horizon. This was a perfect place to train, no innocents to injure, and nothing around to accidentally destroy. Korosu was in heaven, he couldn't hurt society, but he could gain an awful lot of strength.
'Well, better start this thing' the muscular Saiyan thought to himself, his long black hair blowing in the chilling breeze. 'Guess I better make sure I'm still able to achieve the basics of combat'. It had been a long time since he fought, ever since his family had been killed he'd been afraid to battle, but always vowed for vegeance one day. He had spent his life searching for the murderers, but never really knew what he'd do should he ever find them. His mind was made up though, he was going to become stronger, maybe if he made enough of a name for himself, the killers would find him.
Korosu roared out loud as a deep blue aura slowly begins to form around him. Dust is blown in every direction, as he nods his head backwards and opens his jaw massively wide. Eventually he stops feeding the energy, and decides merely to maintain it int he form of the brilliant blue aura that he built up. "Damn, I'm getting rusty, I know this is no where near my maximum...better work with what I got, I'll remember how to build it right up soon enough"
Korosu decided to make the most of his charged up state, and began to unravle his training plan. Punches and kicks lead the lineup, as he rapidly attacked the air as if there was an opponent there. He moves in a way that a clumbsy martial artist would, yet still acheives an excellent execution of every single technique. He jumps into a handstand position, and sweeps his legs round elegantly, beginning to get the hang of the fighting movement. "Ah, it's all coming back to me now!" Korosu laughed out loud before roaring and powering up fully. "Now let's see what I can do!" He yelled, with his speed increasing infinitely as he dashed around repeating the previous movements, but this time completing them with absolute perfection, not faltering once in their carrying-out. He swings his right fist at the air, then within a split second he follows it through with a destructive kick, right in the exact spot that the punch had previously landed. He then sweeps the floor beneath the punches-zone, simulating that he was taking someones legs from under them. Proudly Korosu does a backwards summersault, and lands on his feet in a movement that an olympic gymnast would be proud of. "Heh, pretty damn good even if I do say so myself!" Korosu laughed, before feeling foolish at talking to himself.
He gazes around and takes a deep breath of the clean air, cranks his neck to both sides, then stretches his legs in a manner similar to that of the greatest footballers. Korosu then drops down to the floor, and begins doing press ups, working his arms to their absolute limit, before having them give way on him, making his face collapse into a sweaty pool on the ground. He had managed 2,000 of them before his arms gave way, and found the last 1,000 or so agonizing, thinking his arms would drop off. Still though, Korosu isn't accustomed to giving up, and after a brief 5 minute rest on the floor, he climbed to his feet, breathing heavily still.
'One warm up exercise down, two to go' Korosu thought to himself slightly regrettably as he pushed too hard with the press ups. Still though h he continued on valiantly, moving onto squats, and attempting to get these over with quickly. He is unsuccessful however, and got to the 3,000 mark before his legs just gave way from under him, and sent him crashing to the ground, landing on his back. Although in terrible pain, Korosu couldn't help but smirk goofily, as he was in perfect position for his final 'warm up' exercise.
He put his forefingers at his temples, gave a grunt, then began the sit ups, working immensely hard, and eventually reaching his now usual target of 3,000. He rolls onto his side, desperately searching for air as all the wind has been sucked out of him. It takes a whole minute before he breathing goes back to normal, but when it does he lays there, panting like a worn-out dog. 'Damn, that was the hardest warm up I ever done!' Korosu pondered to himself. "There's work to be done though" he said, as he got up and began swiping his fists weakly at the air.
By the time night came, Korosu had been training all day, and wasn't even able to stand of his own accord. He's worked every part of his body past the limit, and is in an overwhelming agony. With one final right hand hook he tumbles onto the ground, now cold and callous, almost rejecting his sweating body. A look of pain emplants itself on Korosu's already grimacing face. Today had been hard, but it was far from over.
The Saiyan sat down on the floor, and crossed his legs in the traditional fasion for meditating. He cleared his mind of all though, and saw total blackness, managing to completely take his mind of his agonizing pain. Into the darkness walks a simulation of him, standing still, before zooming into motion, going over the same routines of attacks over and over again, until it is perfect, and engraved into his head. He also practiced the movements building up to his KI attacks like this, perfecting them mentally so that he'd be able to execute them better physcially. His final exercise in meditating was the toughest one yet.
Korosu concentrated hard on his surroundings, and searched hard for something to focus on. After a while he found a source of much needed water burried deep into the ground. With another deep breath, Korosu roars, and using his immense mind powers, he raises it out of the ground, making it gush like a fountain. After around an hour or so of meditating in this fashion, Korosu's fell back, and decided that he'd sleep in the desert, right after a drink. He crawled over to the fountain, and weakly guzzled the fresh clear water, before falling face first to the ground, rolling onto his back, and dropping off, fatigue, and tiredness getting the better of him.
(OOC - I hope everyone liked that, here's a few tips if you want to do it in the same style (Obviously you dont have to, and my way isnt neccessarily better). Write a detailed account, be thorough with what you do so a better idea is given out. Don't fight robots or NPCs, its a waste of time, Spar with someone if you're going to do anything like that. You should set the scene well, and keep it as interesting as possible. Finally, make sure you actually do training in your RP, as some people go overboard and forget to actually do anything to increase their PL. I hope this has been useful to at least some of you)
