Sorry I've been gone and/or if I haven't responded to emails as of late. Stupid mail virus...just when you think it's safe BOOM! It comes back and in full effects. Anyway, I have decided to take the links to the "mods" off of the game section

*begin rant*

I've seen alot of bad business decision and I've seen and heard of plain and flat out DUMB decisions, but this takes the cake. Not only has FUNimation in my opinion given alot of DBZ fans the short end of the stick throughout their reign but to be doing so little compared to other companies they sure do exercise their power a great deal.

First it was fansub which gave true fans an opportunity to view the RAW japanese DBZ with subs. There's no way it was taking profit from them, mind you this was back when we hadn't even seen Furiza or Dende on TV yet. So how could a place selling tapes of Majin Buu affect them in any way at all? Years later fansub has weakened a great deal, but what do we have to show for it?

Then FUNi went after websites with DBZ or DBZ Character names in their site adress (ex: www.gokudbz.com). This has got to be the most ridiculous thing I've heard since buying people's names and selling it back to them. I mean really, like Regis Filbin is gonna pay you 2 million dollars to have RegisFilbin.com in his possession, gimme a break.

Next came Full Episodes which they haven't even scratched the surface on yet, but that'll kill itself off. I'm telling you know that Full Eps. are the worst thing you can put on your site. Not only do they take up mad space, but a place like GeoCities will erase all your hard work just for linking to them if you're caught. People downloading them will drive your bandwidth cost up and most of all you could get a letter in the mail one day saying FUNi just layedeth the smacketh down on your site and you must close it or remove the episodes. So uploading them is just a waste of your time, unless you have a T3 connection, host your own site with unlimited space and bandwidth, and you could care less about being sued.

Now this, it finally came to one of the cornerstones of the DBZ community and that is Bid For Power. True it would have spurred many people to go out and buy Quake III. But I mean are you really gonna sit there and tell me that's taking away from Infogrames profit when they haven't even released a game yet? Neither have they even given us solid information or footage. Not only that, but it's not like they don't know how much exposure this could bring to DBZ. They even tried to get the team to dumb down the Quake 3 mod into some java-based wild tangent crap so they could put it on their site. Enforcing their power because of their possession of the DBZ liscense is one thing, but blatantly trying to turn someone elses work into a hit magnet or a mean of profit is just low down and dirty. I can imagine it now "DBZ: Bid For Power by FUNimation @ Toonami.com!" and then in small SMALL print at the bottom of the page:

"We also owe the Bid For Power Team some credit, but we don't really care so we'll put it here in the fine print. By the way WHY ARE YOU LOOKING HERE!? Look back up at the shiny new mean of profit we have!!! Pay $5,000 and win a trip to our offices and see for yourself just how we get pour saps to sell their soul to us!!! And we promise it's absolutely FREE! (with $5,000 shipping and handling and $5,000 tax and $15,000 in other penalties and fees)"

*lol* But I mean be serious for a moment, do they really think we are THAT stupid not to see what they tried to do? In another year or so, the guy with glasses won't be the only one playing "monopoly" and I don't mean Bill Gates.

I'm so glad that the BFP team just decided to keep the anime feel, but drop the DBZ characters. What am I saying? The whole point of this thing was to have the greatest DBZ game we may ever see right!? You forget that once the mod comes out it is no longer their responsibility if it has nothing to do with DBZ, I can see the BFP Mod Mutators and DBZ Character packs now. Don't give up, don't ever give up. We've lost this battle, but the war is far from over, even if BFP is no longer DBZ I urge people to support them as a statement to FUNimation that we won't be pushed around. I'm not saying fill the internet up with "I hate FUNimation" sites or "WE WANT BID FOR POWER" petitions because it won't work.

But, the BFP team has still done alot of work and if they won't recognize them for it then someone has.

*end rant*

The point:
And that brings me to the main subject of this, I will be taking the "mods" out of the gaming section so if you don't have them then you may want to bookmark them now. The reason is because I'd hate to see anymore go down the drain and I don't want this site to be an avenue to where they can be found and also closed.
