DBZ mentioned on Buffy the Vampire Slayer
Posted Tuesday, January 21, 2003 by Jon Allen
Last year DBZ gets mentioned on Fox's "Grounded for Life," this year it's Buffy the Vampire slayer, as one of the newer characters compares himself to the prince of all Saiya-jins in quote not unlike the one I'm about to transcribe for you.
"I'm reformed...I'm like Vegeta on DBZ, I used to be an evil saiyan, but now I'm all super saiyan and good."
Naturally they have the nerdy "not on the same team if you catch my drift" character say it...oh well, at this pace Z should get mentioned on King of the Hill any day now, with Hank freaking out and deciding to take Bobby on yet another Redneck "let's get drunk and kill things TEXAS style" road trip after catching his son watching Vegeta killing #19, because "that Japanese crap ain't right."
The very thought makes the blood flow to my crotch with all the speed and power of a raging waterfull. No really, it does. (end sarcasm)
Thanks to Jake Sorkin for telling me the wonderful news. (end even more sarcasm...well, kinda, anyway)
Ultimate Battle 22 to Hit the U.S.
Posted Tuesday, January 21, 2003 by Tim
DragonballToys.com is reporting that DBZ: Ultimate Battle 22 has been confirmed to come to the U.S. this coming March 26th on PSX. This is quite surprising news to me that after all this time, the game is being translated and released here. This is one of the better DBZ games for PSX, a lot better than DBGT Final Bout. Keep your eyes peeled for this title.
It also appears that DBZ: Legacy II - Future Shock is going to hit GBA on June 25th, so if you were a fan of Legacy of Goku, this news if for you.

Here Comes the Pathetic Excuse...
Posted Sunday, January 19, 2003 by Mandrew
Sorry for the bad lack of updates on my part, but I have been very busy as of late. I haven't had much time to reach my computer and type up more summaries. So, I will probably be gone in a few days and might pop my head in with an update or two, but don't expect a whole lot from me. I'm sorry everyone, but life is getting more complicated for me, and please hold the e-mails from spamming me. I will definatly try my hardest to update tonight or tomorrow. Cyas later.
Dragonball GT Release Dates, Dragon Ball on DVD
Posted Saturday, January 18, 2003 by Tim
Anime on DVD is reporting that the first two DBGT DVD's will be released on April 15th. The two dvds are entitled Baby: Affliction and Baby: Incubation. This kinda makes me wonder if FUNimation has just jumped right on into the first saga of GT...
The next two DVDs, Baby: Creation and Baby: Proliferation, are due out May 20th.
Dragon Ball: World Tournament DVD box set is also scheduled to hit stores April 22nd. I can definitely say it's about time these titles have hit DVD. Another interesting title is Dragon Ball Feature 1 - The Path to Power is also listed for release on April 29th. With Z wrapping up, looks like there is still more to look forward to.
Dragonball Z VA Appearance
Posted Friday, January 17, 2003 by Tim
Kyle Hebert (teen Gohan) and Josh Martin (Majin Buu) will be appearing with the DBZ Hummer in San Diego, CA this Saturday afternoon, January 18th, at the Westfield Shoppingtown Mission Valley (near the AMC 20 theater). This is a great opportunity for fans in San Diego to meet these two guys. Maybe "Pink Hat Guy" Jon Allen will be there, but I am not sure.
