Everything was going great until there was a great evil power the everyone started to sense that was heading for earth, and no one could belive it, because this power was so big, and it was so far beyond all of the others' power levels that they had no idea how they were going to defeat it. So they all gathered to where the power landed and they found out that it was Frieza. But how did Frieza survive the explosion of namek even after Goku had annihilated him. But Frieza explains that he had barley survived, and when he was dying in space his father found him and took him into his spaceship, repaired him and have him robotic parts so now he is even stronger. When Frieza is about to launch all of his men to destroy the earth, a mysterious voice comes out of the sky, and a boy is floating there, no one knows who he is, but he has purple hair in sort of a mushroom cut, he has a sword, and wears a Capsule Corporation jacket.

This boy is about 15 or 16, he is a teenager, and as he floats down he introduces himself as being Trunks. Frieza checks his scouter and sees that he only has a power level or 5. So he laughs and tells his guards to take out the kid, but Trunks takes out the guards with extreme ease, and as he stands there he shows Frieza that he isn't the only one who is powerful. Frieza gets mad that all his guards are dead, he talks to trunks and says that he shouldn't get involved because if he does he will get hurt. Trunks laughs and tells Frieza that Goku isn't the only super saiyan. Frieza's father asks "what's a Goku?" and Frieza says that Goku is the one responsible for beating him down on namek. Trunks continues with his speech, and finishes it off by turning into a super saiyan! Vegeta is amazed by this and he doesn't believe it because Goku and him are the only Saiyans that are left, he says that Trunks must be a fraud, and he can't belive that there are now 2 of them and Vegeta still can't turn into one.

Trunks manhandles Frieza making him look like a fool, and Frieza can't belive that someone with a power level of only 5 can do something like this. So he launches the death ball at trunks (the same one responsible for the destruction of namek) and trunks catches it and throws it back at Frieza. he then teleports out of sight. While Frieza is looking for him he calls Frieza's name and we find out the he is on a nearby mountain ledge, as Frieza turns around, Trunks launches a beam at him which Frieza easily dodges, but the point of the beam was not to destroy Frieza it was to distract him, for while he was dodging it Trunks teleported above him, and took out his sword, and slashed Frieza in half (Vertically) as Frieza's vision splits, into 2 Trunks continues to slice away at him chopping him into a bunch of little pieces, and then frying all of them with a powerful Ki blast.

He then moves forward to Frieza's father King Cold, who is much weaker then Frieza since he is only in the 2nd form of their race's transformation. King Cold tries to bargain his way out of the battle because he knows he is going to get annihilated, so he pays trunks a bunch of compliments, and all that, but trunks doesn't Buy it, so King Cold finally asks to see Trunks' sword, because he thinks that Trunks is nothing without his sword, and says that without it he is totally defenseless. But trunks doesn't buy it so he gives King Cold the sword only to prove him wrong. While the father of the dead Frieza is examining it he strikes at trunks with it. But trunks catches it in mid air, and bends it aside also moving King Cold's body, he then tells King cold that he should know that the weapon doesn't make the fighter, and blasts him in the chest into a mountain. Then he puts his sword back, and goes over to him and kills him.

The rest of the z fighters aren't sure of what to think about all this, because they don't know if Trunks is an ally or an enemy, but after a but when Trunks looks over he tells them to come over because he is going to wait for Goku. Everyone is amazed that Trunks knows who Goku is, so they all follow him to an area in the middle of nowhere where Trunks sots down and waits for Goku. He takes out a capsule and throws it on the ground, and a refrigerator with soda pop appears. He gives them all drinks. All except Vegeta (who is wearing a pink shirt) Trunks looks over at Vegeta kind of weird, and Vegeta makes some remarks about Trunks staring at him, and Trunks just says that he likes his shirt. After a while Trunks finally says that Goku is about to land, because he can sense his power. Then a few minutes later Piccolo, Gohan and the rest of the z Fighters start to sense his power also.

A Saiyan space pod comes out of the sky and lands in the middle of nowhere. Trunks and the others go and surround the crater where it landed, and when it opens up Goku emerges wearing Shakespearean style clothing. He is shocked that everyone knew that he was coming, and he says how did they all know, he wanted to make it a surprise. They all said that it was Because of the strange teenager named Trunks, and that he was the one who knew about where and when Goku was going to land. Goku tells them that after he had defeated Frieza he couldn't find a ship to get off the planet, until at the last second after he had tried Frieza's spaceship, he then found one of the Gynu space pods and immediately, seconds before the planet exploded he got in and punched in anything just so that it would lift off, When it lifted off he went unconscious, and it landed on a strange planet where the inhabitants took care of him, and let him train, they also taught him a new technique called instant Transmission. Goku said that he could have gotten to earth before Frieza and defeated Frieza but he sensed that Trunks was there so he didn't bother.

He explained that this new technique allows him to travel at the speed of light to anywhere he wants to, because it dematerializes him and then rematerializes him to anywhere he wants to go instantly. To prove it he used it to Get Master Roshi's sunglasses in less then a fraction of a second. They all were amazed at this new technique. And Trunks interrupted to talk to Goku privately. They both flew off a bit away from the rest of the gang so that they couldn't hear what they were saying. And Trunks explained that he is in fact from the future. He came back from the future to warn everyone of a terrible threat that will emerge in 3 years. He tells Goku about a pair of androids that will appear and terrorize the earth, and that these androids are beyond anything anyone has ever seen. He says that Goku dies from a heart disease in the future, so he isn't even able to fight with the androids, and that everyone else also dies, everyone except for Gohan and himself. The Androids kill everyone, and there are no Dragonballs since piccolo was killed.

Goku gets mad that he dies from such a stupid thing as a heart disease, but Trunks reassures Goku and tells him that there is no cure for the disease at the moment, but in his time there is, and he brought it back with him, he gives it to Goku, and tells him to take it when he gets the disease. He then says that he is the Son of Vegeta and Bulma that is how he is able to turn into a super saiyan. They then Fly back to the rest of the gang, and Goku finds out that Piccolo heard the whole thing, since he has super hearing (he is a namek after all) Piccolo reassures Goku that he will use discretion when telling the others about anything that might change the future timeline, especially about the fact that he is Vegeta and Bulma's son. He must be careful not to say it because then there is a risk of him not even being born. Trunks returns to the Future, and Goku explains to everyone what the situation is. He tells them that there is a evil and powerful threat coming in 3 years, and that they have to get to training like crazy. So everyone splits up and says that they will all meet up in 3 years.

Vegeta goes to training like he has never before in a Ship especially designed for him with a gravity machine in it that goes up to 600 times gravity, and so Vegeta starts to train, almost killing himself. Goku, Gohan and Piccolo all train together, and spar. Gohan keeps getting annihilated but he says that he doesn't want his father to hold back because he wants to get as strong as Piccolo and Goku. Vegeta keeps training, and killing himself, and once he went so far that he literally almost died, and so Bulma came in and took care of him and the relationship started from there. While he was still recovering in the bandages he got up and realized he was wasting time recovering and went back into training, driven by the fact that he is unable to turn into a super saiyan and that there are 2 of them out there. He is a saiyan prince and he should have been the first one to do it. And so all of the z Fighters continue their training, for the 3 years until the day that Trunks said that the androids will appear. On that day everyone came together, and went to the area that Trunks said that they would appear, and they began to look...
