Earth's special forces are a group of elite fighters from all around the world, there are some human and some non-human, in Dragonball Z, the group od earth's special forces was gathered in the beginning to battle agains evil and to save the world without the world knowing it. They were comprised of some of the best and most talented fighters from around the world. In the first version of the earth's special forces, the group consisted of the following members...

Who's in the special forces?
- Goku
- Gohan
- Piccolo
- Choutzu
- Tien
- Krillin
- Master Roshi
- Yamcha

What else?
They were gathered to fight against the evil saiyans that were coming to invade the earth, so therefore they gathered, and trained. They opposed the saiyans, and even though most of them died, the one named Goku (Kakarrot) eventually defeated the enemies. There is a difference however between earths special forces and z fighters, because you see z fighters are a different class of fighters. Earth's special forces eventually became obsolete after the saiyan saga, because they became too weak to oppose the new and stronger enemies, so they just got in the way. The new group of super fighters emerged called z warriors, but you will have to read the page on Z warriors to find out more about them.
