The 7 Goldenballs:
Goldenballs are just a fancy word for dragonballs.
The Dragonballs are plot devices pure and simple.
There are three sets seen through out the series, each with differing abilities.
There are seven Dragonballs, if one collects all seven balls then the Dragon will grant
any wish they want, provided that the wish they make under the Dragons power.
At the time of the Freeza Saga, there are two sets of balls.
One set is the dragonballs made by the original Kami on earth, and the other set of dragonballs
on Nameck created by Guru. Afterward the Cell Saga, Dende creates a third set of dragonballs
to replace the set created by Kami. The powers of each set are different.
Dragonball Set 1 (Earth set):
There are seven balls, and each is yellow-orange, about the size of a baseball and marked with
small red stars that indicates the ball's number. If all seven are brought together, Shenlong
can be summoned and asked to grant a wish (and only one wish). You get one wish every 365 days,
and after making the wish, the balls will fly up into the air and then scatter across the globe.
The wish can raise the dead, but only those people who haven't been dead for more than a year,
or who have died of natural causes. No person can be revived twice by Shenlong.
The wish can also raise up to 50 people in one shot. For Example the wish maked my King Kai, Kami,
and Mr Popo to bring back everone back to life killed by Freeza.
Shenlong will not kill or destroy things.
Shenlong will not twist a wish around and will not mess up a wish .
He will inform the requester is a wish is invalid or beyond his power.
Dragonball Set 2 (Namek set):
There are seven balls, and each is yellow-orange, about the size of a basketball and marked
with small red stars that indicates the ball's number. If all seven are brought together,
the Namek Porunga can be summoned with the phrase "Takkarato Popporunga Pupirittoparo,"
and asked to grant three wishes. You get the three wishes every 130 days, and after making
the wishes, the balls will fly up into the air and then become stone for only 130 days.
The wishes can be used to raise the dead, but only those people who have NOT been dead more than
a year. The wish can also raise up to five billion people in one shot.
Earth was recreated with one wish from the Nameck balls. Porunga will not
kill or destroy things, as the ball's creator is a healer, not a warrior. You can also only make
the same wish as many time you want.
Dragonball Set 3 (Earth set created by Dende):
There are seven balls, and each is yellow-orange, about the size of a baseball and marked with
small red stars that indicates the ball's number. If all seven are brought together, Shenlong
can be summoned and asked to grant three wishes. You get the three wishes every 365 days, and
after making the wishes, the balls will fly up into the air and then scatter across the globe.
The wish can raise the dead, but only those people who haven't been dead more than a year.
The wish can also raise up to five billion people people in one shot. Shelong will not kill
or destroy things, as Dende is a healer, not a warrior. You can also only make the same
wish more than once.
BlackStar Dragon Balls:
These Dragon Balls were created by Kami before himself and Piccolo were seperated into two seperate Nameksei-jins. This supposedly gives the Balls great power. These Dragon Balls are discovered by Emperor Pilaf in Dragon Ball GT. The Balls are the same size and color as Earth's Dragon Balls except the stars are black in them. The Balls Dragon is similar to Shenlong except he is red and black. After the Dragon Balls were wished on they were scattered throughout the entire galaxy instead of just Earth. Once the Dragon Balls were wished on, the Earth was said to explode if the Balls were not gathered in one year and the Earth was wished to not explode.
Dragon Radar:
This is the tracker that Bulma uses to find the dragonballs.
It will tell you how far away each dragonball is, what direction and which number the ball is.
It will also find the Namek dragonballs as well.
Note:
The Red Ribbon Army used difftent kind of Radars to track Dragonballs.
And Freeza Henchmen and the Ginyu Force used Scouters to track Dragonballs.
Some people can develop a special Ki to sense Dragonballs like Vegeta.
