Movie 01- The Legend of Shenron:
This is basically a summary of Goku's first meeting with Bulma, Oolong and Yamcha. They all go searching for the dragonballs with their own reasons, but it seems a monster with an insatiable hunger is also looking for the dragonballs.
Movie 02- The Princess in Devil's Castle
In order to receive training from Master Roshi, Goku sets off to his island, but it seems another boy, named Krillin, a bald headed Buddhist monk, has also sought training from Master Roshi. So in order to earn training from Roshi, the two boys are told to bring a sleeping princess from a castle named Devil's castle. Whoever brings back the princess will receive training from the master. But, there is more to the castle than just the sleeping princess.
Movie 03- Mysterious Adventures
This is basically another search-for-the-dragonballs movie, but there is the World Martial Arts Tournament also involved. Goku and Krillin have completed training under Master Roshi, and now they are willing to participate in the Tournament. The young Emperor, Chiaotzu, is sponsoring the Tournament, but unfortunately, his wife has been kidnapped and the young emperor's evil advisor suggests that the only way to bring her back is by using the dragonballs. As the tournament goes on, Bulma is searching the Dragonballs herself and has plans of her own.
Movie 05- The Majic Begins(Live Action Movie)
The movie is basically a retelling of the Emperor Pilaf Saga, only with live characters and different character names. The movie begins with a village in China that receives the one star Dragon Pearl or Dragonball as a gift. The village is soon invaded by a group of aliens whose leader is Emperor Horn. (Just to refresh your memories, if all the seven Dragon Pearls are collected, the eternal dragon comes and will grant you a single wish for anything) Emperor Horn disposes of the village chief, but the village chief's daughter, Jade escapes. Two of the best fighters of Emperor Horn's squad, Zebrata and Malilia(Shao and Mai), are sent to the east to get the four star Dragon Pearl. This is where we meet Sparkle(Grandpa Gohan) and his grandson, Monkey Boy(Goku). At nightime, Monkey Boy meets a girl named Seeto(Bulma) who is also on a quest for the Dragonballs. Seeto spots Zebrata and Malilia heading towards Sparkle's home and they fled the area with the four star Dragon Pearl. The two agents arrive late. From here, Monkey Boy and Seeto meet a few new characters; the cowardly Piggy who can shape-shift and also has a thing for girls, the thief Westwood(Yamcha) and his accomplice, Miss KnowWhat(Puar)(Westwood plans to use the Dragon Pearls to wish away his fear of girls) and also the radical and also shameless kung-fu master, Turtle Man(Master Roshi), who later gives the Majic Cloud to Monkey Boy. The film climaxes with an intense battle for the Dragon Pearls at Jade's village.
